Ada’s excitement was all too flattering that Unki could’ve sworn her own cheeks were turning pink. She could help but giggle at the question of name, “it’s so early.” Unki sheepishly cupped her own chin into her palm, fingers splayed over her cheek. “But I decided that if I could have a healthy, little rainbow….” She pauses- blinking in some effort to fan away chance tears- and reflects briefly on the reality of how special but unusual that spoken sentiment may have sounded out loud. “I would want a Yoidzuki or a Ueki, if it’s a boy. If it’s a girl then I think I can talk Shiro into settling for Uzume. She would be our prettiest pearl. But he has so many Oo-sounding names to remember already!” It was nice speaking with Ada and certainly so on the topic of brighter subjects, despite the unique challenges that came with. Unki could just go on about ideas for nursery decorations for her impending child. How truly hoped she and Kenshin could start out with all the luck in the world.
Shiro, meanwhile, was absently nodding to Unki’s hopeful musings with his hands folded in his lap and knee bouncing in full tilt. Inadvertently aggravating Unki’s static wheelchair. He found himself in suspense. Unlike before, there was a known reason for attending and getting into the nitty-gritty and watching Unki shine was the exciting part he was generally waiting for. The rest? He was priming himself to see the rebellious degenerate in person. Of all times to actually feel a crave for tobacco, he thought, this instance would surely be it.
There weren’t many “repeat guests” from the previous summit. Just one person, actually. There really had been a change in power in the Leaf and Shiro found himself relaxing a bit more when he recalled Kenshin previously withdrawing the Fire Empire’s banner. Old Man Fire couldn’t take the heat? He thought to himself and dismissively shook his head. He scoffed, “too bad.” Kenshin didn’t need to march into the details. There was, apparently, only room for only one, white haired old man (thriving in his early thirties) to endure as an Emperor on this continent. Meanwhile, River country was up-and-coming with an interesting sensation in its party’s midst that he knew better than to disclose. If peace was the crown jewel of his goal then it was wrong to sit quietly.
“I understand you and your allies have made quite the journey. I’d like to welcome you all. I am Shiro Chosokabe.” He breezed over the mention of his Imperial title to the members of the Valley group. Clothes were making the man. “How should I address you? Lady Tanikage? I’d like to hear your story some day.” He’d nod shortly there after introductions were exchanged. He excuses himself to the next leader of interest.
“There’s a sight for sore eyes.” Shiro said as he came to his feet. His glance met the young Shogun that he felt proud knowing a little differently than others here. “You’re looking well.” He did bow. He otherwise reserved this mundane sign of respect for special cases, special figures, and good friends who have worked hard and henceforth earned his respect. before extending his hand for a warm handshake. Shiro wasn’t a cold person, after all. It would be widely out of his element to be reserved to the point where he couldn’t extend warmth to his own subjects. Without support of the inhabitants of his empire, support from and to his allies and friends then the Usurper Shiro knew well he’d be nothing. There was plenty to say, certainly. “I’m glad you’re here, Musunde. Or should I call you something else?” he added as he tacked on a light laugh to taper down the tension of meeting after conflict. “I can imagine choosing to pick up your birthright wasn’t easy, even after all this time. Still, after we snuff out this Jashinist affair, Unki and I would be honored to usher in peace beside you as allied nations.”
An hour passes.
Unki passes a look to Nami briefly. A saddened look. She had no idea her guard had been in such trouble. As a consequence, the Empress couldn’t help but wonder if this sight on-going in the basement had threatened her most out of ordinary help too. The crows then came flying rampant above. Their cawing seemed limitless and was almost just enough to stir Shiro out of his seat. He blinked as his byakugan was roused to life. A murder of crows couldn’t scare him, the sensation of chakra pulsating with those birds couldn't scare him, but a man so strong and chiefly confident was a tad jumpy at Unki’s side.
He jerked his arm upward across Unki’s front as the straddling bird pecked at a dish in front of them. His white-knuckled fist was shaking against an urge to snatch and strangle Satoshi’s crow. Chakra manifestation or not! Satoshi’s snort and cackle provoked a snappy interjection out of a typically levelheaded Shiro who thundered his frustrations. “send her another. Indulge me. I dare you.” He eyed Satoshi, daring the cost, as little details were coming together. Shiro’s glance bouncing between Sadayo, Satoshi, their host who is surely contemplating bringing his thumb down on the drama, and holding this all up against fresh fragmented images of the lens into the basement still forefront in his head. Here, Shiro too was tying the interesting tail end of a story together. Still, a threat to Unki took precedence than the hint of the sob story of another b*****d child. Welcome to the club, kid.
A sudden tug on his sleeve came. Against the singe of a slight ache, Unki seized his arm and bit back her unease to breathe a pressing plea, “Shiro, please.” Stop. Don’t get angry. ”We’re not fighting. You don’t fall for taunts. You’re above that! ” She was right. The Emperor Chosokabe was a man who was typically far, far more relaxed at uppity events like this. Deliberate jabs toward Unki were probably just the grand tipping point.
Unki’s plea quickly compelled Shiro to bow out. He bowed his head and dropped into his seat again. Reluctantly. Vehemently annoyed at himself for falling for a child’s trick but certainly far from any ounce of embarrassment. ”My apologies, Kenshin. Lady Ada.” He gestured to the room as he expelled a breath. " This is a peaceful summit. We are here to save innocent lives. ” He looked away from Satoshi and retired to silence for the time being with the distance between himself and Unki closed and fastened by the hold of her hand. Occupying himself with a musing vision of dismantling the blue-lipped brat limb by limb kept his quiet.

