Sirius chuckled and relaxed further against Remus. "All right, then." The feeling of being rushed, that they had to leave soon, dissipated as he stifled a yawn.

Remus rested his head on Sirius' chest and closed his eyes. He felt so happy he didn't care if Sirius could see his scars.

Sirius nuzzled the back of Remus's neck. "How do you feel," he half-slurred, trying to decide if he wanted to stay awake and cuddle or fall asleep with the one he loved in his arms.

Sirius ignored Remus's command for him to sleep, instead pulling Remus's hand to him and licking at it gently to try and soothe it. "I'd rather be awake with you," he murmured.

Sirius snuggled against him and closed his eyes, not really asleep but not really awake either. Before he knew it, he was regaining conciousness because his stomach was grumbling so loudly.
