yea I saw that video
pissed me off so much
yea I know they wern't actually making fun of MCR but rather the guy who played Kramer on Seinfeld but still I couldn't help but be pissed off by it. with the people the picked to portray the boys of MCR they may as well have been making fun of them as well in my opinion

that has got to be the most RETARDED sketch I have ever seen on madtv. They also made their Gerard look bad!!!! It's like this saying I made up "If you're gonna do something wrong, do it right!!!!" scream That video was also crappy too

I thought it was halarious. It wasnt realy makeing fun of MCR it was just a joke. It was makeing fun of them sort of, but it was just useing them to make fun of a current event. But I think that it is a compliment, It shows that MCR is big enough and cool enough to be used in and made fun of in MAD.
I realy liked it ever since I first saw it on that episode of MAD.

You all have to lighten up. We all have to laugh at ourselves (and those we love) occasionally. It's just a joke; and besides, I don't think they made Gee fat on purpose; that actor is just a bit chubby, is all. Don't be so serious all the time!

Jueru I hated it, especially how they made Gerard fat, because he did used to be, as he put it "the fat kid" and it made him feel terrible. Poor Gerard. cry same reason! just because he used to be fat doesnt mean that you need to keep making fun of him! that pissed me off and the fact that, that music video was very powerful as their "return" video, madTv does not have any reason to make fun of it! it was stupid and tasteless! LEAVE GERARD WAY ALONE! AND LEAVE MICKEY WAY ALONE! SO WHAT IF THEY WERE FAT KIDS IN SCHOOL?! i think they were cute even then! i call them fluffy not fat! so piss off madTv! scream

I don't really think they were making fun of MCR. They were making fun of the guy that palyed Kramier on Sinefield for what he said. They use a lot of other bands and they're songs because THEY can't think of something original.Sothey pick a popular song, pick a topic, and write the words. I didn't think that video was funny at all anyways but I don't find it offencive.

I also think they weren't targetting Gerard for being overweight. It just feel into palce like that. That guy MIGHT have been the oonly on either 1. Willing to do it or 2. he just had to play the part. This is just a HUNCH though. I can't really say if they truly ment to make fun of them or not. Im not taking sides but I just think we shouldn't jump to conclusions without REALLY knowing what they ment by that video
