The prodigal son of a former Yukigakure shinobi, Kane has always shown a tremendous aptitude for the use of Hyoton techniques. Even without any proper training in the use of his unique bloodline's chakra, Kane has unknowingly accessed his ability to create and manipulate ice on three separate occasions. The first was on the journey south as they fled the hunter nin of Yukigakure, creating a mighty wall of ice between his family and the enemy shinobi as they closed in with them. After this show of power, Kane's father has constantly tried to draw out his hidden potential, but has only succeeded twice so far.

What he can say is that Uncanny Dodge: Allows him to dodge [blank-jutsu] attacks under rank D.
Since he's a bukijutsu user, it would be either taijutsu or bukijutsu attacks.

Personality: A troubled past holds a conflicted present. Naturally, Kouhei is a very emotional individual. He is angry, sorrowful, and loving. With his Taijutsu style of choice, Kouhei can channel his emotions into fighting. Because of this, outwardly Kouhei is a very emotionless individual. He speaks little more than necessary, and doesn't seemed to be phased by killing man, woman, or child. Of course, Kouhei is extremely humane and doesn't enjoy killing at all. At the same time, he knows that killing is necessary and that many deserve to die. To sum up Kouhei's personality, his morals are extremely conflicted. The perfect example is his views of his brother. He is afraid of seeing him again, but at the same time he doesn't want to die before apologizing to his brother about not being able to see his anger. Contrary to his conflicting values, in combat Kouhei is remarkably straight-forward, and whether he believes in what he's doing or not he always carries it through.

The Kirigakure had always been Kouhei's home. Both his parents had grown up in the misty village surrounded by water, and as such it didn't come as a surprise that they would raise their two children there as well. Twins, Kouhei and Shuuhei were inseparable in their childhood. Shuuhei would drag Kouhei into all sorts of adventures in their early childhood, and Kouhei would grudgingly follow. Kouhei was the quiet one, and Shuuhei was the extroverted one. Two sides, two opposites that seemed to be attached at the hip. While his brother was able to get away with and do practically, Kouhei simply lurked in his shadow. And in his brother's shadow Kouhei would remain, until Shuuhei convinced Kouhei to attend the academy with him. Because at the academy, Kouhei would discover the difference that would make him more than Shuuhei's brother, the difference in skill level of the trade Shuuhei had forced him into.

Kouhei was the top of his class in all aspects of the academy. Ninjutsu, Genjutsu, Taijutsu, Bukijutsu, it seemed as though there was no area of weakness. Meanwhile, Shuuhei could hardly keep good enough grades to stay in the academy, despite struggling to be as skilled as his brother. And Kouhei stayed at the top of his class effortlessly. All of the teachers admired his skill, and though Kouhei hadn't changed much in his demeanor, he quickly over shadowed his brother. Since entering the academy, it was as though his brother didn't even exist. When they graduated from the academy, they were paired together in a team. Though Kouhei was more than willing to work with his brother, his brother was not willing to work with him and they barely made it to the Chuunin exams despite the fact that two of the three members of the team were working as hard as they could to get there. It seemed as though Shuuhei didn't care if he was bringing himself down just so long as his brother came down with him.

Thanks to Shuuhei continuing to try and bring his brother down, the Chuunin exams were a struggle. It took all of Kouhei's power to get past his brother's obstructions. In the end, his brother failed miserably, due to focusing on bringing his brother down, and blamed it on Kouhei. And Kouhei blamed himself as well for bringing his brother down. Shortly after, Shuuhei challenged Kouhei to a duel, and left Kouhei no option but to fight. After a long and bloody duel where Kouhei obviously had the upper hand, Kouhei was able to convince Shuuhei to let the matter drop. Shuuhei was infuriated, but Kouhei wouldn't allow the fight to continue. His brother vanished without a trace, and hasn't been heard from since. And Kouhei hasn't been heard from since the fight either. He was a recluse for the next several years, and none saw him except for the occasional delivery boy to bring him food. In this time, Kouhei's Bukijutsu skills dulled to the point where they are non-existent, and overall his skills became much worse than they were at the time of his duel, all those years ago...
