Shinji cut the last of the naill on his pinky as he smiled as he looked at Zylver. "That good?" He asked as he tilted his head.

He closed and opened his hands a couple times, then looked at the nails and scratched his beardless jaw with a happy look and a smile.
Satisfied he bowed to the boy.

"Wouldnt you have by any chace some kind of cutting device... like a knive or a pair of scissors and a strand of thick thread for taking care of my hair?"

"Oh! Yeah. Hold on." Shinji said as he rummaged through his desk draw and got out a pair of hair cutting scossors and a hair band. "Will this do?" He asked as he handed the items to Zylver.

He took first the hair band and examined the loop of elastic band.
This was awesome, it would not suddenly untie like the ribbons he was used to use....
He nodded, and with a little effort due to the length of the hair, he managed to tie it. He tied it pretty low, a little bit lower than his shoulders.
After a little bit of managing and retouching the hair Zylver gently took the scissors Shinji was kindly offering him and put them on his lap.
Then he gently took Shinji's hands and made him hold his hair. One hand he put it below the band and the other above it, making the hair straight.

"Hold it tight... and do not fear for your hands"

And taking the scissors again, with no doubt or regret, he cut his hair in a single motion, a couple of inches above where he had put the band, a bit below the upper hand of the boy.

The hand Shinji had above the band kept holding his silvery hair, while the other came lower with the cutting, holding more than a yard long ponytail.

Shinji looked at Zylver and nodded as he held on the hair tightly but not to tight to hurt him. He blinked when he cut his hair as looked at the long ponytail then at Zylver. "Better?" He asked as he tilted his head cutely to the side.

The boy was way to cute, specially when he tilted his head to the side like that.
Zylver shook his head lightly, feeling the hair caress his shoulders and being much lighter in weight.

"thanks a lot... I cannot repay you with anything... there's nothing I posses now... but you can keep that hair.... you can sell it... well.. I don't know if they still buy hair nowadays...... in my time, they used to buy good quality and long hair for making wigs, and even for making brushes...."

Shinji nodded his head. "No. Its fine. I'll just donate it to good will." He stated as he got up and put the hair on his desk then looked at Zylver. "Are you hungry." Shinji asked.

Zylver looked at his former hair being put on the desk and then looked at Shinji.

"Hungry...?" he had forgotten to pay attention to revealing clues for his talk in the boy's thoughts.
"What does hungry mean...?

"Well.." Shinji said as he rubbed the back of his head in thought. "Its when you crave food. You know, when you feel like eating." He stated then noticed something and looked at Zylver, "Can you understand me now?" He asked.

Zylver smiled when what 'hungry' and 'food' passed through his mind in images.
"Yes I do am hungry"

but then noticed concern and something he could not explain... and suddenly he felt ashamed... well.... it was not everyday that someone noticed you were reading his mind... and it was weird and embarrassing confessing you were doing it.

Zylver shaked his head saying 'no' to Shinji's question.

"Oh. I thought you were able to understand me more." He stated but smiled encouragingly, "Its okay. You'll get it eventually. Now lets go eat." He stated as he took Zylver's hand in his and walked to the kitchen downstairs.

He left himself be carried by the hand to the kitchen downstairs.
He still was walking with difficulties, but sure much better than when Shinji brough him to his home.
He felt himself stronger and food would for sure help him regain energies.

He looked at the kitchen amazed. There were lots of things he did not know what they were and how were they used, but he do recognised pots and pans.

"Where's the fireplace in this kitchen? we are goning to spend ages lighting the fire before we can cook anything..."

Shinji tilted his head then laughed lightly as he shook his head. "Right. I forgot you haven't seen this kind of stuff before. Don't worry though." Shinji said as he went the stove and turned it on. "This is the fire. And its quick." He stated.  

[Zylver_the_Dragon]

Zylver's eyes widened and his face was looking young and pretty expressive, like a kid who's just shown a magic trick.

"was that magic?? are you a wizzard??"

Shinji laughed a little as he shook his head. "No. I'm not a wizard; this is what we call technolgy."He said as he went to the fridge to get soem food.
