The Kingdom of Kano. A kingdom that managed to survive even through the wrath of a monster of the seas, against a Yonkou. It saw rulers rise and fall, cities be destroyed and reconstructed, people die and be born. It saw ruin and lived through it to return to its original prosperity. But it was only thanks to a betrayal that occurred over a decade ago that the Kingdom of Kano was able to make it this far. After an incident involving a Celestial Dragon and the royal family of an allied kingdom resulted in said kingdom being abandoned by its allies and then being wiped out by the World Government.

Thirteen years ago, the royal family of the Kingdom of Lorencia was paying a visit to Kano. Under the pretext of discussing the future of their alliance, the kings of each nation actually met to chat about the most trivial things. They were friends since they first met, before each became a monarch, even farther in the past. Because of that, the relationship between the two kingdoms was rather good and they often reached common grounds in their official discussions. However, during this visit in particular, the kingdom was receiving an even more important guest. Someone who stood above anything and everything in the known world. One who could be called a God in human form. A Celestial Dragon. A man whose only obligation was to stand above others, or so people said.

The man was accompanied by several servants, slaves he owned and treated as he saw fit. And, as his character was far from good, in the eyes of anyone with common sense, he did nothing but mistreat his slaves. And that would be a very kind way of saying it. From the ten slaves with him, the largest one served as means of transportation, as if he was an animal. The giant walked on all fours, his hands and knees bleeding as they were constantly in contact with the floor. Four others, with a similar size, seemed to have a similar role as they had dirty and hard looking hands and knees, with some blood on them. Perhaps they were spares for when the one he rode grows too tired to be able to move. One could only shudder at the thought of what would be done to the slave that ceases moving though.

The rest of the slaves were rather different, women of many types, possessing different hair and skin color as well as being from different races. One was a black haired and tanned woman, dressing a dancer like outfit, with a veil covering her face and several bracelets decorating her wrists. Another had a light blue skin and gray hair, a fishwoman. She wore a full body dress, unlike the other one, but her face was also covered by a veil. The third and fourth women had similar appearances, a body with a little bit of fur and animal ears, as well as tails. The biggest difference between the two was the color of their fur, golden and silvery. From the shape of the tails and ears, one could guess they were either wolf or fox minks. And the fifth was, with no doubts, the most beautiful of the five women. Not because of her face, as it was also covered, but because there was beauty in her very way of walking. As if she was someone born to captivated the hearts of men. There was certainly not a single man who did not stop to watch as she walked by in her skin tight outfit, that revealed the figure of her body and allowed one to see as every inch of her body moved with each step she took. Her blue long hair swaying at every move along with her hips. And she was the cause of the incident.

Maybe someone sold that information, or it was common knowledge that the King of Lorencia would be there at the same date the Celestial Dragon would appear. Regardless, someone looking at it from outside would certainly believe that someone set up the meeting of these two beings. A King among men and a God among Kings. At the royal palace, the king respectfully greeted the Celestial Dragon but, when he saw the servants he brought, he was immediately enchanted by the woman in skin tight outfit. In front of others, he had to keep his composure. However, in the dead of the night, he made sure to sneak into the chambers where the Celestial Dragon’s slaves slept. At the door, the blue haired woman seemed to wait for him. And it was the beginning of the disaster.

On the next day, the woman was found dead in front of Lorencia’s King’s chambers. Obviously, none of the people who worked at the castle, much less the King of Kano believed that it had been his friend that did it. However, the Celestial Dragon thought differently. He claimed that he saw how the man eyed his slave, with lust oozing out of his very gaze. And he demanded reparations. He could have asked for the king's head but, instead, he decided to take his daughter as replacement for the woman that died. She was girl who had just turned fifteen and knew nothing of the world. She spent more time looking after her younger brother than taking care of her own personal affairs. As such, she had few friends and no engagement proposals despite being considered a beauty of no equal. In that, she might be comparable to the woman who was killed mysteriously. That is, if one took into consideration her lack of experience as a woman.

