[Marcus and Company enter from Underworld] ~ɱąՐʗυՏ ℈ɠσs~ The sound of an elevator could be heard as Marcus and his team of digimon arose from the depths of the mountain. The first signs of natural light stung a bit as they hit Marcus's face, proof that he'd been in darkness for too long. As the lift can to a stop and the mechanical doors opened, Marcus stepped off and stretched. "So I guess we're off to find these ruins or something, right?""Indeed, Chaosdramon was one of our fellow comrades that was laid to rest because our previous leader was not strong enough to tame him." The chaosPiedmon would step off the lift and stand next to Marcus, gazing over the horizon. "I'm quite surprised that someone else was keeping up with his whereabouts. I had nearly forgotten about that brute.""And what is to happen in case Marcus, sorry about this pupil, is not able to contain this beast's power?" The lion digimon, Leomon would behind the group with the black colored gaomon on his shoulder. "That's quite easy, Mugen will eat him alive and rampage across the land until he either runs out of juice or someone better removes him from existence." Paramiere, the Guilmon would stand on the other side of Marcus with her scaly arms crossed. "It took quite a few lives to contain him last time someone thought they had the guts and turned out to be false." She would toss a glance in up at Marcus. "While I wouldn't say that he's stronger that that Lucemon at Spiral Castle, he is quite formidable.""I see." With doubt coming from him at all sides, Marcus would find himself taking to silence once more. His hands would ball up into fists as he continued to stare in silence. "AYE!!! Knock with all this failure and junk! If my Bro says that he can do it, then he can!!" The gaomon sitting on Leomon would start to have a miniature tantrum, flailing red glows in the air. "We just have to back him up when the time comes!" His words would cause Marcus to look up and at him. He would respond by throwing a thumbs up at the boy, "Even though I have little to no idea what's going on anymore, I support you as your partner, alley, and friend.""Thanks, Gaomon." He would smirk at the dog digimon with chaotic orange eyes.

 "If we head for the future..."

"...Then we can be forgiven for the past." The sun bounced off Kazu's glasses as he lay spreadout on a rock. "Why do we always get lost out in the most barren of places?" It was true, Kazu and Veemon were lost... Again. It seemed no matter how many times they visited a place they could never remember thee way back. "Well at least we found that water pool..." Kazu shot Veemon a harsh look, "Yeah and we were chased away from it by a herd of Tortomon... Bloody nora." Kazu got to his feet and squinted around, there was a rocky outcrop above him and nothing but winding paths and a birds eye view of the Gear Savanah. He sighed and rubbed his forehead, trying to think of their next move when he heard a strange grating noise, familiar but strange. "Kazu?" Veemon fell silent as his Tamer raised a finger to his lips and listned. The noise stopped and the sound of doors sliding open finally dropped the penny on what the noise was. "An Elevator? Then we're near the entrance to The Underworld! Bugger we're in the totally wrong place!"Kazu stood and looked up at the outcrop, waiting for the user of the lift to appear, he was hoping to ask for directions to a city. Maybe Network City, or Toy and Tama Town. But as the person riding the lift stepped out Kazu felt a pressure, a presence like no other It was like the wind had been knocked out of him as he remembered the person who had made him feel this way before. He remained silent, his face set wide-eyed and horrified. He could hear talking, multiple voices, he couldn't make out him. Not being able to see Kazu's eyes very well and understand his silence, Veemon yelled out; "Hey! Do you guys know the way to, urgh!" Before he could finish, Kazu had grabbed Veemon's mouth and flung himself and his partner behind a rock. Panting, hoping that he hadn't heard Kazu released Veemon's mouth and whispered "It's Marcus..." Those two words alone were enough to silence Veemon and cause him to shrink back against the rock. On the inside Kazu was kicking himself. Despite all that had happened since He'd died he still didn't have the courage to face Marcus. He was just as scard as he had been that day. "C'mon kid. So what if he killed you once? You got back up again right? It's good to be afraid, if you weren't then you would lose the very essence of being human." The words drifted through Kazu's head as if they were real. "Lief's right. Fear is natural... We can't run from our fears but face them." Veemon looked at his Tamer as though he were crazy. "But just to be clear. We're not going to start anything right?" Kazu looked to his partner and smiled. "No, we'll see if he notices us. If so then we'll just have to improvise. If he doesn't then we can wait for him to leave and we can go the other way. Sound good?" Veemon nodded furiously and returned to being silent. Kazu took a deep sigh and leaned on the rock. "Your move... Marcus."

