"Keep it up, Shelah, you are doing great!" Elysia encouraged her pokemon for his effort. Riko's snivy too was nimble in dodging, but they wouldn't lose to them. Even if they could dodge a few, it couldn't be done for all of them. The barrage continued on until Riko thought out a counter for her turn. The long chain of command, to be honest, baffled her. That didn't sound practical and could Snivy even carried all that out? oh? Snivy appeared to understand and began her move. A whip came down toward them at high speed soon after. "Dodge downward!" Elysia commanded. Shelah didn't need to hear the command to know to move out of the way. Despite his resistance, it still hurt to get hit and this one had more power than the previous one. Shelah dropped down as if he lost his ability to keep afloat for a few second, allowing the vine whip to pass harmlessly above him, leaving snivy airborne. The move hadn't ended yet. "Get in there," Elysia made the decision to close in, unlike her earlier ranged assault. Shelah voluntarily shot forward to meet the snivy, he braced himself to get hit by her vine whip, but that was the price to pay for this one move to work. Shelah was trying to get face to face with Snivy. "Hypnosis," Elysia said the same time Shelah's eyes glowed. The sound of whistle felt far away at that moment. Elysia only registered it signaled the end of battle, they couldn't stop right now. Shelah was, unfortunately, being blown by the impact of vine whip and went out of range. A moment passed when Shelah made no move to do anything, but waited and nothing happened. Their move had failed. "Aww, we messed up," Elysia sighed in defeat. Hypnosis was really unreliable. "Shelah's we are done. You can back off now," Elysia told her bronzor to return to her side. She walked to approach Riko, "It seems I am the one who get tutored instead," She grimaced when she said this to Riko. She hadn't intended to battle seriously. The fact she had to use hypnosis, showed how she perceived Snivy's last move as a threat. Not only that, they even failed. She won't let one lost stop her from becoming friend with Riko. It would help if they could battle each other again. "Let's do this again next time," Elysia offered for a handshake, before she left to take the paper handed out. She got a fairly nice score based on the note, despite her only using confusion, since her other move failed.
"bronz . . . " Shelah was feeling down that he lost. It didn't escape Elysia that Shelah was guilty for not being able to success with hypnosis. "It's not your fault. We both know how bad Hypnosis's accuracy is," Elysia cheered him out. "Don't you think that's what make it fun? if it's that easy, it will be boring," She patted the pokemon, then praised him, "You do good. Especially for executing a command you have never done before." With that, they exited the classroom.
Shelah Vs Snivy Turn 1: Shelah's defense dropped by 1 stage. Shelah used Confusion! 10% chance to confuse. Turn 2 : Shelah's defense dropped by 1 stage. Shelah used confusion! 10% chance to confuse. Turn 3 : Shelah's hit by vine whip! Shelah used confusion! 10% chance to confuse. Turn 4 : Shelah's hit by vine whip! Shelah used hypnosis! it missed! - Battle Ended -

Skylar was pleased that supersonic had worked, it meant that she had the advantage now. However, Skylar also knew the risk that the opponent could snap out of their confusion was also a possibility. Though she hoped that wouldn't be the case this time around, in a pokemon battle anything could happen. She still needed to keep her guard up, at least that's what the textbook that she had read stated. So she thought up a plan in her head "Ace back away and get ready to dodge if necessary" she said. Ace complied, and spun before flying a bit away from the dog pokemon. She kept her eyes on Maria's partner and waited to see what she would do. If Maria got lucky then her pokemon would snap out of its confused state, Skylar really hoped that wasn't the case. She would definitely praise Ace for hitting his mark after the battle, his speed was used nicely and even the opponent seemed surprised at how swiftly he moved. Lillipup had a hard time keeping up. She made a mental note of that, Ace's speed could possibly a trump card in her arsenal later on. So far so good.
However, Maria then commanded Lillipup to try and bite Ace and hold him down. Skylar shouted at Ace to fly up in order to avoid that outcome, however, try as he may, Lillipup seemed to catch him off guard. Skylar even warned Ace to be careful, but Ace seemed to underestimate the opponent thinking that since it was confused it wouldn't catch up to him as quick. Boy was he wrong, and he felt the pain of ignoring Skylar's warnings. Even though Ace was caught somewhat off guard, he was still able to avoid getting flinched. That much was good at least, maybe she could use this situation to her advantage? If she had Ace fly up high while Lillipup was still holding on he could try and shake the pup off him and use gust to further damage the pokemon as the gust slammed the pokemon down hard towards the ground?
She was about to tell Ace the command when the whistle blew and the teacher stated that all the practice battles were finished. She sighed, crossing her arms rather unhappy that she didn't get to try out this maneuver of hers. However, rules were rules, and once Lillipup released Ace she walked over "good match, though is seems we didn't really get to the exciting part" she said, as she extended her hand. It was polite to shake hands after a battle, even if Skylar didn't particularly like shaking peoples hands much. After that she walked away from Maria and tended to Ace. He wasn't hurt at all really, just had a small bite mark on his side. It would go away given time, but she'd ask just in case "you need to get that healed or are you good?" she asked, a hint of worry in her voice. Ace tilted his head, before shaking it. Seems he really didn't need to go to the nurse, after all they didn't really battle at all so there wasn't a good reason to go there. So she simply held Ace delicately in her arms before taking her own notes. There really wasn't anything written on her paper, what the heck? With a roll of her eyes she left, maybe she could eat lunch in the club room and finally have some peace and quiet for once. With that she took her leave.

