Sin Err - St Patricks

Ah, time and FEAR saturation was the key then! Sin was pleased to hear that the holiday's candy wasn't going to have some of the nasty effects she had experienced first hand.

"Thank you..." She murmured to the professor.

Selene was so pleasant and cheerful that Sin couldn't help but like her, she was still put of by her apparent fondness for humans though. As she had feared Selene then asked them to pick a candy.

Sin sat for a moment, she had no desire to eat any of this candy, give her a nice jellied eye on a stick any day. Still, the professor expected them to choose and so Sin stood and looked at the baskets. She wanted neither Christmas nor Valentines candy with which she had already had experience. Independence sounded like such fun and so much like Halloween that she decided it was perfect. Striding forward she reached into the basket only to see that the other students had beaten her to it. She sighed and went for another basket instead.

She found herself drawn in by the green, the color was always in her dreams and she certainly liked Greed demons and Luck enough to consider St Patrick's Day the next reasonable option. She reached in and pulled out the marshmallow charms. For a long moment she just eyed the bright colorful shaped with wariness before finally popping them into her mouth with the distaste scarelings showed for taking icky medicine.

After a moment of careful munching though she found that despite the shock of sweetness they weren't bad at all. Sin let out a slow breath and relaxed a bit, nothing horrible yet just lecture and a snack...Professor Selene was rapidly becoming Sin's favorite (under Professor Arel that was, no one could displace him from her affections).

The hellhound looked at the ghoul and the heart that she held in her hand. Pointing at it, he gave her a pointed look. "You eat it." he deadpanned. That was the purpose of food, right? Especially candy. You eat it and that was it. However, knowing the fact that this was a class, it wasn't exactly that simple. He noticed that other students were taking their own back to their seats and eating it themselves. He would certainly not be surprised if everyone found themselves at the Nurse's office after this.

Petro seemed to have completely missed the point of this exercise in that he hasn't touched his candy. Now, after having made his choice, he wondered if he should reconsider switching things around. The turkey candy looked promising, and by that Petro thought it looked like it was made of candied turkey meat.

So far, only one student had picked it, and that had him walking over to ask, "What'd it taste'v?"

[Nio Love]

Selene could hardly believe the tail of a student had just tried to eat the entire basket of pop rocks. She was relieved to see it returned to her, and the pop rocks themselves looked relatively undisturbed - considering students continued to take them without question.

But her basket...

"Ah.. yes.. well.. ah.." She picked up the handle with two hesitant fingers, and slowly dropped the wet mess in the trash.

Munching some pop rocks in its mouth, it yelled "Oh oh so funny! Like a million stars dancing in my mouth!" It chirped happily while staring at other baskets.

"CHOCOLATE! I smell chocolate!" Its eyes sparkled.

Whenever there's food, there's the Head.

With a whine, Selene slowly moved herself between the baskets, and Head.

"Perhaps.. you should return to your seat now, my dear, mm? Enjoy your treat from there! At a safe distance.."

"Correct!" Carlos's tail swished. Mimsy really did carry him. He was super happy.

If she had wanted he would have given her some of his poprocks. as it was Carlos still had a few left, in fact so many that one seemed to slip through intangible fingers and flung onto Petro's shoulder. His illusion hands were slippery today, oops. He let out another giggle and hoarded the rest into himself, pulling them on to his belly as he was carried around.


Carlos tore open one and poured the whole back into his large mouth, incidentally showing lots and lots of teeth. Far too many teeth for a kitten his size.

They popped and crackled in his mouth and he chewed in large bites. Licking his nose and chewed as some came flying from his mouth. "ahhhhh." he tried to contain the candy bit it flicked about and his head bobbled with the mini attacks in his mouth. His ears flicked and his nose twitched but it tasted so good. he continued trying to wrangle the popping candy as it tried to escape an illusionary hand holding them back in his mouth for a moment and then he managed to shut his mouth as they popped against the roof.

oh was that... oh they were fighting over candy but Carlos sang out a small greeting.