[] ~ɱąՐʗυՏ ℈ɠσs~"Will you stop being so formal?!" The gaomon would exclaim. "I have a name you know, a name that you gave me, remember?" The dog digimon would groan notices that somethings would never change back to how they used to be. He slightly missed the old Marcus, but liked the drive of the new one a whole lot more. Marcus would turn away from the digimon, preparing to descend down the mountainous path. "Destin, right?" He would look forward and start to walk. "I'll have to remember that from now on.""You'd better, or this new thing going on will be going down." The dog digimon would have a cocky tone in his voice and punched one hand into the other. His ears would perk upward at the sound of shifting rocks in the distance. "Aye, Hiro... you hear that?"Having already grown used to Destin's continuous fidgeting, the lion-like digimon would look up at the dog on his shoulder. "The rocks? Yeah, probably just a coincidence.""I guess so, but I could have sworn I heard something else before that... like a voice or something." The digimon would look around, scanning the valley. If he were a Zeedgarurumon, he would be able to find the source without any hint of difficulty. "Probably only imagining things." the lion would chuckle and start to follow behind Marcus and the other two digimon. "Master Marcus, have you looked at the map yet? If we're going to hunt down Chaosdramon, we need to have an idea on where we're going." Cadaiver would cross his arms, keeping pace with Marcus and would glance down at the boy. In a single motion, Marcus's custom digivice would be moved from his waist to his hand with the sound of buttons being pressed. "Good question..." He'd continue to work the buttons till a projection of a map released from the miniature screen. It would display where they were at the moment as well as point at where they would need to head next. "Apparently, we're going to be going to going to multiple places. Any reason why?""The 5 keys of 'The End' no doubt." The guilmon would make herself known to the group as he was the shortest aside from gaomon. Marcus would stop mid-step and look at the lizard digimon. "The what?"

"...Then we can be forgiven for the past." Kazu would freeze as he hard a voice ponder about their presence. He let out a sigh of relief as another dismissed them. He let out a sigh and pushed his head against the rock he was hiding behind and opened his ears to the conversation. All he could make out was mumbling about maps and some kind of hunt. He strained his ears and, finally, he could make out a single statement. "The 5 keys of 'The End' no doubt."Veemon was huddled up to Kazu's side, memories of the last time they had fought Marcus hit him hard. It had ended badly to say the least, which made the fact Kazu wasn't running for the hills all the more confusing. Kazu seemed to notice the change in his partners demenour and put his arm around him, "It's ok buddy... I won't go leaving you again." He gave a quiet chuckle, more to calm himself then anything. "So these 5 keys... What are they?" Kazu peeked over the top of the rock, just about enough to see the group above. Marcus looked different, Kazu couldn't put his finger exactly on what but thre was a definate differance to him. He stood next to four Digimon, all of which exerted their own air of power. One in particular, the guilmon sent a shiver down Kazu's spine, he'd fought her before at the Endless Mountain and it had ended in a messy draw that had annihalated most of the mountain. "What're you up to?" he murmered.

[] ~ɱąՐʗυՏ ℈ɠσs~"Come now, let us walk and talk at the same time." Cadaiver would take the lead as they continued to walk down. The group would only manage to draw closer to where Kazu and his digimon were hiding, but there would still be rather oblivious to signs of an eavesdropper. "In order to successfully seal the beast, his body and power was divided in fifths and then hidden till it came time for the next Chaos Lord to take the throne. Now it would appear that it is your turn."Marcus would look from the guilmon to the chaospiedmon. "So... even though I don't carry the digisoul of the ChaosLord, I'm still considered... that guy?" Marcus would be slightly confused and would look back to Gaomon and Leomon for support, only to be met with a shrug of similar confusion from the two of them. "Oh, you still have it... it's just not inside of you at the moment." The clown would gesture towards Marcus's digivice. "That little digitamamon that came from within you has that very soul coursing throughout its body.""Wait... how did that happen?" Marcus would stop and pull his digivice out to look at it. 'While Lucemon was looking at it and admiring, that little bugger ate it and it was because of Cadaiver's words that the digimon wasn't instantly destroyed."

