3nodding indeed, time of the machines comes when shall.

Especially when they introduce the official Skitarii rules for 30k to the mix. They've already previewed some upgrade kits, so chances are the regular plastics will also find their way into the range, perhaps with some tweaks to their rules.

Are you going to be getting any of the new Mechanicum toy from Forge World?

I'm already heavily using proxies for some of the options, though I may pick up a cohort of official Ursarax or a set of Vorax for future Zone Mortalis shenanigans. Maybe another techpriest to bulk out the ranks as an extra troops choice.

There's also the crazy thought nestled in the back of my head to one day get the Ordinatus Ulator, though nobody would pick a fight against that thing. Plus, I'd have to get a 7" template custom made for sure.

But as is, I'll be expanding my Mechanicum with unofficial models, because they (imho) look better and perhaps more importantly in the long run, are substantially cheaper.

I do know for sure that at one point or the other, I will add a Cerastus Knight-Acheron to the ranks as a Preceptor, something the army right now woefully lacks.

The plan is to get a Malcador, another Dracosan, a Stormlord, a commander for it and from the BL store a mug and a pair of bookmarks. Must stay on target.

Just woke up to a newsletter from Victoria Miniatures with the following releases I just purchased for my army project:





Drummer girl will become the command squad Vexilarius and the squad of girls will become Veletaris, with count-as Volkite Chargers.

Miiiiiiiind, I had a buffer in the budget, it's gone now. emotion_facepalm

What are you using for the Volkite Chargers, Plasma Guns?

Either her plasma rifles or her fusion guns, both look suitably high-tech enough to be passed off as second or third generation Volkite chargers.

Aeons ago I pledged for Kingdom Death Monster with my brother. Late last week wave three came in and well.. eleven boxes with expansions have arrived, including the Slenderman and the Manhunter:



Along with various sets of armour and the like. This is supposed to be the Green Knight suit of armour, but I swapped the head and weapon for a Flower Knight rapier, turning her into a fencer of sorts:



Also decided to annoy myself by struggling with some more Raging Heroes stuff, kitbashing together this:





Due to work I haven't really touched a brush in a while now. Shame on me and all that.

Finally got those Leman Russ tanks done, aside from the search lights on two of the Strike squadron vehicles. Also still need to do a banner and tank commander for the Vanquisher.

Okay, time for a general update on the old to-do list, in no particular order:

- Build two Knights (one Crusader with House Terryn upgrade kit, another Paladin)
- Paint a ten man squad of Veletaris with power axes
- Finish up a twenty strong lasrifle section
- Finish the ten strong flamer section
- Finish the Baneblade
- Finish the Malcador, Infernus and second Dracosan

And yes..

- Get one more Leman Russ typed tank and give it a themed Girls und Panzer commander / feel
