Sometimes I wonder how much I have missed, but considering the state of GW the latest decade, I wonder if it really is very much.

....Which reminds me, did anyone get that Assassination Force game?
Is it any good?

I still think Inquisitor would have become great if they had used the regular miniature's scale of 28 mm Heroic.

Make few new models and have test-rules on WD to try and use in
regular 40k game. smile

Considering what they are now doing with Supplements, formations,
always up-to-date books, Warhammer Vision and other stuff,
I prefer they wouldn't touch it for a 10.000 years. :c
Buuuuut, if designed right, it could work. :3

After a lot of pestering I couldn't get a real answer, but from what I remember it was a case of a studio painter painting the minis in a dark green instead of black for a big publication and it somehow managed to slip between the editorial cracks.

This led to the retcon that Dark Angels are green and not black. emotion_facepalm

Yes, but the redcon kinda made it better for the chapter by giving them their own identity over other black armoured chapters.

Dark Angels used to have black armours with dark green shoulder pads
to signify him being battle-brother from Caliban.
After Horus Heresy and the loss of their homeworld,
the chapter repainted their armours to dark green,
to remind them of their shame of lost honor and homeworld.

And it seems GW have made Battleforged and Unbound armies obsolete.
Dark Angels has an option of building an army called Lion's Blade Strike Force,
which consists of, you quess it, multible formatins, all with their own formation special rules to boot.

........this game has stopped making sense...... :c