"...Then we can be forgiven for the past." Kazu ducked back behind his rock as Marcus' group moved closer to his hiding place. The talk became more confusing but Kazu began to piece the picture together. Marcus was next in line for some linage of, what the clown called, "Chaos Lords" "Sounds shifty." Kazu whispered under his breath. Veemon nodded quickly and resumed his huddle into Kazu's side. The conversation delved into more confusing talk, something about Marcus not having a certian Digisoul. This puzzled Kazu, the man infront of him certianly had Digisoul the last time they'd met, he clutched his chest remembering. It wasn't until the Guilmon mentioned Lucemon did Kazu understand. He remembered his meeting with the Chaos Lord and what he'd been through, of his own choice. If Marcus was missing something then it was Lucemon that had taken it. He'd barely escaped the utter despair and darkness the Demon Lord had exposed him too, it had almost cost him his friends and his own humanity and that was with his stupid clish'e values of friendship and hope. For someone like Marcus, Kazu assumed it would have been tough. There was mention of some crature a "bugger" as th guilmon called it, that had eaten whatever Marcus had lost. "Hmph, I thought I was th only guy who said that..." Kazu helf Veemon closer as the group neared. Pressing his back against the rock, he could fl he was on the verge of discovering something big, exactly what he didn't know but he was going to find out, and that meant staying put.

Cadaiver would stop and pivot till he was standing in front of Marcus with his finger on Marcus's chest. "With that in mind, you should more than likely come to master what is inside of you now if we are to hunt down more souls for Lucemon. I would find it quite hilarious to get in a fight and your abilities not work as you last recalled them to be.""Woah there clown. Hold on a second! You're talking way too fast! First, you tell me that I have to learn to control some ridiculous beast and then tell me that I'm not me?!" Marcus could fill a little anger starting to spark within him, but the feeling that came with it was not what he was used to. "You're... you're not making any sense!!" A gray colored aura would start to manifest weakly around his body. Marcus would start to huff and puff almost as if this lite aura was draining him of his natural energy. "Hey, Marcus? You... you feeling alright?" The gaomon would have a look of concern as he watched the foreign soul color start to appear. He, just as all of the others, could feel it starting to flow into them, it was indeed a foreign feeling that was shared between tamer and digimon. "Of course he's not." The Guilmon, now synced with Marcus, could feel it, but her high tolerance was allowing her to manage. "Boy, it would be wise for you to calm down. It's not telling what this artificial soul will do to you at your current level of inexperience with it. Cadaiver and I are just repeating what was told to us by its creator.""I've heard of those, artificial souls made by high class digimon as a way of trying to replicate the same effects to use for themselves." Leomon's voice would offer assurance to those that heard. It would be great news to hear that there was one that was familiar with this new technology. "Last I heard it was a rumor and deemed impossible. I also heard that the Royal Knights themselves were given the task of stopping all further tests because it involved the use of mixing both a human digisoul and a digimon's digicore. I guess being a Demon Lord gives you certain judicial immunities, hmph.""Woah, this is all to much for me!" Both human and digimon would say at the same time. "Wait... but if it involves mixing, does that mean... I'm part digimon now?""Possibly... Like I said, it was just a rumor going around a long time ago, like before I met you." The leomon would being to ponder on the possibility. He began to recall how Marcus had been, up until recently, had a digitama living inside of him and then recalled Marcus being able to merge with his digimon in a method quite different from Biomerging. Could Marcus have become one of the few that could bridge between human and digimon? "The best way to tell would be to acquire an ancient warrior spirit and see how receptive you are to that.""You mean like those spirits that turned humans into digimon? Like Kyo's spirit of wood and Kiro's spirit of thunder?" The sound of yet another task placed a heavy burden on Marcus, but it was a more tangible one. One that he could easily accomplish. He took a deep breath and began to calm down, easing the tension that caused his digisoul to resonate. "Exactly." He would throw an untrusting glare at the to digimon, "Before we go jumping into situations, we should find the limits and maximums of your current power."Gaomon's ears would shift at the sound of voices, a lot closer than before. "HEY!!!" The dog would call out abruptly into the distance. Marcus's attention as well as the attention of the others would move in the direction that Gaomon had called out. "Is someone here?"

