"Wherever. I can pay for it." What he hasn't told her is that he had a credit card. He was allowed to use it, provided he didn't go overboard. The bus topped at another bus stop, and he and her got off.

Once the bus stopped, she got off with him and looked around. "Well I need to go change into something else anyway, so that will give me soon time to decide." she glanced over at him as she walked down the street, heading home. "Or you can pick a place instead." she shrugged not really caring where they went as long as the food was decent.

"OK. I'll try to find a place." He went back home ad dropped of his things. After picking up his headphones and credit card, he looked in the phone book, trying to find a good restaurant. The only problem was that he had no clue what she liked.

After changing back into a pair of jeans and a random striped shirt, she went back outside and sat down on the sidewalk, just waiting for him now. Sure, she could go up to the door and knock, but he was probably busy if he wasn't out here yet. Biting her lip, she looked up at the sky.

After a couple of minutes, he looked to see Marie out and waiting. Picking up his things, he went out to her. "All right, so where do you want to go? Wherever, my treat."

Marie lowered her head, thinking. To be honest she didn't really know what to choose. Of course she wasn't going to choose a five star resteraunt so he would be left with a huge bill but she didn't really want to go to McDonalds either. "What about the Italian resteraunt?" she asked as she stood in front of him. "It's not too far from here." and the food didn't cost a whole lot either.
((I just made the resteraunt up because I couldn't choose.))

"Italian? That's sounds lovely", he said with a smile. He stood up. "Can you lead the way, as I have no clue where it is?" He liked Italian food, and head he known she liked Italian food, he would have recommended it.

"Yeah." she nodded her head and started to walk down the street. "It's not too far from here." she added since he probably didn't know that. Putting her hands into her pockets, it wasn't too long before they reached the place. Walking into it, she looked around as one of the waiters came up to them, before leading them to an empty table. Biting her lip, she brushed her red hair away from her face and looked over at him.

Walking in with her, he sat beside, admiring the scent of the restaurant. It smelled somewhat of spices and seasoning, with a hint of pasta. He noticed her looking at him, and couldn't help and look at her back. They remained like that until a waiter came by. Handing the two of them menus, she asked "Would you young couple like something to drink?" Ignoring the couple statement, he ordered sweet tea.

She couldn't help but notice that Matt didn't deny the couple statement.. but he didn't add anything to it either. Shaking her head a little, she ordered iced tea and thanked the waitress for the menus. Looking through it, she wasn't quite sure what she wanted.. it had been a while since she had been to this place.

Looking at the menu, he stared at the food. The Chicken Pesto a la Lisa seemed alright, with an order of bread sticks.When the waiter came back a few minutes later, he ordered just that. "Are you ready to order, ragazza?", she asked. (ragazza means girl)

After a while of looking, since she was never good a picking things anyway, she finally decided on Risotto allo Zafferano dish. When the waiter came back, she smiled a little, and pointed at long name since she probably would've done a horrible job at pronouncing it and that just made things easier for everyone.

Seeing as the food was going to take awhile, he sipped his tea. He was more relaxed than before, and it seemed like it was going to be a good time...until the two people he didn't want to see, came in. His girlfriend and ex best friend walked in all lovey; quite a sickening sight. Thankfully they hadn't noticed him... yet, but it made him all the angrier.

Placing her hands on the cold cup of sweet iced tea, she glanced over at him before she realized that he was pretty much glaring at someone. Her eyes followed his own and landed on a couple that had just walked in. Biting her lip, she then lowered her head. Marie didn't know anything about the couple, but it was obvious that they bothered Matt. She could hear the girl laughing as the guy said something to her, his arm around the girl's waist. She guessed that it was probably his ex or maybe the girl he liked but didn't get a chance to go out with her. Sighing, she decided to try and not come up with any conclusions and when he cooled down, ask him. "What's wrong?" she asked, her voice low. She was concerned but if he didn't want to talk, she would let it go.

"I'll talk about it later, when they aren't around." He kept his voice low so they wouldn't hear him. While they were kissing and what not, the waiter was trying to get them seated. Noticing Matt's glare at the two, the waiter managed to get them far away from Matt and Marie. When the waiter came by, Matt thanked him and gave him a five.