Soyeon would be the second to enter the Pale Citadel alongside the rest of her comrades of Amegakure. The interior of the palace would be lined with a marble interior, giving the building a more regal aesthetic fitting for what kind of events would have likely conspired there. Of source, she saw it more of an eyesore than anything, a typical display of wealth over the mundane that belong more in some fairy tail than their living world. With the scroll in hand to move past the guards that had stopped them over whether they had belonged or not. She paid them very little mind and simply flashed the scroll as they would soon move past. She closed the parasol over herself and kept it underneath her armpit while then following the path towards the meeting room where the sound of voices would be carried down the empty halls. It wasn't an endlessly long trek in doing so considering that people were surprisingly chatty for it being a supposed meeting between the different people of the world. She walked in, looking extravagant as always while taking a moment to consider stock of the room. The other kages would be interrupted by Satoshi's little interruption while he would finish up teasing the Shogun of Zaishin about their attack. It had felt like ages ago since their ship had crashed into the Seiryu headquarters, and look at them now. A group of aspiring rogues wanting to kill Jashin and...Pretty much the exact same, give or take some positions at a village and one Botenmaru. She rather missed his brutality, finding his company just below Mano in terms of her relationship with the Prophet crew.
Soyeon continued forward just as Yazawa would approach Satoshi, with Soyeon taking his opposite side. "Sorry we kept you waiting." she whispered into his ear. When it came time for Satoshi to be seated with the others, Soyeon would follow him down, sitting in his lap as she faced to her right, one arm around his neck while her legs would rest off to the side.
Yazawa could best be described as attempting to down an oak tree with a butter knife. His attempts at engaging Coda met the same steadfast stare, the slightest sprinkle of further annoyance drifting in via almost imperceptively more furrowed brows. The offered hand was ignored, with all the fanfare of someone blowing off a hawker in a busy bazaar, but Coda accepted the origami bat out of pure curiosity. A kekkai genkai? Not one she’d encountered before. It was a somewhat flat attempt at flattery, but, well, there was value in examining something one had never examined before, even if mundane.
Her eyes turned skyward at the flock of crows as Yazawa took his leave, falling slowly back onto Sadayo’s clone. “Crow Eye Satoshi is a madman, if the rumors swirling about Amegakure are any indication of his actual disposition. This business in Rain isn’t a Tanigakure situation, we’re not talking about a loose collection of disaffected hermits.” She said after the Amekage’s minister was out of earshot. “Please tell me Crow Eye Satoshi’s minister of state was in your company as a matter of coincidence and not business, that you picked him up wandering the roads like a moron.” The Konin begged in a gruff tone, rubbing her temples as if attempting to ease a sudden pain. This was all quite perturbing, since an Oinin’s role as exterior arm of the village would only be more complicated by another shinobi force limiting their movements - and even more so if that force was comprised of a bunch of people that cleared the psychopathy bar even by shinobi standards. “You’re going to need someone to actually run the Oinin program if you plan on dancing with those devils.”

Taijutsu and bukijutsu techniques used while the armor is active create shock waves [5] feet in the direction of the attack per rank of the technique.
[ Mirror Image Arts Training ] The user may cast the Shadow Clone technique in conjunction with techniques from this style to replace mirror images with the clones. Casting Shadow Clones in this manner does not consume an activation. ------- The user has learned to control their chakra in a fine manner which allows them to create an additional mirror image per rank of the technique it is executed with. At least, if she didn't get to the white-haired female in time to apologize, she now knows where she can search on her off days. One by one, people were entering the room and she found that being focus on her job had helped. That was, until Musunde, Sumire, and Seiichi entered. Dressed in odd ways that reminded her of the samurai that she had to fight not too far from here. Her heart ached and the smell of iron had reached to her nose. 'Stay focus...' She reminded herself, it didn't help when she can hear the cries of the fallen victims. Why was she even here?
After a long wait, Kenshin started and it was odd how he has everyone's attention to him. She saw it often with Unki and Shiro even, it just still was foreign to her. Nami noticeably grimaced when he brought up purifying Isobu, that was painful, but having... Jashin in her was even more painful than the purification itself. It left her damaged and Isobu quiet. The saddened look of Unki didn't escape her as guilt took another whip at her heart, skipped a beat. Why does she feel so guilty?
Isobu remained quiet, at least, until he appeared.
Isobu roared with fury and agony, startled Nami who was faced with silence since the battle, caused her breath to leave her body. 'I-Isobu!?' Nami mentally yelled at him, shocked and embarrassed to be in this situation. 'His mother was a host for me and he killed me...' Nami frowned. She never managed to get Isobu to talk about his past hosts and now here he is, freaking out at this crow man appearance. The moment he directed to Unki's name, she felt defensive and took a step forward. Another leap was forward as Nami was right by Unki's side, having Unki be between Shiro and Nami, but she was still slightly behind Unki's arm but she was ready. Nami heard Unki speak to Shiro but she didn't look at them, she focused on the man before. Isobu and her Emperor's anger... he has reasons. What did he do while she was under Jashin's control? Was Unki in danger? Unki's plea had reached to the hot-tempered Shiro's ears as he sat back down and Nami gently slides back just a smidge but she was right by Unki's side.
Now, Nami was angry. Angry at Isobu's silence since he's been with her. Angry for whatever she missed between the ugly crow man and her Empress. Angry at Jashin.
