Where did you get your name?

I was named after a tennis player. My middle name is my mom's middle name.

Not really sure, other than my one sister was supposed to have it, but my dad's first wife didn't like it and gave her a different name

My first name (Angel) was after this french-Canadian lady that my parents met while sailing. Apparently she was nice and helped them so much that my mother took a liking to her. My mom also liked her name because it was different, it a latin country, Angel has a different pronunciation and its usually a male name. So in french, she thought it sounded famine and cute.

Latin- ángel. AH- n- Hell.
French- An-gelle.

Second name (mikala) is quite simple, my oldest half-sister, Michelle told my dad once when she was young, "I want a sister name Mikala." and dad remembered than when I was born and TADA! Angel Mikala. Since Angel can be made a nickname, Mika is my nickname, though rarely used.

Susan Maria

My grandma on one side and my great grandma on the other side were both Zuzanna (Polish for Susan/Susanna). So that was an easy choice.

I'm not really sure where Maria came from, now that I think about it. I have at least one relative named Mary, I suppose.

Also, in the first post, you mentioned your younger brother messed up your name... mine did too. He couldn't say "Susan" when he was little, so he just called me "sin."
