here is some random chatter that's sad. my best friend lives in Lexington ky and I live in Cincinnati Oh. she's been sick on and off for a long time, but I got the call this weekend she's in very bad shape, her liver is dead and she's not doing very well, so i went to see her today. It broke my heart to see my best friend who is only 49 on the edge of life, it could go either way in the next couple of days. I'm praying for her, and hope anyone who reads this will too.
She's too young to die............. dreamer

HEY!!!
I have a whole lot of stress off me as of today... we had a lady that came to our house to start the home study for our upcoming adoption. I have been a basket case about this for quite a while now... mainly because of the condition of our home and the trouble my daughter was in a while back. Well, as she was getting ready to leave she let us know that she would be giving us a positive report and recommending us as Skye's new parents!!! We have a lot more to get threw, but this was the worst part of it. I know my husband will be a lot happier with me now.

Lil Jo - Glad to hear that, my friends that are going through adoption were nuts around the time of their home assessment. Of course, she's only confirming what we all know here, you guys are definately the best thing for Skye. Hopefully things will go smoothly from here on in.

Thank you... Skye is reminding me daily how much fun the pre-toddler stage is... she is past the baby stage and is almost cralling, so everything is wanted but she cannot get to it yet. Little does she know, she cannot have it when she can get to it either...

Here we witness life's full circle on one page, infinite sadness and loss on one hand..ultimate joy and happiness on the other..weights and balances..swings and roundabouts..it all boils down to the same thing in the end. A life maybe ending, another just beginning. Makes you feel pretty insignificant doesn't it? We're all just along for the ride here. Dreamer that's such a sad thing about your friend, how is she doing now?i hope she's had a great life to make up for what she's going through now sad Jo, the very best of luck to you with this. i was so happy when i read that you were wanting to adopt Skye, it seems by far the most sensible thing you could do, though i know you're doing out of love not just practicality for the child heart

thank you to everyone who said prayers for my friend, I got a call at midnight last night, she's out of the hospital for now but she needs to get on a transplant list because her liver is dead, it's a blessing that's she was well enough to go home. when i saw her last week they(family) didn't think she would make it. Thanks again, your prayers helped... dreamer

Hope things go well with your friend Dreamer, and that she finds a healthy liver soooon.
I've got a couple of friends who are going down with cancer. Dunno if it's my imagination, but it seems as though there is a sharp increase of cancer. There seems to be so much more ppl getting it now than when I was younger ..... my imagination? I hope so

hi everyone, my friend is back in the hospital again because she can't walk. I went to lexington ky to see her again, she looked a little better but when i got home her sister called to say she was quarintened because of a bacterial infection, i hope she pulls through this episode. thanks again for all the support from everyone........dreamer heart