The king, obviously, opposed such a thing. However, he found himself helpless when agents of the World Government, that acted as the Celestial Dragon's secret guards, stopped the king and killed the queen when she also tried to intervene. The ruler of Kano could do nothing to stop the Celestial Dragon. If he tried, his fate would be the same. When he managed to take what he wanted and left the kingdom as if he had no longer any reason to waste his time there, the Celestial Dragon embarked on his noble vessel and left to never be seen again. In shock, the King of Lorencia was unable to even move. Not only was he unable to save his daughter, he also lost his wife. Additionally, something started to bother him. The way the slave was waiting for him, how she was murdered and left at the door of his room. It was clearly done to have him framed. Was his daughter the Celestial Dragon's target the whole time? Was that why he visited Kano coincidentally? These doubts plagued the mind of the king, to the point he fell ill soon after, passing away before ever finding out the truth behind the incident.

Over the years, the people tasked with finding the truth behind the incident that caused the death of Lorencia's King and the abduction of his daughter were able to find out that everything had been set up by the Celestial Dragon. How he came to know about the girl was unknown. However, the acting king, Maximilian Regis, made it his mission to avenge his father and rescue his older sister. Little did he know. At the time, other schemes were set into motion behind the scenes. The allied kingdoms of the West Blue, one after the other, broke off all trading contracts. The sea routes leading to Lorencia were also purposely left unguarded and merchant ships coming from there were frequently attacked by pirates. Before Maximilian was even able to reach adulthood, the kingdom was brought to ruin.

The remaining members of the royal family tried their best to assist the king but, eventually, the kingdom was abandoned by the very citizens. The few who remained were the ones too poor to afford a trip on a ship or those who preferred to remain in the lawless state the country found itself in after the World Government also turned its back on them since the kingdom was no longer able to pay its taxes. Maximilian was forced to temporarily escape as the angry masses blamed him for everything that happened to the kingdom. Since then, ten years have passed and he was now setting his own plans into motion, to destroy ruin the enemies of his father. Having obtained the powers of an incredibly rare fruit, he became capable of literally breaking the spirit of his enemies.

Now, having returned to Kano, he brought an army of his own that seemed to appear out of nowhere. Humanoid creatures with characteristics that resembled rats, dogs, cats, birds and a variety of other animals, as well as a multitude of ant like ones, that composed the vast majority of this army. They had simple orders, destroy. All of Kano was to be destroyed. And, from the debris, the rat like soldiers were tasked with the retrieval of valuables.

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

Hatori had warmed his face with the sun that was present above. Hatori was conducting a precision Reimbursement, and reconstruction within the kingdom of Kano. Hatori had opened his eyes wide. He had a lot of work to be attending to. This would not be easy. Hatori took a deep breath, waiting for the drumming of his heart to slow. It doesn't. IT speeds up. Hatori knew the answer. Hatori always knew the answer. Hatori hasn't been searching for the answer. With his swords, and Mera Mera no mi. Hatori has strongly protected lives. And fought back against pirates that attempted to slaughter, raid, destroy, ect. Hatori has been searching for a justification. Hatori had begun his Reimbursement. It was not easy, but it was something that he enjoyed more than reconstruction. Hatori had the authority to begin a Reimbursement in Kano. Hatori wasn't different than many of the other military personnel. Hatori had to argue with some of the military of the kingdom here. However, his badge, along with his authority in the marines. Was fine thanks to his speeches, and decisiveness. Hatori didn't drop any bombs on the military personnel in this kingdom. They were willing to help Hatori with earning his hard work for the Reimbursement. Hatori watched other children watch silently as he began to start his work. The Reimbursement wasn't hard. He had much harder things to do in this kingdom than the Reimbursement. A lot of working men and woman look forward to the marine Hatori and his Reimbursement. Because it signals a lot of pay that they would be getting. A lot of people some needing relaxation and time with family. But for the few hours it was Hatori moving high speed with his Reimbursement. It was a particular day not giving any sign of a beginning to anything. It was Tuesday. Just in the afternoon. When Hatori had received messages from the marines headquarters. That he was doing a great job. Hatori remained on his duty with the Reimbursement. Hatoi was now wandering how long it would take himself to complete the Reimbursement. Hatori was never too quick, but this work meant that he was helping the locals here in the kingdom. Hatori wished he had more hands to help him with the Reimbursement. This was the work of a marine, after all. The dynamic was completely upended. For the first time, Hatori had the tiniest silver of hope. The Reimbursement was moving at it's best speed. Hatori didn't show weakness during the Reimbursement. It was the locals that were proud that a marine had showed up in the first place. Hatori was actually more comfortable than usual with the Reimbursement. Besides, Hatori was going to get paid for helping the kingdom of Kano. After what feels like an endless slog of time, the clock moving in slow motion. Hatori continued to help with this Reimbursement. Walking throughout the kingdom helping the locals with this Reimbursement. Hatori opened a few doors to speak with a few locals from the kingdom. Hatori enters a room wearing his entire uniform from the marines. Hatori is muscular, with a decent sized neck, prominent cheekbones, and narrow eyes spread apart in a way that suggest he was Japanese.