PassiveEffects: Demon Mastery: The host dons a bright sea green fog of chakra with terrifying ephemeral illusory images as they and Isobu are able to unify their will and openly share his chakra and the host's body without reserve. This sea green chakra hugs the user's form and clothing tightly, appearing similarly. The user manifests all three tails and forms a spiky gray turtle shell over their body with three gray spiky shrimp-like tails. One of the host's eyes close and the other remains open with a ghastly yellow glow. The user passively draws in enough water to flood the topic the host is in up to 40 feet.[ • The user's strength, agility, and speed are elevated to 10 while the user's endurance is elevated to 12 for the duration of the transformation. • Suiton techniques are considered overwhelming during the transformation and are boosted [1] rank higher during this transformation. • Genjutsu costs an additional rank to kai and the user may add [2] senses to any illusion. • Crystallization | All Shoton techniques have the innate ability to crystallize chakra upon collision. Techniques that are not a rank higher nor overwhelm the Shoton technique will be instantly crystallized through. For example, a B-Rank Shoton technique colliding with a B-Rank fireball will result in the Shoton technique being destroyed and the fireball being rendered a useless clump of crystal. Once techniques are crystallized they are rendered useless to the caster. Additionally, the Shoton user can shatter a crystalized technique or object at will with no chakra or combat action cost. Finally, if the cost is paid twice for a Shoton technique then it will be able to crystallize overwhelming techniques and techniques up to one rank higher. This does not consume a combat action and can only be performed once per post. • Born Enchanter | All Shoton users of the genjutsu class automatically obtain the enchanter/enchantress path of a genjutsu class specialist (see genjutsu/genjutsu cross class). If the Shoton user is a genjutsu specialist already then they may be an enchanter/enchantress as well as a second path (illusionist, trickster, and conjurer). Ergo, if you are single genjutsu class then you get the enchanter path from genjutsu specialist and if you are a genjutsu specialist then you get the enchanter path as well as a second path of your choosing. _✧Those who are a specialist can choose one category of genjutsu to follow as a path. You can follow the path of the illusionist (illusory focus), enchanter/enchantress (enchantment focus), trickster (instance focus), or conjurer (chain focus). Selecting a Path grants [3] additional custom slots and [1] keystone for techniques of that category. Genjutsu that are cast by those of this specialization are more efficient as according to the user's body rank, all Genjutsu are [10] Chakra cheaper to perform with the user's specialized Focus are further reduced by another [5] Chakra per body rank. No cost can be lower than a minimum of [5] Chakra. Once every other post all three of the genjutsu specialist's actions in a post can be used for genjutsu.
Genjutsu Path: Enchantress • Crystal Ball | The Shoton user's crystals can act as a crystal ball and produce divination visions by applying an E-Rank amount of chakra for no action cost. This allows viewing the crystals to be used as a sight trigger for genjutsu. Genjutsu triggered with this method cost one rank higher to kai but require one tier lower to release through pain at a maximum of S+ chakra and a minimum of tier one pain. In addition, as a clairvoyant, all genjutsu with sight as the primary sense can last for an additional [2] posts with no upkeep cost. • Crystalline Rampart | Defensive crystal techniques are one rank stronger against spiritual techniques in collisions. Crystal techniques also lose their weakness to sound techniques. Finally, all doton techniques can be classified as shoton techniques for no resource or action cost but only originally crystal defenses gain the one rank increase.

“I’d be lying if I said I knew…” Usagi muttered just loud enough for her group to hear her. The Kage sighed and rubbed the back of her head. “I’ve never been to a shindig like this before, either. Nakano, it might be a good idea to keep your bats under control for the time being. We should probably make a good first impression.” Usagi’s eyes drifted to the forms of the other present Kage. Much like how she felt the last time she saw Toso, the Tanikage felt much less equipped for her role as leader in comparison to the others. Not inferior, just ill equipped. She’d only been picked as a last minute candidate and only because of her bloodline, after all.
It was soon that the lord of the castle would come speak to Usagi. “Lord Kenshin, thank you for your hospitality. You and your wife have a wonderful home.” The blonde woman had a polite smile on her face, while she reached out with her senses to the Hyuuga before her. A stalwart sentinel, as per his reputation, Usagi was certain the Citadel was safe under this man’s command. Still, his rigidity didn’t sit well with her. Usagi was a little more laidback in her approach to leadership. “Rivers is reaching the state it should be in.” She answered after a second, doing her best to say it with enough vagueness without admitting that she wasn’t doing as Kenshin would have wanted.
She took her seat next to the Shogun and did her best to avoid eye contact with the man. It felt strange sitting next to him after she killed about one thousand of his men. Usagi doubted she’d remain as calm as Musunde was during this summit. The Tanikage, too, noticed a lack of Toso, seeing a younger girl sitting in the Arashikage spot. Wonder what happened to him… she thought, staring at the young Arashikage long enough to make it awkward, just before events began.
Usagi watched with an analyzing gaze to the man in the projection. The Kyuubi host, a man of muscle turned rage incarnate. She was sure that his berserk state would pull an emotional response from someone, the Tanikage was stuck thinking about how she was glad he was locked in there and that everyone else was out here. Usagi rested her cheek on a loose fist as she watched the projection and listened to Kenshin’s words.
Of course that was until the final guest made his arrival. The Amekage, all flash and flurry, was surprisingly entertaining to Usagi. His showing of unabashed immaturity at least made her feel better about herself, which loosened the nerves wrought by her anxiety. “Nakano, nevermind what I said earlier.” She said quietly to the tamer, her lips upturned into a relaxed smile. “I think they have other things to worry about than a few loose bats.”
