A TV show not a film, but 'Robin of sherwood'. Thats ITV's 80's robin hood series.

It's very pagan oriented...gotta love Herne. wink

What about the occult detective film Angel Heart? Much as I enjoyed the film, the novel, Falling Angel by William Hjortsberg is much better.

One of my favorites. <3 When I asked in this thread, no one had said they'd seen it. It's so bizarre and awesome.

The only movie I can think to add to this list is The Fifth Element.

Another cool television series of the late 1980's was She-Wolf of London, which after moving from the UK to the US became known as Love & Curses.
The UK version of the show had better writing and production values, but the American version was funnier.

Do we have a list of things not to add?

Because I hated The Covenant. It was a gigantic waste of my time. XD

the fountain is a buddhist themed film that i think is a must see for anyone on the value of death and the role in plays, basically as the benchmark of life...

I went into the movie Running on Karma expecting a crap chop-socky film. I got a very valid lesson in Buddhist rebirth and how karma functions in that setting.

And a man in a hilarious muscle suit. 3nodding

I hadn't thought of The Fountain, but yes, it's idea of life, death, and rebirth is very calming.

It's also my favorite movie ^^ I love watching it and getting just a little more from the story each time.