His hair is in one of those styles. You've never really understood before. Let's just put it that way. Hatori smiled. He was still helping with the Reimbursement around the kingdom. The right side of his head shaved in a military buzzcut with longer hair hanging over it. Down to his muscular shoulders. A cross between a Calvin Klein model, and a Eurotrash punk rocker.

Hatori scans the kingdom some more as he continued to help with the Reimbursement. But not the way most people who enter kingdoms do. Since he was strictly here on business. Working on helping the locals with the Reimbursement. First-time visiting this kingdom before. He was a little nervous at first. Not to say his rank didn't speak for his actions! Hatori was just soaking everything inside. Hatori was the only marine around the kingdom helping with the Reimbursement in the first place. Not Hatori. What you see in his eyes, behind the impenetrable wall of his face. Is pure loathing. It was a duty, however, that didn't mean he liked his duty. Hatred of the Reimbursement. Hatori should of been around to kick that pirates a**. Hatori stood for justice it was his entirety. However, this was a hard line of work. Hatori was very tense, too, on alert--wondering if someone will notice how much hard work he was putting in. Hatori was whistling with his handcuffs in his hand. Drinking some water, too. The Reimbursement always helped those who were attacked by pirates. It boosted the money around those locations that were raided.

Hatori watched some woman spill poison out of her tongue. It was very annoying to listen to her. Hatori shook his head. He was here for the Reimbursement. Not to listen to this woman speak about such stupid stuff. Hatori's accent was very heavily Japanese. Hatori wondered if this woman has ever needed one of those mental detectors. Hatori curls a thumb into the belt look of his pants uniform. There is a defiance in his eyes, a challenge. The Reimbursement was not over. However, it was very close to being fulfilled. Hatori was tapping the womans forehead. Telling her to leave the area with her stupid mouth. Hatori was making a very well hard earn pay. Here in the Kano Kingdom for the Reimbursement completed. Hatori decided to make sure this woman left. Before he completely finished the Reimbursement. Many of the locals appreciating the work he stayed for. So the stupid woman fell off the map. With Hatori celebrating after the Reimbursement was finished. Hatori's secret, he hid. Hatori didn't put it onto writing people could steal, or can intercept in his belongings. Hatori is storing it in one place only. A place that not even our sophisticated technology can penetrate--his mind.

"Hurry. The Restoration is starting." he said.

