Abby smiled, knowing exactly what was going on with her aunt. "These parties are always amazing. And last year~" She paused, placing a hand on her heart. "Last year was so much fun~" She doubted she'd ever get to fire off arrows again, but the fact that she'd had the chance, it would be a memory forever.
Abby nodded her agreement, trying to keep her mind off the thought of firing arrows. "After everything that keeps happening at these parties, I'm thrilled pae keep showing up. It's heart warming to see everyone turn out to enjoy Grandmother's parties~" The demi couldn't help it. She really was thrilled pae showed up. Maybe it was the lure of love, or the parties, but it was always something worth noting. These parties would be remembered for all time.
Reaching up, she hugged Harmonia once more. "Please, don't let me keep you from your Champion~" Abby was still all smiles, nodding towards the handsome fae that was near her aunt. "Have you spotted Uncle Himeros or my father?" Time to wander off and mingle. Catch up with other family members.

Completely missing the mark, Harmonia smiled warmly interpreting her niece's actions as a sign she had found someone the last party. Hand over the heart was instantly taken to romantic feelings and the assumption was fully embraced. "Oh I am so happy you had a great time!" Just who might have taken her niece's attentions? She deserved to be happy and devoted on like her.
That was a true gift, "I know Venus is pleased, she deserves this too." This was how things were supposed to be, it was empowering and touching at the same time.
Oh, that earned another smile and a happy sigh, "I have such a great champion." no humility to be found there. Following though was a question only a good intentioned female family member would ask, "What about you, darling? Have you found a champion as well?" There was on sharing hers but she was all over Abby getting her own.
With the question she shook her head, "My brothers don't tend to show up until the main dance. I'll tell them you were looking for them if I see them." Well Pothos anyway, Himeros might be another story depending on how he decides to act.
Dementia Requiem Asumi harmonia really missed the mark and it amuses me. heart