Iksin following along with Usagi, standing next to her as the regal looking owner of the citadel approached and spoke directly to Usagi herself. Mentioning of him being from the land she was now the kage of. Iksin of course wasn't one who studied up on people, but it was an interesting thing that he felt he should keep note of. If only for perhaps asking the man for help with his homelands if the need for it ever arises for some reason. Although Iksin was fairly confident in both his own and Usagi's abilities to deal with if not every then most situations that could even arise in the first place. They continued along to their seats after of course...which happened to catch Iksin a bit off guard. The man who approached the seats next to the Tanigakure seats was Musunde himself...which would likely mean that the others that had been at the Iron Castle that day were likely not far behind if not already there in the first place. There were other things happening around him that definitely were a bit different of a concern for him though.
Iksin standing directly beside Usagi would decide to speak directly to Musunde. It'd been a while, since they had last seen each other, and Iksin's new and peculiar abilities allowed him different forms which made him look different if he truly chose to. He was sure Musunde wouldn't recognize him by sight alone, even if Iksin had tried to retain some features he looked at as part of himself. "It's good to see you again, Usurper Shogun." He spoke to Musunde, addressing him the same way that he had last addressed him. However aside from that, and a simple look being given to Musunde. Not one of any particular emotion but simply a look. Then he would take the seat on the other side of Usagi. Turning his attention towards the happenings of the Lord of the Citadel and who seemed to be the Hokage. A projection which showed up, showing the struggle of the current host of the nine-tailed demon.
Iksin could feel a pull in his chakra, he knew exactly what it was and knew how to control it for the time being however it was quite the annoying pull and shift in his chakra. He could hear the voice of the demon inside him urging Iksin to allow him to speak but Iksin would not. Of course all of that soon had come crashing down when Satoshi arrived. Iksin himself didn't particularly mind the situation at hand involving the eyepatched Kage. His antagonism didn't extend to Tani, however it was quite interesting to hear them. Iksin putting together things in his head made him realize that this man was essentially the reason for the Zaishin-Shinobi War that broke out...or at least was the reason Seizo could use to initiate it so to speak. That being said, Iksin felt his chakra shift again. Starting to be used by something that was not him. Which meant only one thing.
"YAAAAHAAHAAHAAAAAAAAA" A voice suddenly projected out and through the room. One that would perhaps be recognized by anyone that had dealt with Shukaku before, although who exactly that entailed Iksin himself didn't know. To be safe Iksin took quick action, projecting a small image directly in front of him as if it were sitting on the table which the demon's voice would come from. Sighing himself as he rubbed his head annoyed by the prospect of this demon, who he could keep from taking control of himself, still having a way to be this pompous annoying existence to all. "THIS KID IS HILARIOUS!" The projection of shukaku spoke motioning towards Satoshi once he realized he was seen in some fashion. "IF YOU ASK THIS ORE-SAMA THOUGH! THE ARROGANT FOX DESERVES TO SUFFER! THIS ORE-SAMA WOULDN'T BE IN SOME SITUATION OF SUFFERING MAYBE HE HAS MORE TAILS BECAUSE HE IS WEAKER HA!" While the projection of Shukaku spoke with Iksin having little to no control over it's words or volume. The projection suddenly would point towards Sadayo. "WOULDN'T HAVE EXPECTED ONE OF THOSE WEAKLINGS WHO HELPED SEAL ME IN THAT USELESS b***h TO BECOME A KAGE THOUGH! YAAAAHAAA! AND ONE SO CONCERNED WITH THE ARROGANT FOX AT THAT! THIS ORE-SAMA HOPES YOU SUFFER AS MUCH AS HE!" The aggravated look on Iksin's face at this situation showed just about how much he himself wasn't appreciative of it either. But Shukaku's obnoxious laughter continued none-the-less.
tab"Yes mam, understood." Whilst Nakano didn't seem to care one way or another, Koumori whined like a struck animal, as they entered the palace. He'd cling tighter to his shoulder, his claws almost biting into his flesh. Not that Nakano minded, pain didn't much hinder him. Though, his bestfriend was being a crybaby. He'd reach up and give a firm bap to his nose, which would settle the flying fox down. They'd enter the meeting room, Nakano staying firmly beside his 'Kage. Koumori eyed everyone in the room, and every new comer at that. Little soft squeaks, a tilt of his head, examining everyone. Nakano paid attention to any words spoken to his kage, or to everyone in the room. Now was as good a time as any to learn about the other powers of their world.
Koumori was fairly calm, at least until the crow's arrived. Something foul about them caught his attention. The hair raised on the back of his neck, he'd bare his fangs and start to growl. The bat was looking all around as the swarm of crows filled the room, only to come together and materialize as one being. It should be noted, Koumori was not growling at Satoshi, but instead the cursed crow, Yogen. A quick movement of the Bat and a rather loud bark, prompted the restraining hand of Nakano to grab the bat by his chest. Koumori had started to take off, his winged arm pressed into his hair, the other on his shoulder. If Nakano had duller reflexes, the giant bat would have kicked off from his shoulder, right at Yogen.
'Greeeeaaaaaat...' Nakano thought, he'd keep a straight face. His maroon eyes stared icey daggers into his pet, whom he had pressed into his lap. "I dunno, I think he lost that privilege just now." Nakano whispered a response to the Tanikage. He'd hoped his actions would show that the others around the table could continue without a word about the interruption. Koumori, had immediately submitted when he was grabbed, the bat was keeping quiet, he knew he was in trouble.
Koharu would look around the room at all of the world leaders present as she attended to whatever needs Usagi might have while at the meeting. It was the first time she had traveled outside of the Land of Rivers, and so she was nervous, but at the same time putting on a brave face expected of a Chuunin. To calm her nerves, she instead pulled out the ceremonial sprig of pine she carried. It had small bells that jingled as she fanned it in the direction of each of the Kage and the Shogun, before she offered a silent prayer to Evergreen. Anyone knowledgeable in the religion would have recognized the gesture as one of good will, though she seemed to have a Shinto aesthetic to her practice, clueing into her adoption of the Taoist sect.