Hatori decided to begin the Restoration due to the lack of time he had. Hatori was a marine, however, his duties to other blues. Was very promised and concrete. Hatori had a hint of realization coming from the expression on his face. With the help of fifty of the locals in the kingdom. Hatori continued to help with the Restoration of Kano Kingdom. Hatori may be the only marine around that was helping with everything. However, his work was just as swift. Incredibly helpful Hatori wiped some sweat off his face. Hatori was hauling a lot with the work load he had. The Restoration was moving along very greatly. Hatori told the locals what to do. The Restoration was looking beautiful. Almost as if this place wasn't destroyed in the first place. Hatori always had the best interest of innocents. Especially in a kingdom like this he's never been to before. Reciting the pieces of work most of the locals had accomplished. Hatori was overseeing the responsibility for all the locals helping out today. It doesn't take many of them long to complete their duties. Hatori also had the right to take command of this Restoration.

Patriotism was never going to factor. If this marine ever had an unselfish thought, as others mothers would say, it would die of loneliness. Hatori told the world that the speaker put aside partisan differences, and did the right thing for his country. Hatori was many things more than just someone strong in the marines. Hatori had held up many examples for his own affiliation. Hatori continued to help with the Restoration. Hearing the things Hatori said, and watching his command, and work with the Restoration. He was easily able to make a lot of friends on this island. Hatori couldn't prevent the terrorist attack from the pirates. However, Hatori did put his help in creating the Restoration for Kano Kingdom. Sometimes you couldn't promise that things would come out unscathed. Hatori was grateful that the locals were understanding what they heard from him. Hatori raised his fist allowing the others to gain their spirits back. For the rest of their lives on Kano Kingdom. Living happily without any threats from the pirates of this generation. Hatori had offered himself to the Kingdom of Kano. Which was very successful because the Restoration was finished. Hatori had finished everything with a proud smile on his face. It means that when you find a mountain to expose in one person, or party. You have to pick a molehill on the other side and make it into a mountain to avoid being dishonest, and accused of bias. Hatori had helped with his part of his duty. Now it was time for the people to continue the rest of their lives.

As Hatori was leaving the island, and on his way. Everyone was giving him toasts, and wishing him a good life. Hatori had ran this show with an efficiency that impressed many people of the kingdom. Hatori had never seen such a beautiful kingdom before.

                                                Dr. Minou Mhaolain

A black cat in a suit would walk out of a building on the main street of a busy city. He disposes of two latex gloves in a waste-bin nearby and readjusts his tie. The white collar of his shirt was buttoned high despite the humid heat that was accompanied by the sound of cicadas screaming. Cherry blossoms were on the wind today, the trees reaching peek bloom in the last month. A slow inhale then a soft sigh escaped the good doctor. He had just finished treating someone in the early stages of syphilis with a single intramuscular injection of long acting Benzathine penicillin G. The woman, who was a lady of the night, would have to receive regular doses at a weekly interval and Dr. Minou had left specific instructions for the beautiful woman and her attendant. With that particular business done, Dr. Minou Mhaolain was eager to find a place to sit down and eat. Those startling green cat eyes roved the street, settling on a nearby ramen shop. Hmm, he stroked his chin, resting his elbow in his other hand. "Dat might chucker." He thought aloud, his lilting accent containing the hint of a purr. A long black tail would swish back and forth, stretching the fabric of an expensive pair of dress pants. He makes his way across the busy intersection slowly, avoiding pedestrians as they walk by him. The cat was much shorter than the people of this area, only standing at four-eight and was very hard to notice in the crowd. This made his journey from one side of the street arduous, as it was mid-day and the markets were full.

"Pardon me. t'anks. 'ey excuse me. dat is me tail yer are standin' on."

                                                        Morgana Laporte

XXX What a long day it had been. After waking up Morgana had used her feline charm to secure breakfast, and then had napped on somebody's rooftop until the sun had risen high in the sky and the heat had become unbearable. So she had moved to a tree, pestering the local birds until their incessant singing faded into the distance with them, and promptly napped some more. Eventually it was the sound of the screaming cicadas and the normal hustle and bustle of the humans taking their meal breaks that woke her once more. The cat's ears twitched in annoyance, eyes opening a sliver as she was pulled from her lovely dreaming state. Why did everything have to be so loud and busy?! Perhaps it was time for her to leave this Kingdom for someplace quieter and sleepier. Shifting her weight, Morgana stretched deeply with a wide yawn, exposing her sharp teeth.