"Thanks! Good job to you! I guess I shouldn't have let my Snivy eat those candies. I will try to do a better job next time. I have a long way to go," Riko said sighing. To be honest, we learned that combo technique from her mom's contests. Since they also focus on image, the contestants have to twist moves around to make it so that their opponent gets damaged while trying to look good. So she decided to copy some of the things the contestants did. Mr. Reyes dismissed them to lunch, which was good, because she was starving. After the battle, she decided that she should wait to go to the forest afterwards. Since her Snivy worked so hard, she didn't want to make her tired and even more in danger. She decided to take her Snivy to the nurse's office, because her Snivy seems to be quite injured. "You and Bronzor were really strong and worthy opponents. I can see great things in the future for the both of you. I hope we can battle again sometime," Riko told Elysia. She kinda felt as she cheated, since she used the rare candies, so she thought Elysia should have been the winner. She sighed. Luckily she wasn't a sore loser but sometimes she can take things a bit too personally. She will do better in the future. Mr. Reyes said that they will do more practice battles next class, so that was good. She will work harder to understand her Pokemon. As right now, she needed to take Snivy to the nurse. Ok, nurse then lunch, Riko thought.

↳My location... classroom ↳My Outfit... Salamance uniform. ↳Those near me...Nirav Goto, other students. ↳Pokemon you see me with... Aisha, the snorunt (in battle)
The two pokemon stood to face each other after the exchange. Eevee had some frost on his fur, while Aisha was bruised from the swift attack. It could be seen that from a single attack, Swift dealt nearly the same damage as what they did twice. Based on offensive strength, the eevee surpassed them. They would needed to do something else if they wanted to win aside from contest of strength. It was time to reduce their opponent's defense to even their disadvantage. First however, they needed to dodge the incoming swift. "Aisha! Run," Cyril instructed, he hadn't known swift's special characteristic. The snorunt ran sideway in hope to get out of range. But this was where it happened, the stars from swift changed course! "WHAT!?" Cyril was surprised since he didn't expect Swift was a homing type. Aisha wasn't able to outrun the attack and was barraged by it. "A no evasion attack, is it?" he questioned Nirav for confirmation. They were completely dominated since double team would be useless too.
A whistle signaled the end of the session. It's such a shame when it felt like the battle had just started to get challenging. "Aisha, it's over," Cyril recalled his snorunt into her pokeball. "good job," he murmured to the pokeball, before pocketing it. Nirav had also called his eevee back into pokeball. "Wait," Cyril called when Nirav excused himself out. He hastily tore a paper from his notebook after writing his pokegear number, then handed it to Nirav. "If you want to battle again, give me a call," Cyril told the boy. He was dissatisfied with how their battle ended so abruptly, so he wanted to have another round next time, if Nirav wanted to.
He took the notes handed to him by Mr. Reyes, then left soon after Nirav left. It was better that he healed Aisha in the infirmary. He had planned to stop by the forest again to hunt for a pokemon. They won't be battling wild pokemon unless it was necessary though. Aisha needed to take a brief break.
Aisha vs Raja Turn 1: Aisha used powder snow! 10% chance of freezing Aisha's accuracy decreased by 1 stage due to sand attack! Turn 2 : Aisha used double team. Evasion increased by 1! Turn 3 : Aisha used Ice Shard! +1 priority, it will hit first before swift. (ACC: 90 due to lowered accuracy) Aisha received 60 dmg from swift. Aisha received 60 dmg from swift. - Battle ended -