Autumn was legions away from considering the eventual effect the warm air would have on his delicate skin, instead basking in the feeling of it all in combination with that of Pearl's soft hand. If left to his own vices, he coudl find himself getting lost to that smooth sensation...
"Drinks?"
He echoed her thoughts before smiling, giving her a nod, and an additional thumbs up.
"Drinks; got it!" Squinting and looking around, he perked up as he noticed the bar and motioned it to her. At that he pulled her over and onwards to the location, not noticing his sister was on the other end. Frankly, he was so caught up in being with his amazing girlfriend that he probably wouldn't notice her unless she outright spoke to him.
"Grammy is fine," she responded to Keri's use of ma'am with her without pause; it was almost a gag they had going at this point, and the other handmaidens and those-in-training nearly laughed every time it happened. Or, it would have been a gag if the two in question realized how silly it appeared to onlookers. As it was, it was merely one silly component of their daily ritual, and for how well she was coming along as a lady-in-training for this lady-in-waiting who really at this point was a lady-training-a-lady-in-training.
Confusing, wasn't it?
Vera scowled at her mate's dismissive tone and walked over to give him a small flick on the forehead. This wasn't the sort of help she'd wanted; this was just enabling his bad mood! "Oh hush you. Just as bad as your son sometimes; I wonder from whom he got it. Haven't I told you not to speak if you haven't anything kind to say on the matter?"
"But I was just-!"
Pipping down at an unusually sharp glare from his beloved, he bit his lip and pouted in an almost childlike manner from her scolding as he muttered some sort of indistinguishable profanities about the surface and the woman next to him under his breath. Never could win an argument with her, even after all these years.
Satisfied with her now-quieted mate, she gave Pippin a gentle smile. "I think you might be onto something right there. You grammy here does not really understand these sorts of things, but you are brighter a girl than me. And so gentle and kind. Surely there is a use for us up here if we can move so easily - once we get our land-bearings anyways! I have heard of quite a few naiad living closer to the surface with the land pae'il." Rather than the scorn her husband always used the term, she used it as a simple description. "Besides, we are here, so no use thinking about it too hard; just enjoy the time."
Hjortur understood quite well just how... overbearing... his mother could be to him; for someone as quiet as Kelebek here beside him, that component of her personality must have been nearly unbearable. The fact she'd held on so well was a testimate to her own tenacity. That said, they were here to relax and enjoy themselves, not keep up with his mother's wiles. Even if they'd come together, everynaiad - he, his parents, and the kids (although they weren't really kids anymore) - deserved some time to themselves.
Pippin's suggestion came at just the perfect opportunity. Smiling in a way that indicated he knew she wasn't actually going to her room, he gave her a wave, "Have fun! Let me know if any of the boys come after you and I'll send them running~!" His cheerful tone betrayed his own sense of seriousness in what he was saying; perhaps that was part of the reason Pippin didn't have many peers that she was close to, he ran away any that might seem to be a potential suitor. It wasn't that he was protective, per-say, he just didn't want her getting led astray by any bad males who acted like himself.
A bad habit he'd likely picked up from his own father, really.
"Enjoy yourself Pippin~ Find a nice boy to bring home~" Unlike her son's response, hers was carefree and receptive. As far as she was concerned, all her (grand)babies were grown up and she needed some more cute tailfins to spoil. Both of her granddaughters were so well brought-up and polite (how in the sea that irresponsible son of hers, bless his heart, managed that, she figured was just to his earnestness), yet they were also so docile! They'd never give her darling great-grandchildren at this rate!
Call it the mischievousness of an old woman, but it could be fun to encourage them to do something spontaneous out here. With a boy. Or girl; she didn't judge. After all, she was just a (grand)lady-in-waiting(-for-more-grandchildren-to-spoil).
Wolfs Heart Hjortur -> Pippin Vera -> Pippin Waving also to Kerianna, he quietly held a finger to his mouth as he winked, indicating for her to not say anything, as he took Kelebek's hand and moved in the other direction towards the distant beach. Time to get the hell outta...
Too bad Vera was far too observant for her own good at the worst of times. From the corner of her eye she saw that son of hers sneaking off with Kelebek - oh how she enjoyed her! what a cutie; if only her parents could see how she'd grown... - and she simply couldn't let it go without comment. Raising her hands to her lips, she called out to the pair.
"Keep it simple you two! Nothing too crazy out there." To her son's look at abject disgust, she gave a playfull, 'tee-hee' winking smiley face.
And then there were three.
"Would you like to head off too, Keri-dear?"
Menelie Hjortur -> Kelebek Vera -> Kelebek

Serendipity stretched her arms high above her head as she stepped onto the beach. The warm air felt to fantastic on her skin, and her wings fluttered happily as she strolled through the soft sands. Over her shoulder was an empty bag for collecting sea shells, and upon her head was a large straw hat. She had already dropped off her belongings in her room, but wasn't quite ready to settle down for food or sleep. Besides, there was so much of this place to explore! She hadn't seen Iordanes yet, but she knew their paths would eventually cross; he was going to be quite busy, with Venus' party and all. No, she was just going to spend her time enjoying the warm weather and bringing back some pretty trinkets as memories.
Navi was nearly skipping as she carried her bag into the resort lounge. The last time she'd been here had been just so fascinating, so exciting! Sure, there had been the super cute little feline like pae that had attacked them, then there was the bug attack she'd gone through, but all in all it'd been fun.
With a soft giggle, Andromeda slid her hand down Darias' arm until it rested on the curved metal of his hook. "Aye, 't would seem we're here, we'd better get ashore before all the good rooms are taken and get settled before the festivities start." She gave her beloved a quick kiss on the cheek before standing up and grabbing her bag. "Shall we?"
Azalea was having a tizzy of a time, her eyes wide as she took in everything around her. She'd never really been outside of the City, so everything she saw was a completely new experience. Of course, this meant she had no idea where she was supposed to go to check in, or to drop off her belongings. Her head swiveled left and right until she saw one of the younger hostesses, a purple one, and made her way over.
"Excuse me? Could you help me check in?" Thankfully she was naturally pink, so her embarrassed flush was hidden.