Hopping down from her perch, she figured she may as well hunt down some gullible person to be her next meal ticket. Before she could though, her attention was caught by someone strikingly similar to herself! Clearly of the Mink race, though they appeared a bit different. She would watch with a small hint of amusement as the other feline crossed the street, little tux and all. Trotting after him, she'd weave around the legs of the humans who hardly seemed to notice her, further entertained by the politeness to his voice even with someone standing on his tail. "Purrriririri~." Half a purr and half a laugh, she'd flick her tail to tap the Minkman on his back. "What are you being so polite for? If someone is bothering you, you should show your claws, and they will not bother you anymore." Though to him her words made sense, to anyone else it would simply seem as if she were meowing.

Arching her back, she fluffed her fur up, emitting a high pitched screech that caught the attention of the offending human standing on the poor cat's tail. A deep hiss and her bared fangs brought about the quick reaction of the woman coiling back with a startled cry, profusely apologizing to the doctor, and jetting off. "Purriririri! Indeed! Be gone from my presence!" Phew. How tiresome. She was ready for another nap.

                                                        Chaos Reclaimer--

The young lass only desired to work a simple and quick job to make a little extra money on the side, she was surprised the owner of the ramen shop even allowed her in with her....born natural looks. Blue grey fur covered her entire body and bright white hair spread from a-top her head that tumbled down into pretty curls. Sharp tipped yet rounded ears poked out from either side and flicked left and right with all the sound, her clawed furry hands grasping three to four bowls of ramen at once while she delicately held four more bowls against the curve of her side using her tail. She bounded quickly along the tables placing down orders left and right without truly paying attention, she was focused on the job at hand and wanted nothing more than to prove that she was a worthwhile part timer. The last bowl on her tail would be placed and she would swipe at her brow in satisfaction, well up until.

"Pardon me. t'anks. 'ey excuse me. dat is me tail yer are standin' on."

One paw lifted immediately as she did a strange hopping dance before she'd immediately get on her knees and do a quick formal bow. The screech of a cat immediately turning her insides cold.

"I am sorry sir! My deepest apologies for stepping on your beautiful tail!"

She was quick with her words and she only dared to peek up once to see a furry black face similar to her own as well as a shadow of his, curiosity was immediately piqued but she quickly gazed back down on the floor.

"Allow me to get you some ramen as an apology!" she continued quickly before standing up and putting her hands in front of her legs clasping them together before offering another quick half bow, "Please tell me what you would like, I'd be happy to pay for it." she murmured sincerely as she would await the minkman's answer.

                                                Dr. Minou Mhaolain

Dr. Minou was just about to reach up and tug politely on the sleeve of the woman who had stepped on his fluffy tail. She was a young looking lady, clearly a fellow mink with grayish fur. She looked much like a fox, though she stood a full head taller than the young doctor. The girl was graceful, clearly practiced with juggling bowls of ramen. Before he could get her attention she reacted quickly, preforming a rather amusing hop. At the same time, another cat walked up behind the smart-dressed feline and prodded him in the back with her tail. She offered a helpful hint, perhaps he shouldn't be so polite when someone was standing on your sensitive and easily breakable tail. Though, to humans, the small black-cat would appear to just be meowing at the minkman. "Oi chucker not let me claws c** oyt so easily though." His voice was like the smell of clovers and the sound of a brook babbling in a country-side forest. The cats expression remained as stony as ever as those pale-green hues leapt from Morgana and the fox-girl, only slowly blinking as his gaze remained on either one for any prolonged period of time. "Birds birds, so'tiz quite gran' so. naw nade ter be flustered an' naw nade ter apologize. al' is well, oi assure yer." A low rumble would echo in his chest as he waved his paws dismissively. Though his ears perked at the mention of ramen, in particular at the sound of "Please tell me what you would like, I'd be happy to pay for it." He would bow in response, offering what he had learned was a traditional sign of respect.

