No you, you you. I still really need to find the time to delve into both good and proper, though so far Conquest is an amazing piece of work that gives good fluff (including the origins of Port Maw), a robust campaign system with new missions, themed force organisation charts and battlezones, two extra army lists (Solar Auxiliaries and the Questoris Knights a.k.a. knights who have joined the Crusade for personal glory), relics of the Dark Age for each Legion (and other factions) and plenty of other stuff. Paying twelve quid extra for this special edition wasn't a bad idea either, as the slipcase looks great and the reference sheets are a welcome addition, seeing as the Horus Heresy introduces a metric ******** of new weapons, special rules and whatnot. I like the book so much I foolishly put in an order for a Veletaris Storm Section, because I want me a squad of Volkite Chargers. As for the Judge Dredd stuff, the miniatures look like they're older than me with horrible mold lines running across faces, vents and tabs on annoying locations (the hands, face and other delicate places..), the quick-start guide is useless (this appears to be a recurring theme with Warlord Games) and the rulebook is nicely done, but not really laid out in a clear and concise way, or beginner friendly, as special rules are not listed in either the glossary or the table of contents, which led to a merry twenty minutes wasted trying to find a specific special rule that was for some reason listed under a themed army list instead of say, the special rules section. Also, the game doesn't come with any dice. Normally not a problem, but seeing as it uses D10's, this may cause some trouble with new players.

Every once in a while the stars align and a Kickstarter does deliver not just on time, but with the promised quality: A Rolls Royce armoured car and a MK V male tank by Trenchworx. Not sure what to use them for yet, these will not be bastardized for 40k though, maybe for a 20's era pulp game or something along those lines.

Merry Christmas! .... It was quite some time since I posted here ... so I almost dread to ask, as it may have been commented on elsewhere: I thought I heard some rumours, or did I just dream it? Is GW getting back on track, albeit slowly, or has nothing changed?

I´d say it´s stabeling slowly, but remains to be seen.Hugs. ^-^

I got both a plastic gunship and a box of those new Centurion Devastators recently...Those is even bigger than Terminators ... mainly because I liked the looks of them. Ok, I had another huge reason for getting the gunship, but ... i'll see if that project goes anywhere at all. * Hugs back * ^_^
