Kailta Out of all of my friends, I'd say only two like yaoi. crying same here....only about two of my friends are yaoi(well actually more like BL/Shounen-ai) fans. One's my best friend and the other...well I said several times at AX that I thought that we shared a brain(She's the Gravi fan I talk about later in this post) *sighs* but one of my friends said that she thinks her brother (who could be mistaken for a girl apparently though I've never seen him[as far as I know] and I've known this friend for years, many years) and his friend like each other(in that way, I guess) and she wants to get them together. And she says she hates yaoi too (or BL in general, I suppose). Although, the last night of anime expo, another one of my friends and I watched Gravitation on her(the friend with the effeminate brother) PS2 and she just sat there. I think she mighta been reading manga so....but the TV was really close to the end of the bed and she was sitting right at the end of the bed and directly in front of the TV so I think she had no choice but to at least listen to it. and it was in set in the english dub............. evil evil evil EEEEEEEEVVVVIIIIILLLLL ENGLISH DUB!!!!!!!!!!!! IT RUINED GRAVITATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IT NEEDS TO BUUUUUUURRRRRNNNNNNN!!!!! burning_eyes burning_eyes burning_eyes burning_eyes burning_eyes burning_eyes burning_eyes burning_eyes burning_eyes burning_eyes burning_eyes *dumps a bucket of water on herself* whew.......okay I'm done................ stressed stressed stressed stressed stressed stressed stressed stressed stressed stressed stressed

We all kinda got sucked in at once. Okay, I'm lying, I was a little slow catching on to teh hotness. But pretty much all of us are obsessed. That includes the boys. Although the girls cringe when one of our guy friends gushes about his Harry/Ron(we're all heavy on the Harry/Draco thing).

>> sadly to say, im the last one in my entire group of friends to be converted into a yaoi lover. >> but to answer the questions, only the friends that are guys (which.... are only... three people) do not like yaoi.

I don't have any close friends in RL anyway, let alone friends that like yaoi. xd The friends I do have think that anime is boring and childish though, so they aren't really good ones. But a couple did hunt down my art on dA and either didn't look in the gallery properly, or don't mind it. sweatdrop
I don't really think anime/manga has hit England strongly enough yet (at least in my current area) to spark much interest in yaoi- at my old school of 700, only one other person properly liked anime. emo

I have a couple of friends like it IRL and just about all my female friends online love it xd
I also have two teenage daughters and they love it as well. We'd sit around together with potato chips and dip and watch Gravitation all day heart

One of my friends (whom is basicaly a lesbian with the exception of Johnny Depp and the occassional anime character) likes it, and helped me get addicted to it. Another friend of mine.... is starting to...
For instance, last night I was yelling at the characters from Pandect to rape each other, and she said "If there's rape I wanna see."
In the past couple days I've had at least three male friends and mebbe two female friends call me sick/disgusting, and most of my other friends I haven't really talked to since I got into it. (But they will probably do the same once school starts again. x_x;)
