Alice didn't even pay attention to Jess. Flowing the golden ball she inched closer. Hopefully she could reach her hand around it before the older Hufflepuff did. If she had of been paying attention to those around her, Alice would have been interested to see it. However she needed to focus... definitely not one of her strong suits.

Glancing over at the Black seeker, Iris decided to try distracting the player. After all, disabling a seeker in a real game was practically a guaranteed win for your own team. Flying towards a bludger, she swung at it, intending to sent it towards Alice.

Jasper saw the trouble that Olyvia was being. Quickly shaking off the attempts that were made to hit him he went to work. Scanning for the next closest bludger he lined himself up with it. Swinging Jasper hopped to make things easier for his teammates.

The bludger jinked towards Iris at the last second. Iris sucked in a breath as she clipped the ball with her forearm, rolling with the hit to bleed off some of the impact. She spun crazily for a moment, legs holding onto her broom with a deathgrip, but there was no tell tale snap, and her arm ached, but was still functional. Iris took a second to catch her breath and bend her arm a few times, getting used to the pain so it wouldn't distract her.