"...Then we can be forgiven for the past." At the shout Kazu froze in place. "Well? What now?" Kazu shook his head at his partner, on the one hand he could play it off and keep hiding, trying to escape if needs be. On the other hand he could face Marcus, try and talk things through. "Yeah like that'll work..." He sighed. Either way he could see this as going badly. "Bugger..."Kazu go to his feet, his back to Marcus and his team, his arms raised, he slowly wheeled around and walked out from behind his hiding place, Veemon right behind him. "Good to see you... Marcus." Kazu droppd his arms and lowerd his glasses enough so that he could see his rival eye to eye. Something was different about him for sure, but he couldn't place it exactly, his heart was in his mouth at seeing his murdrer again. Pushing the glasses back onto his face Kazu gave a slight grin, "So how've you been since you killed me?"

[] ~ɱąՐʗυՏ ℈ɠσs~Marcus would be taken aback as the tamer and his digimon made their presence know. He would become cautious, wondering how much of their conversation had been heard. As the boy spoke to him, he found himself confused. "Good to see you... too?" He would be puzzled, too bothered by the previous load of information to make out who this boy actually was and how he knew him. The kid seemed familiar to him, but he could not recall neither where nor when they had met, let alone a name for this somewhat cocky sounding individual. Destino would slightly recognize the boy's scent as the one that they had met so long ago in Vaccine Sentinal Tower. He would more than likely be the only one to recognize as at the time of meeting, he was the only one that was in their right mind. "So I guess that wasn't just a noise that I heard." He would throw a glare at Leomon's head and then go back into staring down the boy and his Veemon. "It would seem that we have a bit of a eavesdropper, Master Marcus." Cadaiver would jump to the opportunity with lip-licking pleasure. Reaching under his cloak, he would reveal a sharp 5 inch throwing knife. "Shall I disperse of him?""Cadaiver, back down for a moment." Ignoring Kazu's question, Marcus would shift to an interrogative mode, crossing his arms and glazing down the rocky mountain to face his shaded adversary. "I'll ask the questions here... Who are you and how long have you been here?"Leomon would move closer to Marcus in case this individual would turn out to be their first target. He would slowly move his right hand behind him to grab a hold of his blade.

Kauz re-enters the digital world, and Tentomon flys out of his resting area in the cave he has coded into his home
Kauz:"Its been to long Tentomon"
Tentomon:" It definately has, Kauz, how are you?"
Kauz:"Ok, still worried about my brother"
Tentomon:"Lets resume our quest to find him!"
Kauz:"Ok then lets go!"
Kauz and Tentomon walk out of the door to his cave, and see Marcus and Kazu below them, in the forest
Kauz:"Lets see if i can gather any information from them then"
Tentomon:"Ok, ill begin recording"

