Senjo Dark_Judje most goths of my school, live in a village close, and their parents are all into religion, one of my friends has to take off all her make-up and stuff, otherwise she isn't allowed to get into her grandmothers house... but the people of the little village all go to church every sunday... so no problem wink Yeah could not dare wear my gothic loli clothes to church... my mother would kill me...except last year on Chritmas she let me ...and every one was staring...i guess i was just too damn perty for em lol....but yeah even though im not Goth per-say ..its cool for goths to go to church...not only is it good for you its good for other people too.. u can help them break that stereotype but i never go to the church :p i don't like it there, they people always look strange at me sad you should have seen my family, when i weared my gothicdress twisted but they do like my skaterstyle smile

...being gothic means you like gothic rock...it has nothing to do with religion...so going to church is your choice

all depends on your beliefs.

I suppose it would depend on your view of church. tecnically the original gothic style (not modern century), can be seen in cathedrals all over europe.

Its perfectly fine! Its just stereotypes Saying that all goths are Devil Worshipers wich ISNT true! I mean yeah, some are but many arent. Im more of a Punk Goth and I still go to church! I dont go as much anymore not because I dont believe or because im a goth punk just because Im either REALLY busy or my family wont get out of bed! Yeah I go sometimes and if its not whith MY family its whith my friends family who are like my and and they love me like I love them! Sometimes they cant go so that means I cant but I still love the lord and I really enjoy going to church and making friends and it is pretty fun to jump around singing! biggrin I mean, You dont need to dress a certain way, or like something or anything like that to go to schurch or to love the lord! God loves you no matter what! And im SO SICK of people saying you DO have to dress a certain way or anything like that for that! There are too many people in the world who think that!

Hee, I went to a bible study earlier today.
It was funny because the lady was talking about how holloween
is such a "Devil-Worshipping Holiday" and whatnot, and how TRUE Christans don't watch horror movies and if you dress up as anything other than princesses or Superman or somethin', then you are a spawn of Satan who wants to get rid of others "Stronghold" on God.
She made me giggle.
Oh, and by the way, I'm Agnostic.

I am Agnostic, and I don't go to church..
However, It's okay for goths to go to church.. Just cuz someone is goth, emo, or w/e
doesn't mean they can't go to church..
It's sad that so many Christian churches (and otehrs as well)
try to tell goths that they are wrong..
Well newsfalsh!! The Bible states {multiple times in fact) that
"God" loves all of his "children" no matter what they do.. So that means
he loves everyone..
Even goths..

Threads like these that ask stupid questions are the reason that I have given up on people theres a select few people out there that I deem intelligent or worthy of my time and I will say that feeling the need to make a thread asking this question makes you not worthy Im sorry if my opinion hurts your feelings but bare in mind life is not fair and that my opinion is my opinion and Im free to say what I please. I felt the need to reply to this for the need to rant at the over growing stupidity in our current society not only in its youth but in the older people. I have had counseling since the age of 5 because even at 5 people bugged the crap out of me and I have anger issues and its all because of ignorance Ive observed in other people *walks away and quits guild*0 *drops back in to laugh about this* Hmm lol one person had the balls to actually say anything in response to what said. Yes I realize I have gramatical errors and a few minor spelling errors my response to your response is thanks for saying you like my rant but I think you missed my meaning of stupid.

But I am discriminated from the church i used to go to. they start to blahblah me with what i do to myself (piercings, etx) and with what i wear. >_< sigh