While the duo was taken by surprise from the fake out that Skitty performed didn't mean they would just give in that quickly. The skitty used a tail whip attack she had to admit- Skitty was super cute. Like, what could be cuter than a pink cat pokemon anyway? She raised her hand and told to Fletchling, "Okay let's get our chance Fletch dive in and use peck attack!" Fletchling like this idea. His beak began to glow and sharpen. He flew higher up and then swiftly made a turn in the air and started to dive for Skitty. It was ready to land the strike- but then the sound of a whistle caught him and Koru off guard and he messed up his dive and rolled into the ground. Koru flinched when she saw him roll in and then turned to Mr. Reyes who had blew the whistle. Both she and Fletchling were gaped open mouth shocked when he said class was over,"Aw man...!" She went to Fletchling and let him step onto her hand,"You okay?" Fletchling nodded, but he still felt the hurt of the mistake just now. Cyndaquil felt bad for him as well. She stood up and sighed then approached Veronica,”Oh well looks like we'll have again another time hm? Here's my pokegear number if you ever wanna try and battle for real!" She happily handed the girl a piece of paper with her number on it then turned to grab her bag and other things. She let Fletchling go into his pokeball for the time and then headed for the door. It was about time for her to meet up with Kirsi."Bye Mr. Reyes!”

Still on the chilly side, Nirav and Raja made their way to class in relative silence. Neither were too big on talking. They managed to be the first pair in the classroom, which didn't take either of them by surprise. Upon entering, Nirav went to his usual spot along the wall and took a seat on the floor. He pulled out his book and flipped to where he had left off. Looking down at his bookmark, a flyer about the Drama Club, Nirav sighed a little. Ichiro, the president, had approached him about joining. Something about sewing costumes and building sets for plays they were putting on. It certainly sounded interesting, and they had a meeting this weekend, but Nirav was a little on the fence about it. Joining clubs meant having to talk to a lot of people. What if they made him act or do improv? He would just lay down to die right then and there. But at the same time, drama club provided the opportunity to sew again. Maybe they had a nice sewing machine he could use to patch up some of his own clothes. The boy had until a few more days to think about; hopefully he would make up his mind by then. Until then, he kept on reading.
The boy's teeth chattered slightly as his eyes scanned the pages. Raja looked up to him in worry, nudging him slightly. The boy looked down to him. "Are you not cold?" he asked in shock. It felt like the middle of winter, even in the jacket. Raja only shook his head. "Ee."Nope. Nirav sighed. He didn't exactly have winter clothes he could bring from home; it didn't get much colder than this back home, and clothes like that usually cost a lot more money for the larger amount of fabric used. He tried to stop himself from chattering his teeth as he continued to read. By what he understood, the girl was travelling around the world in search of Jirachi so she could save her town. She did all of this with a Drifloon accompanying her too. It was a more interesting read, even if a little more challenging. The fact that it was in Japanese wasn't making it any easier, but the practice was surely helping.

Brown eyes on the ground, the nervous Jung-Su took short strides into the battle classroom with his Chingling on his head, guiding the lad so as not for him to bump into anything or anyone. Despite already being at school for quite a bit of time, the lad still couldn't get used to all the social interactions. He felt close to making some kind of friend a week ago with the pink haired 'my-pace' girl Tera but other than that occurrence, he didn't create many chances opting to stay in his dorm most of the time out of fear. Where did all of that courage and motivation go from a week ago? He couldn't help but mentally berate himself at the thought. If it weren't for C to drag him out of his room, young Jung would not have seen or felt the sun's brightening rays. Not an foreign feeling for the deadlocked boy to feel both happy yet upset at his Pokemon's actions.
Not moving his gaze an inch from where it was(still facing the ground), the Flygon student could still feel that someone was already present in the room yet made to action to approach them. C sighed at the lad's actions, knowing that if he pushed his trainer any further that he would most likely bolt through the door. I was already troublesome task to even get him here and it'd be near impossible to get him back. Jung-Su quietly plopped himself on the ground near the door, preparing himself a swift exit should he ever got the urge to suddenly leave due to stress.

