[Current arrow effect: Beauty -> Shahrazad] Color rose to Kelebek's face. She was unaccustomed to being called beautiful. "You are too kind," she murmured.
"What brings me here?" she repeated, thunderstruck yet again by the lilt and cadence of Shahrazad's voice, which was as pleasing as her name. "I...to be honest I'm not entirely sure. My family, they, um, they said I needed to relax." She contemplated the liquid in the glasses before them, as they'd made their way to the table. She lifted a smile at the yellow goddess, who seemed very happy to see them.
Kelebek wasn't sure what wine was, but took the same kind as Shahrazad did. There was a dark red kind and an almost golden-looking kind. She lifted the glass to her lips and took a small sip.
Her eyes widened as a powerful memory, one she'd almost forgotten, suddenly surfaced in her mind. This...this was the same land-dweller drink from all those years ago! The one that she and Turin... She stared intently at her glass. But it was different somehow. It had the same throat-warming feel, and smelled nearly the same, but this was....smoother. It felt like sunshine on her tongue. Surely something this delicious couldn't have the same ill effects as the last time, right?
Realizing that she must look rather odd, she smiled nervously at Shahrazad.

[Current arrow effects: None] Pearl nodded emphatically at Autumn with a wide smile. "Yeah! You got it!" He wasn't the smoothest dancer, but probably neither was she, and something about the way he moved made her want to...kiss him?
Suddenly she bit her bottom lip. She felt hot. And thirsty. But they'd only just started dancing! She could hold out at least until the end of the song, right? She kept up her movements, even throwing her arms in the air and laughing once she was sure she had her balance. And she moved just a little closer to him. Maybe on accident. Maybe.

Cascade's face turned a bright shade of red as a angel in a long coat asked her for a dance. "O...Ok." She stuttered slightly before shyly taking his hand. He really wanted to dance with her? As she slowly stood up it became clear that her skin seemed to shine in the light, like someone dusted the female in stardust. "I'm umm...Not really good at dancing." She was looking to the ground with a soft blush across her face. She was nervous. What if she messed up and hurt him? Oh no....
Unlike when she was waiting for him before boarding, this time she was certain he'd show. So she was patient, simply enjoying pae-watching. Everyone was dressing up like a fairy tale, all with the hopes of deepening love, or finding it. It was so romantic.
At a familiar voice, her emerald eyes swung from the dance floor below to the side before settling on Lucius. He dressed up! The wilwarin flashed a winning smile. "Hey! You clean up nicely!" She didn't mind his put off attitude, by now she was growing used to it. Even found it slightly endearing. Because sometimes...just sometimes...if she waited long enough he'd do something sweet.
Like him taking her hand.
"That sounds fair to me." She agreed with a bit of a giggle, walking with him down the stairs. And then suddenly she felt something. She couldn't pin put what exactly, just a strange shift within her. She glanced over at her escort to see if he felt it too. Her heart gave a leap inside of her chest, and all at once him holding her hand seemed like the most important thing ever.
Uh oh. Something was wrong. Was this love?

He needed to hit one more pae, at least, before his mother wouldn't give him any grief... But who?
It was then he spotted a graceful naiad gushing over what he was almost certain was a walking cat. While he had seen these cat demons before, Eros still was a bit confused by them. Still, she looked remarkably unpricked, and that just would not stand at a Venusian party.
Another arrow was loaded, Eros took a deep breath to steady himself, and he let it fly. Sure enough, it found purchase in Shahrazad. He grinned.
Excellent.
Before heading back to the Captain's Chambers, he took a moment to wave and flash an apologetic smile at Psyche. He had work to do, after all, like making sure this cruise didn't turn into another disaster... He flew off.
Not long after, Voluptas arrived in Eros' place. She settled above the celebrations, simply keeping watch over them and her grandmother, mostly in case Eros was needed for anything else.
Besides, watching these mortals was delightful! They all acted so foolish...

Bastet stared curiously at the pae holding the plate of snacks she had been about to take a treat from. "Hello..." She responded in a tone that conveyed that she had no idea what was going on. "Um... thank you?" Bastet grabbed one of the treats that was offered to her. She scratched herself delicately behind the ear with her free hand, this was awkward.
She felt some strange sensation in her rear and growled, only it was a playful growl directed at Navidad. Bastet puffed out her chest, suddenly desiring to show off to Navidad. "I am Bastet," she said in her most regal voice, running a hand through her mohawk of hair before striking a pose. She then spun around, letting her fluffy tail tickle Navidad's nose. Hopefully she wasn't allergic to cats.

