"Oh I'm sure but I want to be cautious so I'm afraid I'll stick with ginger ale." At that moment, his Mother appeared with a glass of the tan soda: "Thank you, Mother." Faye promptly sat down, hands perched on his belly and took some of Ducan's cake. Alcee stood as everyone settled to their seats; he was tapping fork to glass till everyone looked at him. Into the wireless mic, he said in his usual cool and calm voice:
"Good evening everyone~! I am Alcee Arobin, Faye's dear friend. If you didn't already know, I met Faye when we were studying abroad in France. He was sitting at an outside cafe, by himself, reading French cookbooks. I came up to him, speaking in French and he said: 'I'm sorry. I don't understand.' I then answered in English why was he reading French cookbooks. Faye responded by saying that he was amazed about how beautiful the presentation was."
There was a chorus of 'awww's across the tent's floor as Faye blushed sheepishly and embrassassed:
"Faye was the first person I met who was so excited...so positive about every single experience. His eyes would widen at little things like our aprons! He told me that he felt so chef-fy with his new apron!" Alcee laughed along with his audience than caught Faye's eye: "I don't mean to embrass you, ma petite but I just want to say how much you changed my life through our friendship and how excited I am to see you so happy. You amaze me, Faye, but not just because you're a pretty picture." He held up this glass: "So I propose a toast to the happy couple and wish them the best, baby, marriage and all!"

Ducan kissed Faye's knuckles as the guests clapped and whistled, clinking glasses after Faye's speech.
Kevin, being the best man stood up next. He looked extremely nervous in front of everyone staring at him, seeing as how this wasn't a case argument, but rather a sentimental speech. Danny squeezed his hand and he gave a small smile, relaxing slightly.
"Erm... As you all know, I'm Ducan's older brother Kevin and... Well, there's a lot to say about the groom. He grew up with a love of anything science-fiction and positively out of this world. He was always bringing home clumps of unidentifiable things, insisting they had been dropped by aliens."
Ducan dropped his head as many grins and chuckles from his friends were turned to him.
"And, uh... Let's see... I do believe it was Ducan who helped support me through law school, always reminding me to eat and do my laundry. And now he has someone to share his life with, and I... well, I have never seen Ducan this happy. So, I say cheers to the new married couple and hope my little nephew will be born happy and healthy."
And with that, he abruptly sat down, his face all red, but was rewarded with a kiss from Danny. Ducan felt gratitude for his brother, knowing how hard it must have been for him to talk that long in front of so many people, shy as he truly was. And of course, the audience applauded once more amidst cheers and whistles.
(( Omgz, we have reached page 69! biggrin lolol... Hahaha, I'm silleh. ><;; ))

((Faye and Ducan LOVE that number!! XDDDD *dies* Oh btw, Alcee made that speech not Faye. He's about to make his speech now.))
Faye kissed Kevin's and Alcee's cheeks in thanks, he was really happy that both of them said such wonderful things. The baker was handed a microphone and Ducan assisted him in standing:
"First, I would like to thank everyone for coming and celebrating this occasion with us. I just hope we have this big of a turnout at the baby shower!" The crowd laughed and clapped: "But really, I cannot tell you how much each of you mean to me, especially the Dartmoores for adopting me with open arms. As you all know, I have had my share of hurdles to get over in the past. At that time, I truly believed I didn't deserve happiness. But now that I found Ducan and became pregnant, I couldn't even bear being without it." He held Ducan's hand as he teared up: "Stupid hormones!" Everyone laughed: "So again thank you all for supporting us in our marriage."
((We need to think what the baby's name is going to be!!))