"Well, if yer are offerin'. Den a bowl av ramen wi' a side av fried squid, perhaps a jar. Tanks."

                                                        Morgana Laporte

XXX It made no sense to Morgana why this Mink preferred not to show his claws or bare his fangs when those around him literally trampled him. It had always been easier to get what she wanted - people leaving her alone - when she came across as a moody, agitated feline. "To each their own, though the world may not be kinder to you for it." As it turned out the one who was stepping on the cat's tail was in fact another Mink, fox-like in nature. A slight tilt to her head followed the waitresses apology, a slight rumbling in her throat. "Ah, yes! You have secured your meal ticket for the afternoon!" It was violence that got her peace and quiet, but it was always softening people up and playing sweet that got her treats. While the two spoke to each other over the details of the meal - ramen and squid - Morgana trotted closer to the Mink woman, rubbing her cheek against her leg and purring. "Indeed! And bring me some tuna! The freshest you have!" Once more, it would come across as mere meowing to everyone besides the doctor, and Morgana pawed gently at the waitress' skirt, upturning her begging eyes to her.

Hae Soo stared at the male and then back to the smaller feline that seemed to be his shadow, she'd offer the other cat a gentle smile assuming that it must be related to the minkman's tail she just stepped on. Curiosity hit her again as the male spoke and it took her a few moments to decipher his words before she'd look fairly relieved, she was glad she hadn't upset the man. With a quick remark about what he would like she would nod and draw out a ticket from the small apron she wore. Writing down the order in a few quick scribbles she'd only notice something brushing against her paws to see the smaller black cat rubbing against her legs, she'd stare at the feline's begging face and hear what she assumed were to be pitiful meows.

"What for the little one? I'm going to say a tasty bit of salmon?"

The question was cheerful and sweet as she would lean down and very careful give the cat and single gentle pat, not wanting to offend the cat were it sentient like most minkman, she'd stand again and take a quick bow after recieving the order and gestured to the bar at the back of the house with two open seats.

"May I offer you the seats at the bar? We have some silver vine ( cat n** ) sake here if you'd like some."

Hae Soo would tend to their needs and then dash off to turn in the order before continuing her job for a little bit.

                                                Dr. Minou Mhaolain

"Aye. oi tink dis gran' wee tin' wud loike sum cod."

Dr. Minou would say softly as he looked down at Morgana and back up to Hae Soo. Again, he would habitually correct his tie. Then with a swift flourish remove his outer coat and hang it over one of his arms. "Much too much violence in de warrld ter forget our manners." A polite smile would spread across that feline mouth as he gave a small glance back to Morgana "After yer me lady." he would say with a bow and a sweeping arm, allowing Morgana to walk ahead of him. He stepped forward behind the smaller cat and into the quaint diner. With a graceful gait, the doctor would walk up to the bar and pull a chair out for Morgana before seating himself. The place was quite busy, so he wondered if the rest of the patrons would care that two cats were taking coveted bar seats. "Oi 'ill pass on de wine. perhaps yer 'av sum coy juice instead?" He would ask, suavely leaning onto the bar as he addressed Hae Soo. It was at this point that the fox (?) would find herself attending to her duties and working on the orders. They seemed quite understaffed for such a busy day, but Dr. Minou was a patient minkman. "So waaat brings a bonny cuttie such as yerself ter parts loike dees? He would ask as he turned his piercing, jade gaze back to Morgana.

Hae Soo did a light bow at the mention of getting some cod, she quickly scribbled the order down and did a half twirl to quickly attend to the many guests about. Tagging the piece of paper onto the counter while writing for them to take it out of her pay she would turn to grab many bowls of ramen and place them a top her tail. Holding multiple bowls she'd trot off and attend to many a people, though it would seem she would run into trouble at one of the tables.

"I didn't ask for animal fur in my soup girl."