They almost didn't go to the party. Thaddeus had been fretting over his poor mate since the boat started to move. He really didn't do well on the water and Thaddeus was doing his best to support him but it was his wish to come to this party so here they were. Thaddeus had thrown on a simple tux and bow tie, nothing too too fancy. He wasn't much for getting everything perfect. Spending time with Nama was enough. He couldn't help but laugh as he spotted Hymnaois. "Hey Nama, how about I ask him about where he gets his suit huh? I'll wear one like that for you." He snickers.
Kleta chuckled as she watched the arrow of her sister, Phaenna, soar across the room and strike the hero of Kleta's first target. She though that it would be amusing to watch their arrows interact together. Kleta made a mental note to keep an eye on those two.
Her eyes wandered over to Himeros, up to no good at the bar. "Oh brother," she mumbled quite literally with a shake of her head. She found a chair to lounge in and listen to Hymnaios sing for awhile, he did have a delightful voice.
Kleta decided it was time to shoot off another one of her arrows, and scanned the room for her next victim from her comfortable little chair. She spotted Pelagious first and shivered, maybe it was best to not get so comfortable. Kleta got up from her chair and continued to peruse potential pae.
At last she spotted a harpy with some poor pae standing in front of them, sobbing. That would just not do at mother's party, as security it was her job to fix these sorts of things. Maybe being worshipped would put that sobbing pae in a better mood. Of course it would put that pae in a better mood, who didn't enjoy being worshipped? Unaware that the sobbing pae was under the curse of Potho's arrow, Kleta sent an arrow flying towards Saira. Look at Kleta, being the noble hero making sure everyone at mother's party was happy.

Azure's heart felt like it could race right out of his chest from the way Dyas was looking at him with those big dual-colored eyes. No one else had eyes like her's (not even her identical twin). He hardly knew what to do with himself in this moment, but he continued to dance with her, pulling her close to him in a protective manner. Yes, he was shielding her beauty from all those who might look upon her. If others realized how beautiful she was, male and female alike would surely be lined up for miles to try and steal her away from him.
Azure knew he was not worthy of her beauty, he felt hideous standing next to her glorious presence. "Dyas, if only you knew how special you really are."
Koit... had most certainly NOT been expecting something of this kind from his cool and collected dancing partner. Like... actually... what...? He had no idea how to react, what sort of comment to make... His confusion was certainly plain as day on his face.
"Umm..."
What did one say in this situation.
"Thank you...?"
Despite the clearly awkward tone of his voice, he tried. Was that appropriate enough? Reaching down, he tried as best he could to get her to stand up, clearly trying to ignore the deafening awkward between the two of them. "I... uh... appreciate it..."
"Let's go get some drinks." Maybe that would help? Of course it would help.
What had just happened. One moment she was being praised for all the wonder that she was, but now... Well, she was still being praised, but this fish-girl was crying. Saira didn't know what to do with crying. But stare.
A moment passed with the harpy unsure of what to do before an unfamiliar p***k hit her on the side, and a solution seemed to spread in her conscious. This one who had come and spoken to her about how wonderful she was... she was everything Saira aspired to be! A true hero; true to their emotions, to their desires, and true to others (except that stupid pigeon), She couldn't let her hero suffer like this!
"No! You mussn't cry!" Reaching out, the harpy tenderly wiped away a tear form her face before pulling her close. "You are too amazing for tears Cerelia." Oh Guardians she was holding her hero so close <3.

"The opposite of my situation then; I came here to relax, but my children followed me." and they had paid the price in doing so. As they arrived the golden goddess, Shahrazad gave her a smile and thanks as she picked up a glass filled with a liquid of the most lovely gold color, almost as deep as her own jewelry. Bringing it closely to her pursed lips to taste, she smiled lightly. "Delectable as always, wouldn't you say~?" holding the glass forward, she looked intently at the naiad before her, "Shall we share a toast to our meeting and of an enjoyable evening?"
Following a negligible p***k in her shoulder, the cat found herself devilishly allured to her female companion. That awkward smile of hers was simply too cute; ah~ this wistful feeling must be love. Smiling tenderly, she brought her class back for another sip. "So, Love, tell me more of you~ I want to know everything."

Thalia took a bit longer than normal to hang back and admire her handiwork; as much as she loved her children, this was her life's work and passion, and it was good to leave the twins in someone else's capable hands for a little while while she got out and did what she did best.
Party!
Though, there wasn't all fun and games for her. Parties were hard work, making sure all the guests were taken care of, that the food was present, that it was the proper food, that it was cooked correctly, that it wasn't cooked if it shouldn't be, all of that. It was fulfilling work, but it was exhausting.
Thus why she was hanging back a little bit.
Of course she'd seen Hjortur, had been pleased to see him. They hadn't been able to meet in a while due to countless factors, but she'd been hoping they could arrange a day out at some point. She waved at him, smiling warmly. She missed him. Maybe Venus would be willing to let her take a small vacation after the celebrations were all over? There wouldn't be another holiday for a little bit yet, after all.
Speaking of duties to attend to... Thalia scanned the crowd, rising up on the tips of her toes to get a better look.
Oh, the kids would love these when they got older...
Ah! She grinned at the sight of a very pretty brown fae with delicate white markings. Hopefully this fae liked dancing! Thalia hummed and shot off an arrow in her direction.
Her second target wasn't hard to find, either, what with the bright, warm yellows and pinks covering the harpy. She would be very pretty as she danced, that was for sure!

