Nighsongbyrd The Titanium Spork Nighsongbyrd Are you still taking mentees? My deviantart account: X I haven't posted any recent drawings though. I would like to strengthen most of what you've said you're good at. I would like to be your student please. Why yes, I am. Could you draw a full body picture for me, just so that I can judge how you're doing? Sure thing. Male or female? (I'm guessing male.)
Whichever you feel most comfortable drawing. (Male is easier for me to draw, but I can correct drawings of women.) |

I need help on all your strengths basically, and I really need help with drawing guys xD .. well maybe not really really but yeah :3 I need help in that area.
Here is my DA, there aren't alot or much as there should be but, I hope this helps lol. Most of my drawings are on photobucket >_>;
Also would be okay if I can use my cell phone to take pictures? Because I don't have the computer my scanner is installed on. My brother is currently fixing it. And If your worried about the quality of the cellphone pictures, their not that bad honestly smile

Most of it's pretty good, so I'm going to nitpick a bit.
Lips are too low. Shoulders should slant down from neck, not come out straight. Top of chest joins at your shoulder, so it should look like the chest flows into the arm with a sort of "r" shape (on the right hand side, mind).
You have a general idea of how folds in clothing work, but it needs some work, so Tut part 1.Tut part 2 (which I prefer, but you should read both, anyway.
Also, seeing as I can't see the hands, I'm going to assume you're not comfortable with drawing them.
So, for your next assignment, I want you to find a reference picture of an outfit you like, and draw a guy wearing it. If both his hands aren't showing, then draw a hand off to one side. (Cruel, I know, but it's for your own good.)
Hand tutorial. Also, you can try experimenting with varying the build and face shape on the guys you draw, but we'll get to that later.
