Me too. I know there is a lot of yuri in japan, mainly it has female readers. Its just a matter of them releasing it outside of japan. Although i have heard that there is going to be a company releasing yuri in american and the uk, due to the popularity of yaoi. Interesting, ne?

I highly prefer yaoi over yuri. I've got nothing against it but I'd never want to look at anything yuri-related. I'm all for yaoi/slash and that sort of thing sweatdrop

I'm straight but I have to admit yuri is really adorable. It has this sensitive innocence and can really be quite beautiful. And let's face it - most girls are prettier than guys.

But I love yaoi so much. XD the whole protective manly-man x innocent girly-boy plot is one of the sexiest things ever and I can't get enough @v@[/fangirl]

For me, just opinion, I prefer yaoi over yuri. The first thing that became my reason, which had come into me waaayyy long ago, was that I am female and I don't like seeing girls doing girls. But it came to me that it was okay, seeing that I like yaoi, which is practically the opposite of yuri.

Main reason now is the lack of everything. The lack of good art, lack of good plot and much more. I'm not saying that it doesn't have anything, but, it just doesn't have enough of one thing. For example, plot. Yes, yuri has plot, but sometimes it just comes out so blurry that no one can ever imagine what the plot is.

Nyah, too much now. Let's get straight to the point, I prefer YAOI over yuri. Thank you.

I like Yuri, but I like Yaoi more. I think the inconsistency is because yuri is aimed at Straight men, while Yaoi is aimed at straight women. And what do these audiences want? Obviously, most men just want eye candy, it doesn't even have to be that pretty, so long as there's action. Women, howver, demand beautiful young boys, an exciting plot line, deep characters. and action.

Also, there are simply fewer people who watch Yuri. Most straight guys will just pick an ordinary porno if they wanna see some boobs. But because the females in most pornos are intimidating (have huges breasts, have screentime on them but not the guy, and are viewed as objects) girls turn to yaoi.
