Where do you buy your yaoi manga?

My mom would actually buy yaoi FOR me xd When I was under 18.

Me: Hey, mom will you pick up Shinobu Kokoro for me while you're at the mall?
Mom: *sigh* Is that another one of those comics with the men kissing?
Me: Yes! ^_^ Tohya said I should read it!

sweatdrop She'd come back with the shrink-wrap torn off and say something like

Mom: I was looking through this... really now, this is very explicit, and a little disturbing, you don't need this.
Me: Aw, mom ;_; *whimper*
Mom: ...oh, fine. As long as it keeps you from going out and raping women.
Me: MOM O_O

Then she'd walk off rambling about how she'll never have grandchildren.

hahahaha thats hilarous xd and I bet your mom read the entire manga too. I never get carded when i by shrinked wrapped items. I usually by from a local manga store where they don't do tax and they take 10% for members meaning i only pay $8. I also go to a big japanese book store and get the japanese manga for $5 since i can read alot more japanese then chinese.

Sometimes get my friend to buy it when she goes to town. She doesnt get her mother watching over her shoulder to see if shes buying 'suitable' stuff. Not fair!

I buy it at manga conventions too, not that I can get to too many. My friend has to look after anything I buy there till I can smuggle it into the house...

Snag the translated stuff from Waldenbooks and BarnesandNoble and the hot, Jap text stuff online. It's nice to see some good stuff being translated... but it's still in the minority. crying

i cant buy it crying well not any more. the first shounen-ai i bought from the uni book store which had a 3 for 2 deal going but it only lasted one term and now they're gone gonk
