I am lucky to have the type of friends that will love me whoever i am and what ever i like, however i never force my likes on other people, if one of my friends want to talk about yaoi, joy for me, i am completely comfortable with my like of yaoi but i do not flaunt it.

My friends and I aren't homophobic, but they don't know I like Yaoi because the topic hasn't come up, but when it does, I'll tell it like it is. sweatdrop

I used to be homophobic, but it gradually went away and now I'm out and open about liking yaoi/shonen-ai, yuri/shoujo-ai and hentai. My friends know it and they're okay with it. None of my friends are homophobes, but only a few of them are yaoi-fangirls like myself.

Well I am not entirely sure how I could awnser that . I like yaoi I suppose I dont announce it everywhere thoguh it's not a lot of peoples bussiness .

I'm not in denial, I love yaoi and yuri. I tell people this when I meet them...unless they have some type of connection to my family. My family doesn't know I'm bi....or that I have a sexual perfrence at all. sweatdrop

I do love it.
I would never force myself to like stuff just because 'everyone' else did.
It just so happens, I guess most people are finding they like yuri/yaoi.

I've never been in denial about myself liking yaoi. Though I tend to be evasive when the topic comes up, but I'm always evasive. Unless you ask me for a direct opinion. My sisters are fans themselves, and my brothers have a clue.. especially because he opened one of my books to a certain page.. ninja xd His reaction was hilarious. ninja He froze there for about 3 minutes, and put the book down. Then went "What are they doing?!" even though it was sorta obvious.. heart

I had a friend once who looooved the manga Gravitation, but she was totally against gay-marriage and was one of the biggest homophobes ever. She was really uber-religious and would always say stuff about how gay people are going to hell and blah blah blah.
I think eventually she did realize she was being a hypocrite and stopped reading it.
I actually think that's why we stopped being friends; Because I'm pro-gay rights and think no one has the right to decide whether or not someone gets married because of their lifestyle.
But anywayyyy...
