Leaf touched noses with Dark, then tried to listen with the ear. he was right.... its gone.... Leaf said in her head. "Are... are the kits ok?"

"They're fine just really worried about you,"Dark said.

"Oh... o-ok.... i-i should see them..." Leaf said, getting up.

"Here you can lean on me if you want to,"Dark said and moved closer to Leaf.

Leaf shook her head. "i'm... i'm fine..." she said, then started walking, but trips over something when she was outside the den.

Dark helpped Leaf back up and walked beside her.

Leaf walked beside Dark, leaning on him occasionally. Then they made it to the kit-mothers' den. Wave saw Leaf and Dark, then ran up to them. "momma! daddy!" Then Wave saw Leaf's cobweb wrapping on her face. "Momma? Are you ok?"

Pebble walked up to them "Wave whats wrong?"he asked.

"Momma has cobwebs all over her left eye and left ear.... Momma? What happened?..." Wave asked.

Pebble sat down and tried to smell the cobwebs.

Leaf couldn't say anything. "I can't tell them! I... just can't..." Leaf said to Dark quietly.