Koharu had been quietly observing the hatred for the one known as Satoshi, and by his own reactions and actions, it was clear that he was not a very kind man. It seemed more than one person had either come to the same conclusion or had known such about him in the first place. If anyone needed the unity and justice that Evergreen offered, it seemed to be him. He seemed to be the biggest source of discourse among the group anyway, which caused her to furrow a brow visibly before she returned back to her attentiveness at Usagi's side.
Then there was the matter of the tailed beasts, a subject that Koharu really did not enjoy, seeing as they were in direct violation of the tenants of her religion. The raging chakra of the Nine-Tails host could be felt by the young sage, and the power of the demon slowly breaking free from it's host was impressive, but not enough to garner a reaction beyond the addition of a prayer to end their suffering quickly. Koharu had no sympathy for the demons. They were not of nature, and borne of Jashin. They only existed beyond that as weapons utilized by each one of these Village's present as biological weapons with which to sow the seeds of conflict amongst one another. "...It'd be better if they just disappeared.", she mumbled before realizing she had spoken and then she quickly went silent, blushing furiously. Though she could not be the only one who felt this way. It was obvious by the presence of even more demonic chakra in the room as more Jinchuriki showed up that it was clear their purpose in station in their respective Village's.
However, Iksin's display of rudeness to the Iron Country's Shogun, followed by his own lack of control over his own demon spirit caused her to palm her face quite visibly. The vile words and malice that spewed from the Shukaku only affirmed her viewpoint of the demons and their hosts. Nothing good could come from them, and they were dangerous, not just to the world, but to themselves as well. Her eyes narrowed as the vile words, wishing ill on the struggling Nine-Tail's host and the Kage of Leaf spewed forth. She then looked over to Iksin, and then bowed her head low to whisper to Usagi, "Lady Tanikage, you did not perchance bring a way to reign him in? He's out of line." Her words were with a quiver, not of her usual uncertainty, but with the confidence of outrage at the embarrassment that she felt the display was causing for their representation.
The puppeteer almost yawned at Satoshi’s entrance. The loose cannon bit was practically broiled it’d been in the oven so long. Instead she took this moment, and Sadayo’s infatuation with it, to duck behind Cobalt and begin some light mischief making. The disgusting rat Festertooth summoned, their presence erased, sage mode entered, Sumiko posed. And suddenly Sumika was the definition of anonymous, the bat Vassili and her lovely rat summon the only ones aware of their movements. Speaking of which, order of business one, ditch the bat spook’s… uh, bat. This was accomplished via the bat tamer, Nakano, a sudden weight as Coda’s summon, easily larger than any of the kid’s companions, was placed onto his shoulder while the sneaky Sumika continued on her way.
The woman slid to a stop on the table next to Shukaku’s projection, despite the fact that her chakra signature would suggest to anyone else with sensory abilities that she had never moved from Sadayo’s side. More likely than not, with at least the party she'd chosen to approach preoccupied with being one of enthralled by an idiot, the source of an idiot, or staring at a bat Sumika would be unnoticed up until this point. One arm propped up her head and another traced the edge of one of the furry, rat-like ears atop her head. She looked curiously at the projection for a moment, then poked a finger directly into the biju’s belly, before casting her now almost pure black eyes towards Iksin, the light of the room just catching hints of emerald green. “Weird. Guess that’s what you actually look like, um, whatever your name is. Your last host was… more attractive than you or this uuuuh, guy.” She said, continuing to absentmindedly poke the little version of Shukaku, glancing between it and the rather annoyed looking Iksin. "And yeah, I'd say that's a good bet lady. All these kage in one place? You lot attract the village erasing type of trouble when kicking it alone. AND king moron over there is doing wacky biju s**t. We'll be lucky if all of reality isn't in pieces by the end of this. At least no one's trying to kill a god yet." She added, chiming in on Usagi's comment about the rest of the summit having more to worry about.
As if suddenly remembering something the woman snapped her fingers. "Right, I'm supposed to be on my best behavior. Means I gotta introduce myself all fancy. Sumika of the Iron Sand, Sage of the Rats, Unofficial Uzumaki, the shinobi world's foremost connoisseur of spicy snacks, Ninjutsu Nightmare, Leaf's Prodigal Puppeteer, aaaaand Shodai Sumikage at your service."

▱▰▱When Yazawa leaned in to whisper and admonish Satoshi, his smirk only grew. He took another hearty gulp of his glass of Yorujozo before responding. "Aye, but you're not the minister of state just yet, are yee?" Satoshi turned his taunting to his own diplomat before planting a kiss on his cheek. It was a brief smooch yet oddly lingering in an effort to make Yazawa uncomfortable enough to fully back away and cease his questioning of the Amekage. When Sumire entered the room Satoshi immediately looked over from where he was seated at the table. "Ah yes, I remember you from the wall! A valiant effort, how sad that there's no Fire Empire here to save you from me this time..." Satoshi pointed toward the empty seats where the Fire Empire was meant to sit. He remembered with fondness the days that he was able to reap his revenge on the Seiryu. Satoshi leaned into his elbows on the table before briefly answering Sadayo's confusion. "You may not remember, but time broke when I was in the womb. Mother was in quite close proximity to Evergreen when she disrupted space-time at the end of the Kogarashi War. I've been aging quickly ever since but through resolving my destiny I've slowed my aging. No worries, I think you'll all be having to put up with me for many decades to come." Satoshi looked over at the Arashi shinobi, including Miyuki, and winked before continuing his conversation with them. "You're the one they picked to replace my father, eh? Are yee still keeping the place afloat?" Satoshi inquired of Miyuki if she was essentially able to keep Arashi alive and in the sky. "Do you want the airship back? I've grown quite fond of it but I have no further need of it." His tone was still incredibly facetious but it was a true offer. He had sentimental attachments to the Prophet but his fate with the ship had reached its conclusion and thus he had no further need for it.