After running their lap, Maria took Espurr and Lillipup to hit the showers. Getting changed into her school uniform the Flygon member headed for the cafeteria for a quick bite to eat. With everyone fed it was time to get to class. “We don’t want to be late.” She told the two before getting up. Lillipup was the first out the door with Maria following after. Espurr much preferred the free lift he was getting from his trainer.
Entering the battle classroom, Lillipup spotted Nirav and Raja. The tiny brown pup made her way over to the two. They were familiar which would help her trainer. Plus she was getting a sense that the other boy in the room was much like Maria if not worse. Something about his scent gave it away. Though she remembered Raja and she liked Raja. “Pup!”(Hello!)Lillipup barked happily.
Maria shook her head as she walked over to where they were. “Morning,”She greeted them before looking to her Pokémon. “Lillipup, don’t be a pain.” She told the pup. Lillipup looked up at her before giving a small bark. “Pup? Lillipup.” (What? I’m not doing anything.) She didn’t think she was. Espurr just watched as Maria took a seat. He looked around the room noting the gold bell looking Pokémon.
Setting Espurr down the brunette wondered where Silvano was. Usually he was trying to hang with her. That wasn’t happening as of late… That’s when she remembered him and Iris at the festival. Perhaps there was more to it? Maria couldn’t bare think about it. She would not allow herself to be jealous of her friend getting more attention from another one of her friends. Even if she was jealous there was no way she going to admit it. Besides after the way he treated Zubat, Silvano didn’t deserve her attention.

As students slowly came in, Nirav would look up to see who they were. The next boy to join him in the battle classroom was Jung-Su. He seemed tense and nervous again. Nirav honestly couldn't blame him; it seemed like everyone here was so eager to jump up and talk to others that it was hard to have just a moment of silence and calm. Nevertheless, the boy did feel bad for him. Nirav gave a small smile, waving slightly at him and his pokemon before going back to his book.
Things were calm once more until another student came in. This time, it was Maria. Her Lillipup began to run over to the two of them, marking the end of Nirav's time to read in peace. With reluctance, he close his book, the drama club flyer sticking out between the pages where he would pick up after class. Nirav gently extended his hand towards the pup, petting its soft fur. Maria soon joined up with her Espurr in her arms "M-m-morning,"he replied. "Your, uh, your Lillipup is fine." Nirav would've had to have stopped reading eventually; this was just a lot sooner than he would've liked. He only had a few more pages to the end of the chapter. Raja laid his head against Nirav's leg, looking at the three of them quietly. Between Raja and Nirav, the two usually didn't have a whole lot to say to people. But his family - primarily his brothers - has been trying to get him to be a little more social. He could almost feel them breathing down his neck for not at least trying to continue talking to someone. He took a breath and looked to the girl. "S-s-s-so, uh, how has, uh, your week been?" It was a start, however awkward and out of place Nirav felt.

At first Koru was worried about being so late she couldn't stop and have breakfast with her friends, but then she saw how far she had gotten and stopped midway through the courtyard. Both of her pokemon felt just as rushed until she took a breath,"Wow we got really far I think I'll be okay right?" Fletchling and Cyndaquil weren't sure which way to respond that wouldn't lead her to beleive they didn't have faith in her anymore. She had such a hard time during that trip she want to make her as happy as they can. She shrugged not getting a response and pulled out a pair of AMP headphones, which ironically look like Ampharos horns. She put them on and pressed play on her music player. With music in her ears she strolled to class with a beat in her step now. ---------- Walking down the hall looked even better when you were dancing and that is what Koru was doing. Fletchling flew around her head, all this movement was getting too much to sit on her head with. She clapped her hands and hopped with her steps and even spun a few times. All of these factors lead her to the classroom door quicker than usual. She was originally humming to the song but she couldn't help mumble sing some of the words as she walked in,"Saa~mabuta wo akete...." Fletchling perched himself at her usual seat while she plopped down and continued to hum the tune. Cyndaquil migrated to her lap but she had to shuffle a little more to grab her pokegear and player. She pulled one earmuff aside from her ear looking at the gear. Kirsi had replied to her saying they could do lunch. She texted back thinking that'd be a good idea and sent it. She looked around and cuddled Cyndaquil a little bit in her lap playfully, "You'll get to see Chance later won't that be fun?"Cyndaquil nodded smiling. Out of all the pokemon he's met, not counting Fletchling since they're basically roommates, he really like Chance. The only other two would have to be Rey and Inari....he needs to socialize more. "Quil?" he perked at a low chiming noise. Koru noticed his peaked interest and looked around, only partially hearing the same noise. Fletchling chirped and pointed to the boy sitting near the door. By him was a strange looking yellow pokemon that honestly looked like a bell,"Hm let's see..."she mumbled to herself while she let her pokedex scan the pokemon, Chingling, The Bell Pokemon. There is an orb inside its mouth. When it hops, the orb bounces all over and makes a ringing sound. "Oh it must be making that noise..."Seeing him alone near the door...it made want to get up and say hello, but a certain person's words kept ringing in her head...no. She scooted a little closer and leaned forward, her headphones still lopsided on her head with one ear covered and one free,"Hi there. You're Chingling is make a little sound it's pretty cute."

