Preparing for a few games for tomorrow, it's going to be Kill Team and Combat Patrol, it will be fun to see if the Thallax can perform. Sadly, one of the guys showing up is an Eldar player and to boot, a WAAC. So, just to play it safe, a backup KT force: five storm troopers and a Taurox Prime, because I'm not looking forward to him arguing about everything ad nauseum. talk2hand

I have started thinking of an idea lately.
Essentially it is Wargame-style game based on the Changeling attack in A Canterlot Wedding.
Practically, it starts as the Mane 6 rushes out to get the Elements of Harmony, and a few turns in, a set number or random, the protection shield is destroyed, and the Minions may enter.
The Changeling Minions may seem unending in numbers, but they really isn't, and this idea includes to show both those things.
In addition to the Mane 6 as a group, there is a few individuals here and there, like Octavia and Derpy (Yes, for this game the fanwork animations by Kanashiipanda is canon), as well as pairs and squads of the Canterlot Guard.
Most individuals are NOT as good as a Guard, although Octavia might be an exception.
Also, the Wonderbolts may arrive as reinforcements (as they have been out scouting for trouble).
There should be some rule for "Feeding", and even though the game is probably set so that the changelings will get expelled anyway, it may still be a draw or even a win if they managed to feed enough before that.
.... I felt I had to write this idea out somewhere, where someone may read it, it somehow felt wrong or pretentious to write it out anywhere else.

I just discovered the newest most ridiculous whine about 40K. A guy over on Warseer is all up in arms because the new 32mm bases are a tiny bit thicker than the 28mm bases. Another guys has sworn to quit 40K over the new bases. I know GW players whine, but this is just getting stupid.
