Having your first period at ages 12 and younger

My mom explained the whole sex thing and my period when I was like, seven. I started asking so she decided it was probably time. Of course when I got my period at age ten I completely forgot about our talk. So when I went to go take a shower, my mom came to check in on me and saw my bloody undies on the bathroom floor xD I thought I was in trouble, but then we had the talk again I understood, even though I didn't like it.

I was never taught about sex, so I got the period talk at 11, the night I got my period.

I got mine at 10. My parents never really talking to me about sex. It was like Spring break.

Got mine at age 10 1/2. Good thing it was at home too. I didn't really get freaked out cuz my mom explained the whole thing to me before but yea.

I went anyway just so I could be with them and get actual help until I was comfortable with telling my parents.

It stopped about a week later.

☞ That's totally fine. My period started the week before my 14th birthday (birthday = August), and it didn't come back until January. Periods are supposed to be irregular for the first few times. ☜
