Elise walked around looking for someone to cast the Cheering spell on when she saw and owl flying around in circles hooting sadly.
Shouldn't he be in the owlery? she thought.
She tried to coax the owl towards her, but it wouldn't stop.
She pointed her wand at the owl and said, "Tuor vardamir."
Her spell got right to the owl.
The owl cheered up and landed on Elise's arm.

Elise was on her last charm, the Confundus charm.
She saw a rat scurrying around on the floor.
Might as well practice on the rat," she thought.
She pointed her wand at the rat and said, "Confundus."
Her spell hit the rat and suddenly she could control its movements a bit.
She made the rat run in circles for a bit then let it run off into a hole in the wall.

Elise walks down the hallway quietly and sees a door.
"I wonder what's behind that door," she thought.
She tried to turn the doorknob, but it's locked.
Instead of turning around and going to find another way to go, Elise's curiosity gets the best of her.
"Alohomora," she whispers.
The door opens and she walks in quietly.

Elise walked down the stairs clutching her school books.
"Hey, you!" someone called.
She didn't realize, but someone had come out of a nearby door.
It was a student that she didn't recognize.
"You study?" he asked, "Aren't all Slytherin's dumb?"
"Aren't people supposed to be nice?" Elise thought.
"No..." she answered.
"Are you saying you know more than me?" he yelled in her face.
Elise couldn't take it anymore.
This wasn't the first time someone had insulted her intelligence.
"Confundo!" she said pointing her wand at the boy.
The boy looked at her dumbfounded.
"You don't want to bother me," she told the confused boy.
"Huh?" he asked.
Elise pushed past the boy happy that her spell had worked.

for future reference when doing classwork that asks you to describe a time you had to use the spell or the spell was used on you there is no need to roll dice
only when actually casting the spell for the class do you roll dice

the confundus charm does not allow you to control a creatures movements the only spell that does that is one of the three forbidden spells the confundus charm only confuses a target not control them it can allow you to alter some memories if cast powerfully enough(ooc only if you rolled a 20 on a 20 sided dice would this happen)

Charms Two, Lesson Two Classwork

After placing her homework on the stack on professor Telemar's desk Hailey headed over to the practice dummies to get started.

She cast the first spell Reducio! The spell is moderately successful and the dummy shrinks just enough to be noticeable.

Moving on to another dummy, Hailey casts petrificus totalus! The spell is unsuccessful and nothing happens!

Trying again Hailey cast petrificus totalus once more with determination. Once again the spell is moderately successful and Hailey manages to freeze the dummies legs at least.

Hailey turned and approached the pile of dummies that were lying on the floor unconscious. She knelt by one and cast rennervate. The spell is moderately successful and the dummy awakens though not quite as fast as a more skillfully cast rennervate.

one day not too long ago violet was walking along a nearly empty corridor, it wasn't completely empty because half hidden behind a coat of armor was a young girl crying quietly to herself. violet, the good Samaritan she was tried her best to cheer up the girl without magic but the girl seemed not to hear her comforting words as violet had to soon get back to the common room she came up with the idea to cast a cheering charm on the girl. and with that violet directed her wand at the girl and said tuor vardamir and the girl stopped crying and went on her merry way. Later as violet sat up in the common room, she thought to herself I never did find out why that girl was so sad

violet comes into the class room, looking around for someone who doesn't seem to be doing anything. her eyes land n a boy sitting in a corner reading. she gets close enough to him to cast a spell while far enough as not to be notices, quietly she says Confundo pointing her wand at the boy. the spell was successful at making the boy think he was a pretty princess and the book he was reading was his crown.

it was late at night and the girl's dormitory was quiet. supposedly every one was asleep, everyone except violet who had to get into her friends trunk to recover her stolen items. it was sometime in the early morning, when violet silently got up out of bed and crawled over to her friends trunk her wand in her mouth kneeling on both knees violet took her wand out of her mouth and whisper quiet as a mouse " Alohamora the trunk unlocked louder than violet thought it would, causing a few people to stir but no one woke, and violet made it back to bed stolen items recovered and much more carefully hidden this time.
