The scene-y kids here hate it.

And I find this quite ironic because they are usually like "Ahh, I just gots black and white checkered VANS yesterday."

And yet they don't even know that the whole black and white checkered pattern is a ska thing. Idiots.

omg... you have no idea how many times I get that. It's like a scene breeding grounds here and they all think that because I wear band t's and checkered vans, that I'm one of them. It's always like "Hey, do you listen to *insert emo band here*?"
It's alright though because I know it'll fade away like the overblown fad it is and I'll still be listening to ska.

Yeah, I actually was planning on getting some B&W checkered Vans but then I realized that I would be considered a "poser emo kid" even though I am not. I just love checkers and black and white, I'm not a freak!

Pretty much the same here, the band t-shirt is usually punk though, and I have checkered shoes and blue jeans I checkered with a sharpie due to boredom a while back.

Mom's old leather cop jacket from the 40s with all her old punk pins
funky socks
Chuck Taylor high tops/checkered Vans/ Anarchic creepers.

TONS of checkered socks in various colors
Checkered purse
Checkered phonebook
Checkered backpack
Checkered messenger bag
Checkered bag
Checkered leggings
Checkered scarf

some other stuff I can't remember.

My typical "LOOK AT ME I'M A RUDE GIRL!" outfit:

Nice black slacks
An awesome slim fitting dress coat jacket thing with long sleeves and a slit down the back that I got at Value Village for $4 <3
My one white dress shirt that I've had since 4th grade with the skull that I sewed on myself.
Anarchic Creepers or checkered Vans.

My mom's old vintage slim necktie that black/white thin horizontal stripes on one half (both sides) and black on the other with this little red leaf looking thing in the center.

i dress like an old school rude boy, my grandparents found an old suit and fedora, its all real sharp

Clothes don't make you rude. i occationaly wear a band t-shirt, or maybe a single button or my Prince Buster work shirt. the modern idea of a "rudie" is total crock to me. if you wanna dress in old clothes, or be skin, thats fine, i wear alot of stuff like that too, but dont think that's what make you rude.

edit: oh, and Dr. Martens... <_< b&w wingtip oxfords... BUT THATS NOT WHAT MAKES ONE RUDE ;_; i swear
