After Leaf was in the den, the healer motioned for Dark to leave for a bit. "I'll need you to leave for now. Let me deal with this..." the healer said.

Dark didn't say anything but turned and headed for his and Leafs kits.

Wave saw Dark coming. "Dad!" Then she saw Leaf wasn't with him. "daddy? where's momma?"

The healer turned to Leaf. Then got to work, hoping she could save Leaf's eye and ear.

The healer was done, but she couldn't save Leaf's eye or ear. The healer sighed, then left Leaf to rest. The healer started walking towards the kit mother's den.

Dark sighed "Leafs fine shes just a bit hurt that's all,"

"oh... ok," Wave said, then she saw the healer. "hey... there is the healer..."

The healer came up to Dark. "dark?... can i... speak to you?" the healer asked.

Dark nodded then followed the healer outside where the kits were.

Wave looked confused, then she turned to Pebble. "I wonder whats wrong..."

The healer sighed. "I'm sorry Dark. Leaf will survive, but her left eye and left ear couldn't be saved. I'm sorry..."

Dark sighed "At least she'll still be with me,"

"true, but i'm not sure how the kits will handle it..." the healer said.

Leaf woke up, but she couldn't see in her left eye, which the area whas covered in cobwebs. Her left ear felt funny too. "What... what happened?"

Wave was getting impatient, but just paced again.

Pebble 'watched' Wave as she paced around.
"Can I at least see her now?"Dark said.

The healer nodded. "ok, but for now, the wound is wrapped up and so is the reminants of the ear," the healer said.

"Ugh... I WANT TO SEE LEAF!" Wave said, still pacing.

Dark walked into the healers den and sat next to Leaf.

The healer followed Dark into the den, but just sat next to the herbs and sorted through them.

Leaf turned to see Dark next to her through her right eye. "Dark? What happened? There was the badger... I think i was hit... then... then i don't remember anything..." Leaf said.

"Don't worry your going to be fine you just lost an eye and an ear,"Dark said.

Leaf looked shocked. "What... what? I... i lost my... eye and ear?..." she said, horrified.
