I'm afraid some people haven't realised that these "regional" types are nothing more than plebs, Francis.

Mmm, I think estuary English and mild modern received pronunciation is sexy; I also like Northern Irish, Scouse, and certain American accents. I like French accents on women but not so much on men; on men I like Spanish accents and overall I enjoy listening to people speaking in Asian, East-Asian or German accents.

The latter accents when spoken by good or bad speakers? Because people speaking Engrish are strange, as well as Indian accent. And those kids in my English classes, some of them spoke English so badly I had a hard time restraining myself from constantly head-desking. (Ilshenar says "German accent sounds like somebody out of a bad porn movie.")

As an outsider, I love nearly all British accents, except thick posh accent.
Maybe it's just the endorphine rush that comes with actually understanding what you guys say.

As an American, I can't tell the difference between these English accents. But, I can tell some difference when two english people from different regions are talking to me at the same time.

Americans are much the same, bringing up stereotypes with accents. I'm just on the bad end of that, apparently, as I have a Southern American accent. The "western movie" accent, if you will. I get made fun of because of it a lot, especially when going somewhere like New York or California, where they automatically assume I am a "redneck" or "hick."

But, I don't appreciate it, as I'm in college and working on a degree. I'm educated, and I wouldn't marry my cousin ever.

I personally like the Southern American accent. It sounds cool unlike my Souther English (Kentish) accent. It sounds so common and uncool like.

YAY REDNECKS! That's not a bad thing. xd I act like a redneck occasionally, because I lived in Tennessee for so long. What we mean in California by calling you a redneck is that you have certain mannerisms of people from the south. Surely that's not a bad thing, is it?

I have a REALLY thick Southern accent when I'm angry. That's the only way you can tell I lived in the south for so long.

Well, if I ever learn to take the damn things, you'll probably get a bunch of them from me.

Doubtlessly in progressing states of inebriation.