"What is white and red and had two heads? What sings with one and speaks with the other? " Carlos didn't listen to the answer, he knew it. He just curled up contently in his spot in Mimsy's arms.

Mmur's eyes widened slightly as he was addressed and as he turned and looked up at the student who had done so, a slow grin spread over his lips.

"It tasted a little bit like chest at first," he replied, tapping his own. "But I think it's just chocolate underneath."

"I am really sorry, Miss Selene" The boil was a bit embarrassed and dragged his half to a seat. There was a giant chocolate bunny stared at them under their desk.

"BUNNYYYYYYYY! It smells so good, AJ!" It opened its big jaws because it's the Head, it won't miss any chance to bite. Bunny didn't like to be misunderstood as food, so it gave the stupid Head a lesson.

"OUCH! IT BITES ME! AJ! IT BITES ME!" It screamed, swinging its head crazily. AJ didn't comment any but smiled, Bro do need a lesson.

"Hey kitty, how are you? Enjoying the school life so far?" He beamed to the Cheshire Cat curled up in another student. It seemed that the kitty boil slowly got used to his new life, AJ was happy about that. "Didn't see you before? Year 1 also?"

Head was ignored.

It was very hungry, and the big target looked very very tasty. So it tried again, carefully not getting AJ's notice. If he did, its tasty snack will be gone. Slowly slowly moving its Head lower and slowly slowly opened its jaws, the bunny was no longer in its original position. With the thing in its mouth, it answered Carlos's riddle.

"It's me! Dwa the wonderful Head! Heyyyyyy kitty friend! Hello Hello!" It mumbled, with an ear might be seen in short when it opened its mouth.

A light seemed to glow in the monster horse's eyes, chest? "Chest? Y' mean meat?" he sounded hopeful. Very hopeful. Maybe too hopeful because when he learned it was chocolate, he looked a little crestfallen. "Oh. 'S good I didn't pick that one." Movement from the corner of his eyes caught Petro's attention as he instinctively raised a hand. He blinked at the second packet of poprocks he now held, glancing around the room for the source before quirking a confused square-root brow at the boil who ate the turkey-chocolate "'M guessing 's a sign I oughta eat it."

With some solemnity, he ripped open the packet and downed a mouthful. Brown eyes widening in surprise at the candy's reaction to his tongue. "MMNN?!"

THANKSGIVING - Aisha

Aisha had been listening intently and writing things down in a small notebad she'd produced from her oversized hoodie. The ghoul wasn't over eager, but thankfully hadn't been too drawn to the bright nature of Independence like the others had.

Instead she eased her way to the Thanksgiving table, smiling as she turned the turkey candy over in her hand.

St Valentines - Zar

Zar's appetite had only really been piqued by the strange bunny that he'd eaten quite against his will, prior to it he had not been hungry at all. When Selene asked them to come up and collect a candy from her, he was verging onto eager to go, rising promptly and joining the others.

When he returned it was with three candies, all the same shape and type, red heart shaped ones. He felt it was potentially one of the better tasting ones given that it looked like an actual organ, was not endorsed by a saint or about something awful like gratitude.

He slid one to Barth and offered the third to Calder before helping himself to his own. "Harmless arrows sounds like a rather safe location." he offered as justification.

St Valentines - Barth

It was unfortunate about the undead prejudice, but you saw that kind of thing occasionally, and Barth himself possessed a very functional (if on the blackened side) heart, so Valentine's...shouldn't pose much of a problem.

He shared concerns with Zar about Saint Patrick's. While fond of religion and religious-types (all his canon, in any case), Saints were a separate matter.

"Oh, yes, good," Barth said, taking the small candy heart from Zar. "As long as its not Christmas, I think. Land of the liable to get mugged and stabbed." He was mildly pleased Zar had picked up the first available candy.

It was what he would have done.