Was he trying to hide himself behind her? That simply wouldn't do, his beauty had to be shared with the everyone! She had the most beautiful and handsome husband ever, and who didn't like the bit of pride at making others jealous?
She turned her head to rest it against his head, listening to his heart. It was beating so fast. How could he think that she was so wonderful, when she paled in comparison? Even the golden god with the -admittedly amazing- singing couldn't hold her attention when she was with Azure. She hoped she was able to convey to him just how much he meant to her.

Oh guardians. She wanted to lock herself in a closet for the rest of the year. Her face was beat red, hidden by her midnight skin. Eyes fixated on the purple flying demon. Why had she done that? Even now she was fighting her mouth to remain closed to stop any more from escaping.
He reacted badly. Of course he did, she was making a fool of herself! She tried to smile as he pulled her up. Tried to apologize for being so unlike herself. She opened her mouth, "I love that you're so kind. You're running through my mind. Is there a drink with maybe lime? I don't know how to rhyme. Pleaaaase don't be ashamed of meeeeee." This was not a musical! Why was she singing?! And so horribly at that?!
She had to think logically about this. It was what she did best. Her body obviously wanted her to sing, so she should at least try to sing well. Think Niday. You've heard Dayht a thousand times. Her twin sister was so musically inclined. She took a deep breath. Songs were simply poems, she could write poems.
"If I had a thousand places I could go, I would stay with you. I would stay. So please, lets take this slow.

[Adelphos Current Arrow Effect: NONE] Adelphos had brought a quite nice jacket and tie for the party. Not only did he want to look nice for Ruby, but he wanted to represent his family well. The jacket was black with thin ice blue pinstripes, and the bow tie matched. As they walked in to the sounds of a Cupid Quartet, he smiled and slid his arm around Ruby's. "You look lovely tonight, my dear," he murmured to her. He really hoped that this would be a nice, normal party and that he and Ruby could have a nice, normal time.
Unfortunately, his grandmother was not known for nice, normal parties. He supposed the best he could hope for was a good time before all hell broke loose. "Would you like something to drink?" he asked with only a little blush. Under the refreshments table held certain...memories for the two of them.
[Firuzeh Current Arrow Effect: NONE] Ruzeh had found the perfect dress just a couple days before the trip and she had not let Noir see it. She wanted it to be a surprise for him when she come out wearing it before the party. When she came out of the bathroom, she had twirled for him and the skirt flared out in a bell shape until she came to a stop. Her hair was pinned up in a simple bun with curled tendrils framing her face. The look on his face had meant more to her than anything he could have said and with a kiss, she leaned against him before they headed for the party.
"Think something...out of the ordinary will happen again this year?" she asked as they stepped into the party hall. Her stomach still felt a little queasy, but she was still ignoring it in favor of hopefully a good time at the party tonight.
[Ophelia Current Arrow Effect: NONE] ((Warning, Ophie's dress is uh. sexy? xDD)) Ophelia smirked as she walked into the party. Her dress for this evening was on point, if she did say so herself. Well. If you could really call it a dress, that was. It was something that had been shoved into the backity back of her closet a while ago, some time after she had taken responsibility of Valko. It wasn't a very 'mom' type of dress, and while she didn't want to look frumpy she also didn't want to embarrass her son. But Valko wasn't here, so Ophelia could dress however she wanted.
The material was soft and shiny, and there was a something of a secret holding her... assets in place. Though if she met the right guy (or girl, for that matter; she didn't care so much about genders) that secret could be whisked away. She made her way to the bar first, figuring that a little liquid fire would do her some good. It had been a while since she'd been to a party like this.
[Arc-en-Roche Current Arrow Effect: NONE] Arc arrived at the party with Lyneeson, wearing the jacket his friend had gotten specifically for this trip. He felt a little nervous about this. He still wasn't very good at the whole flirting thing, especially since he still had a tendency to stutter terribly around people he didn't know well. Which meant the only people he spoke clearly around were his parents, his sister, and Lyneeson.
"So... Where do you think we should start, Lyn?" he asked his friend. His tail twitched a little nervously as he looked around at all the people. Maybe it would be a good idea to start at the bar. Arc had never been much of a drinker, but he'd heard that some called it liquid courage. If that was true, maybe he should take up drinking... He'd see what Lyn wanted to do first, though. "Maybe the bar?"
[Carnelian Current Arrow Effect: NONE] Since she was a stowaway, all she'd brought with her was one bag that she could sneak on board with her. That being the case, space had been at a premium when it came to what clothes she brought with her. And yet she still managed to shove a cute little silver dress in her bag. It had only been a little wrinkled when she pulled it out this morning, but there had been plenty of time to smooth out the wrinkles and it looked fabulous if she said so herself.
She had promised her grandmother that at the very least, she would stay away from the bar. She was underage and already not supposed to be here. She didn't want to get thrown out of the party completely because she couldn't hold her liquor. So non-alcoholic punch it was.
Luminita arrived decidedly late to the party, a certain hop-in-her-step propelling her forward as she did. For her part, she wore a strapless dress with heart-shaped hemline that came together at her waist before poofing out to all sides. The top was a glittery black, while the bottom was more of a smooth white material. Was there patch with a rather large, black cat sown onto one side? Yes. Yes there was. Her feet were adorned with some cute (and functional) blue sandals that clasped between the big and other ties and again on her ankles, which the material wrapped around.
Walking in, she nodded to herself as she began her observations of things likely already well on their way. "Self mental notebook observation 1~!" she said aloud before laughing, having meant that only for the mind gnome that controlled her inner dialogue. 'Self mental notebook observation for just me 1: I need sweets.'
At that, she went off to go procure some snacks.

