Today, while randomly looking through photo albums in the closet, I found a picture of my mom when she was like... 7. *Does math on fingers* Ok, 9. She's in front of a lake with three trout/bass/spoonbill/fish of some sort that she has obviously just caught. She's wearing a trek shirt... 0_o

It's an (OLD) inside joke.
When they first made the Gaian Guild system, a few of us made a Star Trek Guild.
Then one day the admin erased all the posts and content, and told us moderators that it was now a guild on the evils of Muslim Extremism.

So, we all went off and formed this guild.

Then one day the admin erased all the posts and content, and told us moderators that it was now a guild on the evils of Muslim Extremism.

So, we all went off and formed this guild.

Does that guild still exist? I remember when he first kicked us out, there was just one other person in there who was talking to him about it. I think they knew each other in real life. It was pretty sad. xd

Actually, I think I'll go look for that guild right now. I'm curious...

He decided (without consulting any of us, mind you) that he didn't like it anymore, didn't think it was active enough (even though he barely ever posted), and that he would rather talk about Muslim Extremism (which nobody's interested in) than Star Trek. stressed Yeah, it was very cruel and very unusual. And I was co-creator of the guild, so you can bet I was pissed.

(Just to be clear, this was the Captain/Admin of the guild, not Gaia Admin)

In all fairness,
this was post-9/11 and some of the stuff thereafter,
so it's possible his conscience demanded he do SOMETHING.

This particular "something" seems casual and capricious,
and grossly unfair to those of us who had contributed
time and Gaia gold to the guild,
of course...

Having said all that, can we get off the subject?
Gossip on dead issues from 2 years ago or whatever depresses me...

What do you guys think of all these new changes to Gaia? I'm still up in the air on whether I like the new mouths, but I do like that you can change your expression when you feel like it. Oh, and for some reason, I've never been able to get Towns to work... I want flowers and bugs, damn it!
