Wildflower On The Move I watch many cartoons as a kid and with my kids. How about Felix the Cat, Ed, Edd, and Eddie. Yes Looney Toons was great. Not sure of the spelling Seasil the Sea Sick Sea Monster. Yes I know very old. Speed Racer was the really big one in the mid 70's. Josey and the p***y Cats. Hair Bear Bunch. Also I liked watching live kids shows like The Monkeys, The Banana Bunch, and HR Puff N'Stuff. Most of the stuff you guys have mentioned didn't come out until I was either in high school or watching with my own kids. I love The Monkees, I actually own both seasons on DVD now =) I also liked Cecil the Seamonster, Josie and the pussycats, The Banana Splits Show, all those Croft shows... hahaha, many slightly before my time, but in syndication when I was a kid. The New Zoo Review, Today's Special, The Bugaloos... I watched it all =)

Oh my, I'm not even sure I would be able to remember the names of a lot of the cartoons I loved off the top of my head.
Some of my uber favourites: Adventures of the Little Prince The Snorks Rainbow Brite Gummi Bears Inspector Gadget Transformers Punky Brewster (yeah, there was a cartoon version) Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles The Super Mario Bros Super Show (I was significantly older for this one... I just liked hearing Lou Albino sing!)

Ah, man... I remember... the good ol' days... before they tried to be like anime...
Seriuosly, guys, you had your own charm! Stick to your specialties! Pinky and the Brain? GENIUS! Earthworm Jim? Sweet! Eek the Cat? Hilarious! I loved that stuff!
Anime has its own charm, but the two... they're not compatible. Or rather... it's just not as good when you try to mix the two.
Lunatics Unleashed? What the hell? Why are the roadrunner and coyote TALKING? Who's the girl bunny? that's space jam wanna be? What's with the overall LACK OF BEING FUNNY?
Transformers Animated? What... the... hell? You took something perfectly good... AND RUINED IT. What... is wrong with you?
I miss the good old days... back when we had both good anime AND good cartoons. Now? Most cartoons suck... the ones that don't, well, hope you have cable. Chowder's weird... but pretty good. Cartoon Network has some good stuff on it when you look for it, but other than that... good luck. Nothing is like the old classics, though. Most all of it tries and fails to be anime...

A ton of memorable shows! I sort of miss those days, and I wonder what good shows kids have today. Besides Spongebob, I have no idea what cartoons kids are watching besides imported anime on Cartoon Network.
I have to say, I love that Hollywood is making films about a lot of 80s shows despite some being butchered. I'm really anticipating the Thundercats, Gatchaman, and Astroboy movies that are being produced. I thought the TMNT movie was very well done.
I watched absolutely every cartoon as a kid, even the stranger ones, from Swat Cats to Tazmania to Pinky and the Brain to Project GeekR to Bucky O Hare and Mummies Alive. eek

Most cartoons today are crap though.. full of a bunch of lewd junk and fart jokes apparently don't get old. o_O What happened to all the awesome Disney stuff like Darkwing Duck and Rescue Rangers?
The only good "cartoons" anymore is anime. XD

The old cartoons were more fun and exciting! I mean, He-Man and Zoids were great shows, He-Man was renewed and great!
Now some of the cartoons are... strange.

Full of nothing but foolish humor for foolish people. I want those genuine laughs that make you laugh so hard it starts to hurt, those that don't try to be funny, but just are. The good stuff from when I myself was a brat. Now? We get crap.