The song slowly came to an end, and Hymn had a moment to really take in the scene around him. A slow smirk caused his lip to curl back as he realized the party was in full swing. He noticed an arrow or two going off and he suppose it was about time he did the same. As much fun as he was having, he didn't want to be left out on these kind of festivities.
“How all my babehs doing? We having a good time?” his voice came out in a drawn out purr into the microphone. He looked back at the cherubs and nodded at them, "How 'bout we slow it down a bit? Mhhmmm?" A slow tempo started up, and he took a moment to slide a hand through his hair. Ah, good, it was still in place. The sucker had taken him all night to perfect it better get through a few songs.
He took a few steps back, snapping his fingers along with the beat. His voice came out loud and clear a grin on his face as he sang, “Wise men say, only fools rush in But I can't help falling in love with you.”
With his hips rocking, he slid his legs apart taking a stance with bent knees. He raised his arms as he sang, seeming like he was performing a complex move, but he was really reading his bow.
“Shall I stay Would it be a sin If I can't help falling in love with you”
That was the beauty of this time, was it not? Helping these mortals find the one their souls longed for? What a blessing it was for them to help them along. To lead them towards that beautiful place of happiness. The kind only love could find.
His eyes took in the scene around him. He'd been watching from the stage so he had the perfect pairs in mind. His arms trembled in excitement for it. He couldn't wait to see what would unfold for them, but he knew it would be lovely. With a last well wish, he let his arrow fly for the couples and wished them good luck. Perhaps he'd see them that very night to perform their wedding! How wonderful would that be!?

Mayu kept her eyes on the crowd, but was taking delight in the food she was currently fixated on. She'd become distracted from it, though, when she noticed another harpy making its way towards her. It didn't take a whole lot for her to immediately categorize her as a fierce hunter and a warrior. She wore the title all over her with scars and a collection of trophies around her neck. What was truly curious, though, was how glamorous this warrior was! How lovely her hair shone and how well kept her feathers were! Ah, Mayu certainly appreciated how beautifully she managed the two.
She noted, however, that the warrior was making its way towards her. Her feathers started to stand on end, but she held a steady gaze that didn't reflect an ounce of concern. She'd come to realize how territorial others of her kind were, and she completely understood it. Home was safety. Home was strength. She herself had enough of it that she didn't concern herself with taking up a space in this particular party hall, but she could only guess others were claiming territory right and left.
So, was she in this ones territory? Mayu would rather not mess her hair up, after all the time spent on it, but if words would not win her out of it she'd be ready. Though this one had obviously seen her fair share of battles, Mayu did not fear fighting. She had a reputation to uphold after all. Ah, she was getting closer-
Mayu cocked an eye brow at the other, taken aback by her words. Well, this was definitely not what she had been expecting at all! A slow smile curled up her lips as she let her muscles relax. What had gotten into this warrior harpy? Had she completely misjudged her? Well, now Mayu was feeling terrible! What a lovely dear with just lovely words. She couldn't help her feathers fluffing up in pride at being noticed. “Thank you, dear.” she said humbly. Curious way to speak, but Mayu got the jest of it (or perhaps she let the ambiguous words become whatever she wanted in her head, either way).
“You honor me with your words, especially one so fierce looking as yourself. You wear your battle scars proudly, but manage such a lovely appearance.” Now that the other was close enough she took a moment longer to look over her scars, “Wherever did you obtain such painful looking scars? It must have been a glorious battle!”
