no, they count as death company. HQ choice, and the ONLY marine squad that can ever exceed 10 men in 3rd edition.
o.O so you make it a squad of five for an HQ CHOICE??!?!?!? WHATS WRONG WITH YOU???????
no non o..
Blood Angel Chaplain is accompanied by D3+3 death company at no cost, but the chaplain costs 180 points. Before the start of the game, roll a dice for each squad on the table. On the roll of a 4 or 5, one model from that squad joins death company. On a 6, one joins and you roll again for that squad. They can have a free rhino, or jump packs at no extra cost.
If you have 20 5-mans instead of 10 10-mans, you double your potential death company.
you can only have 6 squads max. stare

says who? if you're having a 40,000 point battle to last days... You'd run out of options.
eh, the limit is 6 troop choices on the F.O.C.

exactly unless you are playing a game so large that you need an extra force org sheet. But even then that won't unbalance the game as you are suggesting Cagalli.
I rely on numbers. most marine players use the sit back and fire til the enemy dies of boredom tactic.
I don't buy ANY upgrades. Swarms of bolter marines, one chaplain with some wargear. That's all there is. The death company have rapid jet pack maneuvering, an attack bonus and a 4+ contingency save (not invulnerable, just a re-save) and so I try to get as MANY bolter marines there as possible to increase their survivability. Then I simply run them all forward, suffocating the table of life. 3nodding occasionally, a 5-man scout team with 4 snipers shows up.

Someone stole my tactic? Bastards.
Did they use the "massed 5-man army" plan?

I go with the assualt and unloading-rhinos-behind-enemy-lines tactics xd

Why? You could deploy by drop pods and save the risk of being shot coming up. neutral

Because drop pods l;and in random places. You never get the units where they're needed.

That depends on your craftworld and units. Before the craftworld codex, the plan would work 90% of the time unless they were a gravtank whore and took the maximum of them.

I didn't have any grav tanks and I was using a standard codex army not craft world. So do you want the result?

I'd say your rangers were toast and the warp spiders took damage, but not a whole lot else happened.
