Rumors and Plants (NightWerewolf here)

Eva jumped for joy once he had told her the time. "Yes!" She jumped. "A new record. Wait, till my brothers hear about this!" She said excitedly. Alex kissed her quickly and Leroy just rolled her eyes with a smile.

"Are you love birds, let's get back to work." He said and went back to finishing up the car. Eva gasped.

"Oo, yay! More work!" She said and continued on the bike before.

Alex couldn't help but laugh. He smiled and went back under the car he had been working on.

Hours passed and Eva had fixed four motorcycles. As Leroy and the boys were heading out, she was finishing up her fifth bike for the day. "Give it a rest, Eva. Go home." Leroy chuckled.

"Goodnight, Leroy." She chuckled. Leroy rolled his eyes and left. Eva continued to work on the bike.

Alex had finished with his car and the owner drove off with it. He went over to Eva. "You want some help with that?"

"Actually," Eva said as she was screwing in a nut. "I'm done." She smiled. "The owner is picking it up tomorrow so it has to stay here." She said. Out of nowhere her stomach began to growl. Eva could feel her cheeks turning red from embarrassment. "I guess that means it's time to eat." She giggled.

Alex chuckled. "Meet you at your place later? I'm gonna go take a shower and get freshened up." He smiled.

Eva nodded and gave him a kiss before heading home. She took a shower and changed but when she went downstairs there was still no Riley. Eva called her name but still nothing.

Alex took a quick shower and put on another one of his tighter shirts and some jeans. He grabbed his jacket and headed out the door. "Right... the cars at Eva's." He sighed and started to walk towards her place.

Eva poured food in Riley's bowl and cried her name. But still no Riley. She even started to look outside but she was nowhere to be found. Eva walked in the kitchen and started to make dinner for her and Alex.

Alex made his way up the hill and after a little while he finally made it to the front door of her house. He smiled as he breathed in the scent of dinner and knocked on the door.

Eva almost jumped at the sound of the door. "Hey." She smiled before kissing him. "Oo, tight shirt. I like." Eva said as she wrapped her arms around him.

Alex chuckled and hugged her back tightly. "I thought you might like that." He smiled and kissed her quickly.

Eva took his head and led him to the kitchen where the table was already set for them. "Hey babe, have you seen Riley anywhere in the town? I can't seem to find her."

Alex shook his head and sat down at the table. "Sorry I haven't seen her. Last time I saw Riley was... well before I proposed to you I think." He said getting a little worried for there furry match maker.

Eva nodded. "Yeah same here." They finished their dinner and Eva sat back. Still wondering where her cat was. Suddenly, Riley appeared in the door. She meowed and then ran upstairs indicating for them to follow. Eva looked at Alex and then started to run upstairs. "Riley." She called but no answer. Finally, she heard the cat meow but it was coming from the attic. Eva grabbed a flashlight and climbed up the latter. "I knew there was one place I forgot to check."
