I think Jumanji is the only movie where I've seen him with beard, but I think it was the mix of a nice room in the background and his unkempt appearance that gave it away.
I've only seen that movie in full once, otherwise.

I had forgotten those, but I haven't seen awakenings, and in the first his beard were far from that big.
