Romy frowned, still searching. Surely the Snitch was nearby. Lucky for him, it didn't seem as if any of the other Seekers had located it. He flew around a bit, navy eyes hunting for the Snitch, wherever it may be.

Alexandria bit her lip as she watched Remy swipe at the quaffle in Xavier's grasp. About a second later, an older boy appeared next to her and hit an oncoming bludger away. In all honesty, the eleven year old hadn't a clue that Ronna hit a bludger towards her, or that one was even flying in her direction. "Thanks," she spit out, approaching Remy to try and steal the quaffle away.

The sense of Deja Vu washed over the teen again as he noticed a glint of gold. No freaking way. The Snitch!! Romy flew after it, feeling more confident than he had ever felt in his life. Something internal told him he could win this... or he had gas. Either way.

Romy chased faster, eyes widened in excitement. This was wild! He flew fast, laying low to his broom. Hopefully he could make his sisters... and Anna proud. Somehow, he felt that his companion was cheering him on, which gave him a bubble of elation. Yes, he knew his Anna was cheering for him, and that made him more proud than ever.

And ouch... pretty sure I'm going to kill Cameron after this.

Ronna had to say she was impressed by Cameron's save of Alex then again he was fairly experienced regardless of if he was a bit of a jerk on the try-outs okay quite a bit, at least to the beater competition. Hell, he was dating the captain shouldn't that give him some advantage? Her thoughts of him were confirmed when she saw the bludger coming towards her, which though she wasn't able to dodge completely she was able to dodge the worse of the hit and take it on her thigh: it was going to leave a nasty welt but she had had far worse hits, especially in this practice.
She rolled her eyes as she raised and hoped Cameron felt proud of himself... at least someone was having a good try-out as beater. Of course Treyve wasn't doing bad. She scanned the field again debating targets.

Romy flew even faster, reaching his right hand forward. He didn't notice the slight angle of his fingers, that had been there since he broke his hand the year prior. No, he had one thing on his mind, and that was the Snitch. He had to catch. He knew he could do it! Those stupid chin-ups weren't for nothing!

Romy was right there! He reached out, staring in intense concentration. He knew he could do this. Hopefully Anna was cheering even harder, or perhaps waiting with baited breath. His own air intake had halted, instead all his focus was on the Snitch. He. Would. Catch.

Petty and probably futile but it'll give Cam something to do.

Annoyed, Ronna decided even though it was unlikely she was going to hit Cam considering his experience flying, she figured a bludger to dodge would be healthy for him. It was the second time she had been hit by Cam and she knew Cam was targeting beaters so she thought at the very least venting her frustration aiming a bludger at her would help her focus more as time continued and if she got hit more severely by a bludger, for example that bludger to her ankle before the healing potion had affected her playing more than she cared to admit.
She swung the bat aiming a bludger straight towards Cam. She had to admit even if the bludger missed the swing towards him was calming for her.

Romy gasped in shock. He did it. The teen couldn't contain his excitement, and instead let it out in a burst of laughter. He caught the Snitch. For real this time, not a silly daydream. "I CAUGHT THE SNITCH! I DID IT!" His grin was rather impressive, but the fact that he held his right hand over his head with the Snitch in it made it so much better. He couldn't wait to see if he made the team on his own merit this year.