▱▰▱When Shiro began boiling and losing his temper, Satoshi began to cackle. He coughed a bit as his breathing became labored by the laughter. "Worry not, one gift is all I needed! As long as you understand to stay out of my territory. After all, I can't steal land that was already stolen." Satoshi hinted that Shiro's claim of the land to create his empire was the original theft. "I can get behind peace. A peaceful conference with a room full of conquerors. There's a poetic irony in that." Satoshi was cocky. How could he be the bad guy here after so many atrocities had already been committed by the people who tried to claim the moral high ground over him? When Soyeon entered the room, Satoshi smiled at his perfect creation. When she sat on his lap he snaked an arm around her waist to keep her secured to him. As she walked in, a couple of KASA guards accompanied her. They took at both sides of Satoshi and glared over the room with the unsettling indigo light of their eye goggles. Their umbrellas were tightly strapped to their backs yet easily retrievable if need be by the secret police operatives. However, even Satoshi was thrown off by the sudden boom of Shukaku's voice. He had no idea where it was coming from but the voice seemed to approve of his presentation so far, unlike Yazawa. He gave an uncertain yet enthusiastic thumbs up at Iksin who appeared to be the source of the noise. He only put his thumb down when a bat flew toward Yogen. The crow's cursed eyes glowed purple as he squawked loudly and puffed out his plumes in an effort to intimidate the creature. If that did not work, then the avian would take more direct steps to protect himself. From Satoshi's shoulder, some of the crow's feathers scraped up against his hair on the side of his head. "Back on topic! Whose fate has bound them to the nine-tailed fox?" It was an open question but it was more pointedly directed at Sadayo who seemed to be in the best decision-making position on the subject as the hokage and Masato's significant other. "Don't take this as any undue pressure, auntie. But it is rather important. I'm here to support you, however. I am a family man, after all. Have the Seiryu upset you at all? I'm sure there's more out there I can kill." Satoshi made a dark joke before winking at Musunde and Sumire.

In the fog's denseness, there are passing phantoms of monstrous yokai. While in the fog, players can create [1] X-Ranked monster per post of their own imagination using their own chakra. The created monster can use basic combat attacks against another player's monster. When a player's monster dies a tiered amount of insanity based on the chakra rank of the monster inflicts the creator. If a monster harms a player's body they believe the injuries are real.
Poison Specs ▰ Drug Name: Yorujozo (夜の醸造, Yoru no jōzō, Night Brew) ▰ Drug Type: Poison ▰ Drug Tier: Legendary | Tier 4 ▰ Drug Form: Liquid | Gas ▰ Narcotic Description: Yorujozo is a violet alcoholic brew created by the Shadowfoot Tribe of oni who live in the black forest (Kuro Shinrin) of the Land of Fire. These oni are born with gray skin that turns violet from the amount of Yorujozo they consume. Regular consumption of Yorujozo can turn the lips violet while constant intake dyes the body's skin. Yorujozo is highly toxic and hallucinogenic. The Shadowfoot oni consider the liquid sacred because consumption of it gives them otherworldly visions which aid in deciphering prophecies, a central aspect of the tribe's culture. The brew is highly sedative as well and helps the consumer sleep while also delivering the typical effects of alcohol. The brew is made from the inky purple leaves of the black forest's trees. Newborn Shadowfoot oni are fed a single leaf to allow them to consume Yorujozo without harm. Those who ingest this rare leaf become immune to Yorujozo's toxicity while retaining the psychedelic and alcoholic effects. Yorujozo is a viscous liquid of violet coloring that flows like honey and creates illusory fumes. It tastes as foul as ink when it hits the tongue but has a sweet and pleasant taste when swallowed. Personal Attributes ▱▰▱ Crow Eye | When a young Satoshi looked through the lens of fate to see his prophecy, his right eye was taken as a price. This eye has been nicknamed his "crow eye" because it was cursed by the crow king Yatagarasu in exchange for the prophecy. This crow eye is connected to the eyes of Yogen, the personal summon of Satoshi who has been fate bound to his summoner. Satoshi's crow eye and Yogen's eyes will often glow in unison. The crow eye's appearance is a ghastly violet that glows when it is not covered by an eyepatch. When the sharingan is used through the crow eye it appears to have blackened sclera and glowing purple tomoe and pupils. When the crow eye is in use it causes throbbing headache pain and is more susceptible to blindness. Mangekyo skills used through the crow eye are reduced by [1] use before the blindness status is inflicted. For example, if a technique can be used twice before blindness happens then in the crow eye it could only be used once meaning that the eye goes blind faster. However, the cursed crow eye is maddening when gazed upon as when a genjutsu is cast through it the eye glares with extremely bright violet light and inflicts insanity equal to the rank of the technique. ▱▰▱ Demonic Shroud | When an E-Rank amount of chakra is applied to Satoshi's natural chakra materialization it becomes even more realistic and haunting. Viewing the fog acts as the trigger for genjutsu and counts as eye contact for sharingan genjutsu/hypnosis if his sharingan is active. Alternatively, if no genjutsu is cast then viewing the shroud merely causes first-tier mental stress or insanity. Trailing into the great citadel a dozen or so yards behind Soyeon, simply ignoring the guards as she went and increasing her pace. She would have difficultly admiring the impressive structure and its grand display of status, something she would normally enjoy doing, though she was still put off from her experience with Toso. So only a few seconds after Soyeon and the KASA agents entered the main of the summit Seina would glide into the room. As usual she carried herself with an air of confidence, generally graceful as she moved and her yellow eyes scanning about with a studying but not unfriendly glare, pausing on some more than others. Behind her by a few steps walked her large. light blue skinned Oni who was carrying the massive and now folded parasol it had been using earlier, it’s general demeanour coming off as lacking self confidence unlike most of of his kind, implying it wasn’t in a good relationship with its owner. Then there was the silver white snake that was sort of flanking the Dokueki woman and was so large and long its body was still trailing through the doors like some kind of unending freight train, the snakes head raised about four feet and looking about for potential threats.
