Haven was still laying in bed. She was excited because her mother was actually going to come. For some strange reason unknown to her, she felt as if something interesting was going to happen. Something big. She shook her head a little then jumped out of the bed when she heard someone approaching.

She opened the door then smiled at Juliette as she saw her coming. "Good morning!" She said happily then walked over and took the tray from her so she didn't have to carry it.

"A group of four maids has been sent out to retrieve your mother," Juliette said, shocked after having her tray taken from her hands. She was pleased though, having the weight out of her hands gave her some relief. The tower was a bit drafty in her opinion and wasn't doubting that Alex would be transferring Haven down to a better room.

His wolf form made it's way off the bed and onto the hard wood floor. They'd had enchanted wood in put in here that was water resistant and wouldn't age as fast as others. He looked at the floor a moment before walking over to the door. The wolves were circling a wide area of where the maids were traveling in a small carriage towards the town.

Haven smiled and said, "That's great!" She brought the tray into the room then set it down on the table in there then walked back over to Juliette. "How are you this morning?" She asked curiously. She wondered if anyone ever asked her that or not.

Haven's mother was still at her home and in the living room sewing. She was having one of her better days and was also worrying about where her daughter had run off to.

Juliette was only moderately shocked by the question but she smiled. "I'm doing very well today, thank you. And how did you sleep last night," Juliette responded politely. Her mind was reeling at the moment, did Haven want something from her? Why was she so incredibly nice? There was the possibly in here mind that it was just the girl's nature.

Alex yawned before padding out of his room and down to the front hall. He preferred to be in this room because it was where he had found his mother. It was also where he'd formed some of the most concrete memories of her. She had been gentle and kind hearted. The good memories of her flooded him and he sat down peacefully on the floor in front of the main entrance doors.

Haven grinned widely and said, "That's really good!" She then nodded a little and said, "Very well thank you." She shook her head a bit as she could tell that Juliette was shocked. She wouldn't say anything about it though for she knew why she would be. "Is Alexander up yet?" She asked anxiously. She found herself unable to wait much longer to see him again.

"He usually goes down the front hall immediately every single morning," Juliette responded. "I was just about to go down and make his breakfast. He'll be hungry, yesterday was a bit stressful for him because of all the changes that happened. Juliette let a sigh out after a moment and headed towards the door to leave.

Alex laid down and rolled over for a moment, laying on his back and staring up at the ceiling, his paws dangling in the air. The calm he was feeling slowly changed his body into his human form. The pain seared through his body again but he closed his eyes and tried to remember what his mother looked like when he was a child. She had been beautiful and her eyes had always had a warmth to them that he missed.

Haven nodded then when she left, Haven made her way to the front hall. She smiled as she saw he was in his human form again meaning he was calm. She walked over to him quietly then sat down next to him and said, "Hello and good morning." She smiled as she tilted her head to the side, watching him a bit.

Alex's hair was a little less messy this time as he had smoothed it a little by the time she came in. His eyes were still closed but he knew that it was Haven. He tensed slightly but forced himself to relax, let the music his mother used to play turn over in his head. He opened his eyes finally and looked up at her. She had spoken, and it was the only reason he'd opened his eyes to look at her.

"I shouldn't be alive," Alex said after a moment. "Someone like me shouldn't live." He was referring to his anger at the moment and not realizing that he was incredibly self-centered at the moment. He always looked down upon his own existence but whenever someone said something bad about him his ego went straight back to work. It was a complex he had that had begun to bother Juliette a long time ago.

Haven raised an eyebrow and said, "Oh come now, don't talk like that." She pouted slightly. "Everyone deserves to be alive. People make mistakes all the time, its just the way life is." She said softly. She had always seemed to have a way with knowing what people meant even if they never came right out with it. She at least thought that's what he meant.

She tilted her head to the other side as she looked down at him, her smile coming back. "You know what I think?! We should do something fun today." She said with a nod. "Make you forget all your troubles at least for a day."

Alex ignored her for the moment but the idea of doing something fun actually excited him. They could take a walk in the forest or maybe even figure out if there were any places in the castle Alex hadn't gone. He knew his parents had kept secrets and he hadn't had time to explore the entire thing.

"Okay," he grumbled after a moment. "Where do you want to go first or what do you want to do?" He wasn't sure what was fun anymore since he spent a majority of his life in the form of a wolf. It was a pleasure for him to be a human but the pain was still racking through his body, slowly making the happiness he was feeling dissipate.

Haven jumped up and smiled. "Great!" She said then put a thoughtful finger on her chin. "Well, I really wouldn't know... you're the one who lives here." She said smiling still. She hadn't ever been to a castle before and didn't know what he liked to do for fun. Though she did know now that he enjoyed music.

She then put her hand out for him to take as she waited for his answer.

Alex didn't take her hand but stood up. He hadn't been in the north wing since his parents had died and guessed that was the place they would hide anything. The secrets they held from him had bothered him for a long time and his curiosity was not replacing his anger.

"I have some investigating to do," he admitted. "Let's go to the North Wing. It's the place where my parents lived." He didn't add the fact that he was looking for a secret and wasn't quite sure what the secret would be.

Haven sighed when he didn't take her hand. She kind of figured he probably wouldn't but it was worth a shot. She smiled still then nodded. "Sounds good to me." She said then looked at him. "Lead the way." She said.

She probably should start learning where everything was in the castle since she was going to be living there. So was her mother whom she figured was going to be there in about four hours or a little more than that.

Alex started to walk towards the north wing, he was nervous and it was beginning to show. He hadn't been to this side of the building since his parents had died. He was glad that he had someone with him, then if he got incredibly scared or angry he'd have someone that could help him through whatever he found. This was part of the reason he hadn't come this way in such a long time.

"Consider this the first part of your tour," he said with a smile. The pleasantry of being with a human as a human was encouraging him to stay in that form and to be at least somewhat happy.

Haven could see the nervousness and raised an eyebrow though she didn't ask. She kept walking and when he spoke, she turned to look at him with a smile. "Thank you then." She said nodding once then looked around. She needed to memorize every detail so she knew where things were, she had a good memory though so it wouldn't be too hard.

She wanted to talk about something or anything really. She just couldn't keep quiet for too long. "So have you lived here your entire life then?" She asked curiously.