"...Then we can be forgiven for the past." Marcus' ignorance threw Kazu for a curveball. He hadn't been expecting that. Could he use this to his advantage? Or would this hinder him? As he thought things through Marcus asked him a question, there would be an awkward silence for about 10 seconds as Kazu stood still, his smirk had vanished and he just stood there. "Mmm... Well if you really want to know... I'm Kazu, Kazu Matsumoto. Or you could call me the V-Tamer, I'm partial to both." Kazu mulled over the second part of Marcus's question, "As for how long I've been here..." He cast his eyes over to his abrupt re-entry into this time-zone "... In relation to your arrival on the mountain, the very begining."Veemon now stood by Kazu's side his eyes darting from each of Marcus' Digimon. Two of which had reached for a weapon of sorts. Kazu had also clocked the aggression and moved one foot slowly backwards in anticipation. "I guess you could say I heard everything, but if I'm being honest with you I didn't understand a word. All I know is; It sounds bad." Kazu allowed his hand to casually fall to his Digivice, he didn't do anything, just kept it there incase it was needed. "And only one person asking questions is a tad unfair no? What if I asked exactly who you were? It'd be interesting to see how faithful Lucemon's words abou you were." As soon as he said it Kazu regretted his statement, but if he had Marcus on his own like this what better way to figure him out could there be? He'd heard of Marcus' ordeals from Lucemon, he'd gathered bits and pieces of his personality through their breif encounters in the War of Memories and then at Vaccine Sentinal Tower he had witnessed his vicious intent. But none of this could beat the word from the horse's mouth. If he didn't at least try now, he'd probably never get the chance again lest they come to battle.

 Nicholas Jones Blitz - George - Bob - Magnum - Ganondorf Nicholas walks through the mountains and sees a boy and his tentomon inside. He raises an eyebrow and walks over next to him and looks down to see a fight. He raised an eyebrow and wondered who those people could be. The three silhouettes that followed him watched from a distance as they observed his every move. Each had different goals as to why they were there. One was to protect Nicholas. The other to train with Nicholas. And the final just followed cause it felt extremely bored. Nicholas looked at the boy on the side and asked, "So what is their story?". Blitz and George just stayed where they were before. Blitz on Nicholas' head and George in Nicholas' backpack. ((ooc: *Whistles* ))

OOC:[Daggum, let's get straight to the point then... rofl ] ~ɱąՐʗυՏ ℈ɠσs~Cadaiver and Paramiere would toss suspicion out the window when Kazu questioned Marcus's relationship with Lord Lucemon. They quickly took the front figuring that a fight for silence was sure to follow. The two digimon would step forward on either side of Marcus, leaving Leomon and Gaomon to take the back, unaware as to whether or not Veemon was the only one accompanying the 'V-Tamer.' At the end of Kazu's last comment, Marcus knew for a fact that this kid new way more than he needed to know. "Heh, same here, but I guess you're one of my targets then. You know too much." As if by instantaneous mood change, Marcus would point a gloved finger at Kazu, allowing his blue and black vest-cloak-thing (?) to wave behind him. Marcus still had yet to figure where he knew this character from, but... he had a hunch about a major detail about something. "Well Kazu, I'm Marcus Egos and the fact that you know of Lucemon would mean that you're a potential threat." While potentially heading into a monologue, something clicked in Marcus's head, a question that would further determine the flow of this awkward conversation. "You have a digisoul, don't you?" he would ask in a manner that would suggest that he already knew, even though he didn't know for sure.

Kauz and Tentomon drop down the cliffside, slowly worn away from multiple travels up and down it
they land behind a large tree and bush, and dive to the floor
Kauz sad whispering)"you still recording?"
Tentomon sad wispering)"yeash..."

Partner:Wraith Shawn and Wraith were hiking along the mountain, both silent as the traveled. Not knowing what to say or even what to do, Shawn had just remained silent. Looking down at the little stout orange dinosaur, who had just recently met, Shawn was still getting used to the whole idea of another world and even bigger creatures than that of Wraith.
"So do you know where we are?" Shawn said breaking the silence.
"I believe file mountain. We should be warry of where go." Wraith, the newly partnered Agumon suggested.
"Why is that?" Shawn quickly asked curiousity taking fold.
"Depending on what terriotory we're in we could be in a dangerous situation."
"No ******** way, but you can kick there asses right?!" Shawn said with a smirk on his face hoping Wraith would say 'Yes'.
"Yeah, but I'd rather not have to, I don't want you to be in danger." He said as he walked ahead to survey the area.
It was then that Shawn himself saw another Human, a red headed male with green eyes. "No way another human?!" Shawn exclaimed a bit excited to see that he wasn't the only person in this place. "Hey you! Over there with the red hair." Shawn called out. Wraith quickly turned around to his partner and then jumped to his side just in case the male had digimon with him and turned hostile.