The first person Seina looked for was of coarse her own Kage, who was busy in the middle of his antics, pressing his lips to a man she had not mets cheek, a mental sigh echoing out to all but her self. Next her eyes went back to looking at the people and identifying them based on what she knew, the kages being the easiest to do so, the Shogun was nobody she knew offhandedly as she didn’t gather much information on his domains. The new Arashikage was one she was most interested in, Toso having arrived in Amegakure being the first she knew about his “abdication” of the position, so her eyes would have lingered on Miyuki the most, her expressions always hidden behind her ornate, pale green lined fan. By the time she reached Satoshi she had given every person in the room a one over, a few oddballs like the shukaku and host for example would draw some of her curiosity, the tailed beast being interesting, especially in its current state of “body.” Still she wouldn’t comment at this moment as much as she might like to, instead looking to Satoshi and nodding her head out of respect and saying with a bit of musing and sarcasm directed outward in her voice ”Lord Satoshi, seems you know a lot more of these people than i thought, I presumed that means that our tardiness is forgiven, old friends and all that.” She would do a sweeping motion with the hand holding her fan so as to indicate toward everyone here, making it clear where her sarcasm was pointed.
The massive Silver-white snake, Naga made his way to her side and began coiling overtop of himself as her reached her, slowly increasing in height but taking up less space as he went, the Oni stood further back near the Kasa agents. A quick flick of the wrist and a clacking sound of her fan snapping shut with the motion, Seina placing its loop around a wrist and letting it hang and paying attention to the Konoha woman who had snuck over to the Shukaku and started talking with little reservation. Her slit pupil eyes looked over at the Hokage for an instant as she listened, curious as to how Sadayo was feeling or would react to this one, who had now began some long winded and over the top introduction that gave away a the aspects of woman and her smug ego, self importance and clear lack of respect for people bordering on the same level to maybe worse than Satoshi, though Seina hadn’t experienced enough of this one to make a true call with that last part. Seina picked out things in the title, ones she that were straightforward, one she didn’t respect which was being the rat sage, rats being little more than vermin and food for snake, then of coarse there was that odd allusion to a Kage like name which she wanted to have clarified but decided it’d be better if she left it be, placing either hand up the opposite large sleeve and removing them from sight.
Everything seemed all peaceful when the other villages had arrived and gotten themselves ready for the incoming peace meeting. But then, the Amegakure attacked, moreso verbally. Being the head of the charge would be none other than Satoshi himself. Seiichi had to take a step closer to Musunde at his arrival, feeling a cold shiver run down his spine as he could just instantly recall the names and faces that some of the Seiryu he had known for the past while or so had called this man. His deeds, the vendetta against the Seiryu that had resulted in them razing the capital of Seiichi's clan. Granted it would be for a (semi) just cause for vengeance. The boy would frown as he and his party arrived in a grandiose storm of crows and affection. Satoshi's lover would immediately jump to his side a little while after the sudden appearance of his cronies before taking his sweet time with taunting the entire venue. What really made his blood boil were the remarks made to not only the Mizukage but the Lord Shogun himself. His hands balled into fists underneath his robes, watching the interloper continue to simply work the room as if it was his own personal forum. The final straw happened when the woman across the way he called auntie (were they even related?) would joke about the Seiryu yet again. In a moment of his emotions besting him yet again, Seiichi would finally break.
"That's enough, you...Butcher!" he yelled at the one eyed man across the way. The sudden shout even surprised him, the Seiryu's cheeks quickly turning crimson while he would clear his throat as the eyes of everyone were upon him. "I agree that some of us older Seiryu have done unspeakable things in the past, and that they stain our hands to this day. A mark that won't come off no matter how hard we younger generation scrub, but I won't allow you to sit here and turn us into some sadistic mockery of what we are!" His body shook underneath the robes he wore that Kenji had done so long ago, his breath shaking in a mixture of a silent fury and embarrassment. Thoughts good and bad flowed together in his mind like a cocktail of bad impressions. But he would continue on as quickly as he left off. "B-But we're not so different either. I've heard about what Kagami Hari stood for, and what she did so with pride. Do you think she'd say the same of where you are now, Amekage?" Seiichi put emphasis on his title as his mind screamed at him to run, flee, escape from the attention and ruining Zaishin's standing. He couldn't notice it, but tears would have silently began to stream down his cheek, blinking as he felt a stray droplet make impact with his hand. He wiped his eyes with his sleeve but refused to break eye contact with Satoshi after his harsh words of his family. He had hoped that one day, he could help, even just a little, repair the actions that his clan had done so that the 5 Clans of Zaishin could once again be at peace with one another. At least until it came time for the next Lord Shogun to be decided upon.