A voice growled at her before she would be splashed with hot soup that scalded her slightly, her arm burned as she would recoil and keep the other bowls safe, she winced as the men at the table all sneered and onlookers immediately quieted.

"I dunno why they let some animal thing even work here!" he snapped at her pointing an accusing finger as his company laughed, "Ain't you ashamed lookin like that? Why don't you shave all the fur off, maybe you'd be acceptable then huh beasty?" he continued on berating her as she would look apologetic. Carefully balancing the food still she would manage a bow, "Apologies sir, I'll have one of the human servers bring your food. No extra charges." she explained sincerely before she'd turn and immediately feel the bowls on her tail be flipped up. Hae Soo's tail became soaked in hot liquid and she would squeal in pain before flitting away while the men all laughed, she whimpered softly as she would quickly make her way to the back and use the back alley to rinse off her burned body parts. Running her claws through her tail she would sigh and continue to wash up.

When she came back in the chef was staring at her quizzically, "It's nothing, I uh...upset a customer." she murmured before grabbing the remade food for the other tables and tottering off with minor winces here and there, she was quick to finish up before returning to her other guests with their food, "One Shoyu bowl with extra fried squid on the side and a nice cooled cod for the lass." she offered with a warm smile placing the food down and refilling their drinks. Hae Soo would start to mix drinks while they ate, "How is everything so far?" she asked broadly, a minor attempt at conversation while she cheated some of the cold off the drinks against her sore arm.

                                                Dr. Minou Mhaolain

Dr. Minou loosened his tie and rolled up his sleeves as he descended from his stool. His eyes were thin shards of hateful jade. The men at the table who had thrown hot bowls at Hae Soo had made a grave mistake. It was true. He didn't often bare his claws. It had led him into trouble in the past. But despite his small stature, that cat was not a kitten.

                                                He was a panther.

While the men were still laughing, Dr. Minou drew something long and with a silver sheen from his breast pocket. He placed his spectacles over his eyes to hide those emerald hues as he walked up to the table of belligerent men. "What do you want furball? You her tom or somethin'? Get lo-AAAGH!" The whole diner went quiet once more except for the pained scream of the man who had originally splashed the innocent woman with the hot soup. Lodged between two of his knuckles was a thin scalpel, deeply embedded in the wood and bent at the tip.

                                                "Pull it oyt."

The statement was not a question or a polite suggestion. It was an order. "You sonavabi- ... I-I can't get it out..I CAN'T GET IT OUT!" The man begun to stand, trying to pull the blade from the wood. His voice quickly began to tremble as he realized that the scalpel was driven too deep into the wood to remove with his strength alone. His compatriots stood to help their friend, finding their efforts fruitless as well. With a flourish, and relative ease, Dr. Minou would reach up and remove the blade.

"Yer may pay an' leave. please an' tanks."

The cat would already be wiping the blood from the surgical instrument. He adjusted his glasses on the bridge of his long snout and placed the scalpel back in his pocket. No longer paying any heed to the men, he turned and made his way back to the bar. But it wasn't over yet. One of the men got it in their head to try to pick a fight with him. Only for the good doctor to turn his head and shoot a predatory gaze over his spectacle. Not unlike a look a big-cat would get just before it pounced on a helpless gazelle. The man froze in place, and Minou continued to walk, readjusting his tie and rolling his white sleeves back down over his wrists. The black-cat would jump back up to the bar, ignoring the agape stares that pierced his back.

The men filed out one by one, only the last one even leaving some kind of pay. Their bowls were still nearly full as Hae Soo came tottering back in from the back after tending to her burns. Dr. Minou's normal gentle expression was on his face once more, and his spectacles tucked back safely in his pocket. He gave Hae Soo a soft smile as she politely asked how everything was. "'ere, for de burns." The doctor would reach over and gently cup Hae Soo's paw, placing a sealed container in her palm.

"A burn salve. olive oil an' sum dried 'erbs. apply it once a day or as needed 'til it 'eals.