Dragging his feet to class Silvano headed up to the doors, reluctant to enter. He knew he wasn't exactly late, but he was sure most his peers had probably already made it to class by now. This thought only made him more hesitant to enter. He may of been over thinking things a little, but there was no denying the fact that Battle Class kinda required its students to participate, which usually meant having your pokemon out of its pokeball. There really was no avoiding it. Silvano scowled at the thought. Not only did he hate those stupid creatures and hated seeing everyone else's running around all freely, but his was an absolute and total failure. He didn't want anyone to so much as look at it, let alone tolerate seeing again it himself. Balling up his fists, he began to feel a rising anger inside of him. It wasn't fair! Why was he stuck with such a useless pokemon and why was everyone else allowed to enjoy theirs? It only reminded him of the way his sisters would frolic around the house with their stupid pets while he was not allowed to owe one and instead study boring papers on public relations. Letting out a deep breath, Silvano attempted to calm himself and regain his composure. He couldn't allow anyone to get the wrong impression of him, so he had to hold in his disgust. As his father had droned into him; a person's reputation was a powerful and fragile thing.
Reluctantly sliding open the door of the classroom, Silvano hesitantly stepped inside before sliding it shut behind him. His head was hung and he didn't attempt to make eye contact with anyone in the room. Instead, he wordlessly headed over to an empty spot near the back of the room where it was quiet. Once seated on the floor, he just stared down at his feet in silence, inwardly trying to block out the chatter and contamination of his surroundings. After allowing several grueling seconds to tick by, he finally took a glance at the others around him. It required a ton of will power not to scowl at his peers, as he instead simply narrowed his eyes at them in an otherwise deadpan gaze. The first person he recognized was Maria, who was near the kid with a relative lack of suitable clothes for the weather. She appeared to be interacting with him, just as her Lillipup was with the boy's Eevee. Though, just seeing her pokemon made his stomach drop. It only reminded him of bitter defeat. Honestly, as much as he would have liked to apologize to Maria for being so insensitive to her feelings, another part of him knew he couldn't shallow his pride. She had made him eat his own words when he told her that she had weak pokemon and inside she proved it was him instead.
Bitting down on his lip, Silvano quickly turned his sight away from Maria. He didn't want to think about her too much since he was already in a bad mood. The kid she was talking to, he vaguely recalled was named Nirav. Admittedly, a really nice sounding name, but he wasn't female and thus wasn't worth his time or thought. Shifting his gaze more so, he soon spotted Koru attempting to make conversation with yet another shy boy. Once again, Silvano quickly dismissed the male Koru was talking to and instead focused his attention on the floor. He still didn't quite know what to make of Koru. A part of him felt sorry for her, the way she had been so coldly rejected by Skylar at the Prize Lottery. But she seemed to be a friend of his bitter enemy, which made the girl even more questionable, despite being a fellow Salamence. However, she didn't appear to be from a noble background so maybe it wasn't worth getting to know her better either. Sighing to himself. Silvano just hoped class would be over with quick. The sights and soudns of the pokemon in the room was already getting on his nerves.

Skylar yawned softly as she made her way to class. She had tried to get Maria to talk, but had no such luck. She seemed to not want to talk to her, and that really annoyed her to no end. What the heck? Why was she being so secretive again? Not like that wasn't normal, it was just a really bad habit the ghost seemed to have. Whatever, she wouldn't think about that right now. The only thing that seemed to make her mood better was the little gift she had received this morning. Ace simply adored the outfit, and Skylar had to admit he was adorable in it. Again, not that she'd ever say that out loud. Ace twirled more, and flew side to side happily. Skylar was just glad that one of them wasn't annoyed with the world right now. Another sigh as she turned the corned to go to battle class. This wasn't her favorite class, but still it was class. She'd at least make an effort not to be late. She didn't particularly like the feeling of being late to anything, she found that to be extremely rude after all.
Eventually she made it to class on time, and walking in. She noticed a few face here and there, but it wasn't like they were people she particularly liked. She crossed her arms and sat away from everyone else like always. No point in being friendly after all, what was the point? Ace landed softly in her lap, and she looked down rolling her eyes as she scratched behind his ear softly. Ace was the only one worthy of her time and affection. That right belonged to no one else, and for good reason. She had wondered what class Alana had, at least if she had to talk to someone she'd rather it be her since she was somewhat easier to talk to than everyone else. She just waited for class to start.