▱▰▱The Lord of the Pale Citadel had to practice his breathing when Satoshi appeared and proceeded to antagonize almost everyone in the world. The pirate was easily able to get under the Sentinel's skin as he felt his gut boiling. Sadayo remained quiet but Kenshin had to remind her that time was of the essence. "I understand this is a terrible shock, Lady Hokage. However, it is your duty to assign a new jinchuuriki immediately. If we delay then Masato may harm himself." He spoke formally as he looked to Sadayo to make a decision on the matter. Usagi was pleasant and it was surprising given his own experiences with the RIver Country. Yet, the only joy that Kenshin had gotten out of this meeting at all was watching his wife excitedly speak to Unki. However, that dissipated quickly when Satoshi opened his mouth. Unki remained quiet but Shiro was outraged by Satoshi's cheeky threats. Kenshin stood from his seat as his eyes flashed with righteous rage and the glow of the tenseigan. "You will not disrespect the emperor and empress in the Pale Citadel." Kenshin did not shout though his words were seething through his tightly clenched teeth. When Soyeon entered the room and sat on Satoshi's lap, he simply shook his head and gave a directive to a guard. "That seating is inappropriate for the decorum of this event." Kenshin pointed at Soyeon as a skyguard of the citadel approached her with a chair next to Satoshi and would move to pull her into the chair. Events were spiraling even further out of control when a member of the Seiryu clan began shouting at Satoshi. Kenshin would not interrupt the well-deserved tirade. However, he would chime in at the end for the purpose of keeping decorum. "No more outbursts, young Seiryu." It would perhaps seem to Seiichi that Kenshin was scolding him but he was actually giving him a symbolic wink by letting this slide by his strict rules of procedure. Kenshin could admire the honor of defending one's clan. Shukaku also had an outburst although this was advantageous to his purposes at this meeting. "Shukaku, have you been tampered with by the Jashinists?" The human sage asked of the demon as he used his tenseigan to carefully analyze his chakra to see if it had been corrupted. "It appears so. I can see that you're suffering and in need of healing." The lightning sage offered to purify Shukaku to release him of some degree of Jashin's influence. Although he was immediately worried that the Jashinists were making so much headway on gathering corrupted demonic energy.
▱▰▱Kenshin sighed audibly out of frustration when Satoshi began poking the bear again. "Satoshi, if you continue being inappropriate then I shall have you ejected from these halls. This is your only warning." He put emphasis on using the Amekage's first name. Kenshin did not see any legitimacy in his title as he did with the other leaders at the table. He looked over at the woman who was pawing at Satoshi earlier and could see that she was carrying Son Goku. This is exactly what he had wanted and it was clearly untouched by Jashinism. If he had to remove Satoshi then he would have to risk conflict to find a way to purify it even by force if necessary. He hoped that Satoshi would be silent enough for him to negotiate that later in the meeting. "The demons are the target of Jashinism's reach. If we don't stop them then the end times are assured. Everyone, please give me status updates on whether each demon has come into contact with any Jashinists, including Shukaku. I also request permission to purify any and all demons within your respective nations." Kenshin proceeded with the meeting by asking the various leaders to inform him of the status of every bijuu. He also needed permission to purify the ones that were corrupted and protect the ones that may be targeted by the Jashinists in the future.
▱▰▱The human sage then sensed the all-too-familiar usage of nature chakra and natural energy from Sumika. When the rat was summoned and Sumika disappeared, he could still feel the presence of the energy though the technique dislocated its source. He stood up again as his guards stood on alert. "Deactivate sage mode immediately or be removed!" Kenshin shouted through the room as guards filled the meeting room quickly to secure the situation. Tensions were high in the room and security was uncertain whether someone used the power of sage mode to plan to attack one of the world leaders. Tempers were already high with Satoshi's prodding and he made a promise to every leader that no harm would come to them in this forum. Any form of deviance in this powder keg of a situation could lead to war and it was a must for Kenshin to snuff it out. His eyes sharply glared around the room as he readied himself to secure the area.

I am using these innate abilities from non-activated sage mode to be able to detect the presence of another sage:
• The ability to sense intent to do harm within the topic and its source.
• You can naturally sense chakra around yourself. You can sense chakra up to 5 meters away without the use of a sensory technique. This radius is increased by 5 meters every time you rank up. This natural talent is also able to sense the presence of demonic chakra within its range.
I also have the abilities of the byakugan/tenseigan. While I do think that the dojutsu could naturally pinpoint where Sumika is in the room by seeing through a B-Rank summon technique, I have decided not to raise the issue for the sake of narrative cohesion.

This allows all spiritual techniques the sword comes into contact with to be slashed through and even cut in half at the same rank despite the complex nature of the technique. For half of the original cost to activate the technique a same-rank spiritual electrical energy slash can be sent out from the slash of the blade. And miraculously it remained a mystery to some people why Sumika regarded the leadership of the shinobi world with such fervent contempt. Here they all responded to this man, wandering around the hall wielding his significantly more dangerous jutsu with impunity, attempting to make civil discourse between the rest of the kage and a gleeful mass murderer. And for what? The obviously perverse definition of righteousness he adhered to? His undeniably hateful god? The shinobi world’s self-appointed paragon of justice, jumping at the chance to stomp someone that had no agency to respond in kind while wilting at the provocations of actual monsters like so much wet tissue paper. It wasn’t like she was actually hiding, anyone with eyes would be able to see her once she ended up in her final location, laying on the table in full view of the entire hall, doing absolutely nothing worthy of such an aggressive response. Her deception was one purely of misdirection, not concealment and any sensor worth their salt would not have detected any intent to do harm from her.

[Uhh... I think that response was... exceptionally harsh considering Sumika was just trying to go talk to Shukaku while other RPCs are actually trying to provoke each other and I'm disappointed by it, so I'd prefer if Sumika wasn't involved in the kage summit anymore.
