My mom kinda knows I'm into Yaoi, though she doesn't know what it's called.

I squealed when I heard about Brokeback Mountain, and she didn't care. She's seen me draw pics of guys together, and hasn't really said anything. Although that might be because my ukes look like girls to her sweatdrop

My dad, though, that's another matter. He'd freak out if he knew. He has never caught me, but I think he gets suspicious sometimes. For some reason, he thinks reading about gay dudes is freaky. I once was reading my Haru Wo Daiteita scans while he was right next to the computer, but not in front of the screen. Boy, am I daring! rofl

i dunno D: my mom is just...weird. she totally ignored the 18+ label and was just like 'i got these for you while i was in singapore (sp?) and i was like "O_O;"

OMG, i'f i know a mom, they tend to notice a lot, and she probably looked through it and at it, if i were you, i'd be carefull, it could be a test, moms are moms, but still clever if i know anything, som just a word of advice, beware the mom ninja

My mom actually caught me writing a hot Yaoi scene online and she was like "Jade...what are you doing?"

Me: *Jumps in surprise becuase she didnt hear her coming in her room* Uh...Im writing? *Bits lip*

Mom: *Sneakily reads what I'm writing and her eyes widen in shock* W-What is that? *Points to that hot Yaoi scene on the computer screen*

Me: Um...It's called Yaoi mom...*Blushes*

Mom: What does that mean? *Raises eyebrow*

Me: Well...It means Male /ale sexual relashionships or it can mean 'No point, no climax, no meaning' *Says it with pride*

Mom: *Thinks for a moment* Okay...so why do you like this Yaoi so much?

Me: *Shrugs and continutes typing out hot lemon scene* I just think its hot *Blushes even more*

Mom: *Smiles* Okay... and how long have you been writing this...stuff?

Me: *Blushes and says in a small voice* Since I was 12? (Bear in mind I was 17 by this point so I had been writing Yaoi for 5 years without her knowing)

Mom: *Jaw drops* Oh...Well I'd rather you write that stuff than going out and doing drugs.

Me: *Laughs* Fair enough!

Mom: Just promise me that you won't show any of your half sisters that stuff...

Me: *Has fingers crossed behind her back* Pormise! *Mom leaves and I snicker evilly* Not...

True story! My mom knows and doesn't care really she lets me read/write what i like which is nice of her, though from reading A 18+Yaoi book a friend from the USA sent me, she now belives all Japanese manga and anime is Yaoi, I had to make her watch ghost in the shell to make her believe quite a lot of Anime was (Unfortunatly) Either slightly hentai or had no romantic pairings in it at all ^_^

I've never been caught, but only because I'm paranoid cautious. My parents would disown me if they found out. And I doubt saying 'that's not two guys, just a girl with a p***s' would work. (mabye on my dad) whee

I would be gutted like a fish if my parents ever saw. They would take my computer away, and lecture me on how it's a sin and how I would go to hell, and put the bible in my face, and spend more church hours, probablly pay somebody to lecture me even more that gay/yaoi and whatever is in that genre is a sin and is the devil's work. eek crying

At one time my dad and I were arguring and he said he knew everything about me, but I told him he doesn't and accidently spilled that I like yaoi, amazing enough he told me he knew. When I walked out of the house since I was mad, and had to take a walk to get some fresh air and to clear my head, my sister, mom and dad were talking. My sister was trying to defend me and it made my dad believe that I only said that because I wanted to make him more mad. Mom was still worried about what I just said. Finally my dad gave in to my sister. Ha, and there I was being truthful, but I do have some idea that my dad knows, but is kind of hiding it from my mom.

My sister knows I like it and watch porn. I only watch it when my parents aren't home esp. my dad. When I get home from school I have two hours of no parents so that's what I usually do and five minutes before they do get home I do my homework and say that I've been on my home work ever since I got home.


The summer, both my parents are at work, so I have even more free time to watch yaoi and post in the yaoi/shounen guild(s) and shounenai/yaoi sites that I love so much. Whenever I download it I quickly watch it and then delete it, but if I don't have time to watch it then I put it on cd and watch it later so my parents won't find it on my computer.

My dad checks my computer every single week, so I clear the history everytime I go on just in case I went on a site, and I don't remember. I was close in getting caught but of course thanks to the alt and tab it has saved me plenty of times. xd

I only have 3 more years to hide it. Funny thing is the whole school goes around and calls me "man porn person" and all my friends love it too, but my parents still have no idea! Kind of shocking.

I've been caught many times.

Last year, for my birthday, my friend got me the shounen-ai 'Eeri Queeri', it was my first shounen-ai manga.
I brought the manga home, with a big smile on my face after flipping through it. My mom kinda gave me this weird look, my friend by my side just looking around blankly. I told my mom that my that my friend got me a birthday gift and I flashed my mom the cover really quickly in hopes of not getting caught. But I did. My mom requested that I bring the manga to her so she could flip through it. My friend looked like she was about to die, so I pulled her away so we could talk in my room.
After a while my mom gave back the manga, just gave me a odd look and continued to watch TV.
After she knew I liked boy-love.

My dad found out the hard way.
. . . He looked at the history of our computer and read a yaoi fan fiction I wrote. XDD
I didn't know he looked at it until the next day when we all went out to eat, he told my mom that I wrote and 'X' rated fan fiction, but he was laughing the whole time. I argued with him, telling my mom it really wasn't that bad, and my dad just kept laughing.
So, he knows I like boy love too. sweatdrop

Anyway, I didn't get in trouble. They just laughed and walked away.

I've been kinda caught once... I only had a picture of AKira and Hikaru kissing up on a word doc. and my my appeared out of nowhere. I pleaded ignorance in the fact it was just a 'cartoon' (I was desperate) and luckily she bought it, though I was really panicky the entire time. That time was the reason for my new found stealthyness ninja and I have been rediculously careful since then. Luckily my parents no longer really care about the stories I read... And it helps that I'm good with the mouse! And down goes the screen... Yeah, I was soooo scared when she appeared out of nowhere, I thought I was a goner! sweatdrop