Ducan slipped the microphone out of Faye's hand and added, "And by the way, any and all diaper packets will be very much appreciated. We'd like to stock up early."
The guests laughed and the wedding couple seated themselves amongst applause and cheers.
"Don't cry, love," Ducan said, wiping away the small tears forming in Faye's eyes. He kissed his husband's cheek and rubbed his back soothingly.
(( Uh... Ahm. Leo? Or maybe Aurelius? O.o)

((I was looking up unusual Celtic names and I came up with 'Vortigern' and since Faye has French descent I found 'Dureau' and 'Serpahin'. I REALLY like Aurelius!! ^ _ ^))
"Oh puu!" Faye sniffed, blushing: "I'm sorry, Dukey, I don't know what came over me. Anyway, I really hope your diaper announcement will come through." He snuggled against his husband and listened intently to other speeches. There was two more hours of celebration before guests started to leave. Each one stopped by the table to kiss the couple goodnight and to chat briefly. The band packed up, while the waiters helped clean. It was eight before Ducan and Faye got in their car to go home: "You still haven't told me where our honeymoon is..." Faye bothered his husband, adding a poke.

(( I was playing around with French-Latin names, and I remember Aurelius, which also comes in different versions like Aurèle and Aurélien. ))
Ducan smiled mysteriously. "Well, it's supposed to be a surprise. You'll know once I get the tickets in a few days. But for now, I think we need a good long rest. It's been a wonderful but tiring day."
The ride home was pretty quick as no traffic abounded. Ducan parked the car and helped Faye out, and the two went upstairs to change for bed. Ducan was exhausted, but the fluttering in his stomach would not go away.
He pulled on his black pajama pants and climbed into bed, waiting for Faye. He took this opportunity to wrap his mind around his new status: he was married. Ducan Dartmoore was married. He was going to have to change his biography in a while, the one printed on the back of his books, to include that he "currently lived with his husband Faye and his son." They had yet to have settled on a name, but Ducan was sure they would find one soon. Right now, he was still glowing and beaming over the fact that he was married.

Faye changed in his comfies, sliding into bed with his husband who had a far off look in his eyes. He started to ask Ducan about it but Faye felt this huge wave of calmness rush over him. It took maybe a few minutes till he was out cold.
((Its very lovely! Time skip?))

Alarm chimed rather loudly around 5 'o clock in the morning. Faye only knew that his secret honeymoon flight left at 7:40 but that was about it. He was smart enough to pack before hand so he didn't have to rush. Which he couldn't because the baker could seem to maneuver out of bed. So he ended up slapping the alarm off and nudging Ducan:
"Love, you got to get up. I can't move." he rolled to his side after a yawn and a stretch: "C'mon, babe, wakey wakey!"

Ducan grumbled and didn't move, turning over. Faye poked him rather loudly and gave out a rather scary threat which had Ducan up and about in three seconds.
"I'm up, I'm up," he mumbled. He walked to the bathroom to brush his teeth and shower with Faye in it to save time.
"Alright," he said as the two sat downstairs half an hour later for breakfast. "Should I tell you where we're going now or would you like to find out when we get to the airport?"
He took out the small folder where both of their tickets were slipped in, waving it in front of his husband.

Faye tried to snatch the folder from Ducan then thought about it: "I guess I can wait. It had better be good with all this suspense youre building." After their luggage was packed, the newlyweds had a brief stop for gas and snacks. Male Pregnancy Protection Agency or MPPA had escorts for them undercover, just in case someone started to ask questions. Faye rolled his bag nonchalantly to the terminal awaiting Ducan's surprise: "Love, you sure you don't need me to carry the shoulder bag?" The baker felt bad, Ducan resembled a pack horse. The employee gave the writer a sympathetic look before turning to Faye:
"May I ask whats the occasion?" She was young and fresh faced. "Honeymoon! But he won't tell me!" Faye huffed, setting some bags oh the scale: "But we're very excited! Its been awhile since our alone time." "I see. Well, I hope you have lots of that! Your guide will be here shortly."

Ducan struggled to the baggage checking counter and all but dropped them onto the rolling mat as he pulled out the passports.
"Don't worry love, I can carry the shoulder bag." Ducan was adamant about Faye getting as little strain as possible.
After having checked in their luggage, the two stood, shuffling their papers back into their pockets.
"Here," Ducan took out the tickets to show him. "I think it's alright to let you know now. We're going to Venice. My father helped us book two first-class seats and we'll be spending two weeks eating pasta and taking gondola rides."
Ducan could already picture the lovely hotel by the canal they would be staying at, getting all dreamy.

"REALLY?!!!" Faye squeaked/squealed: "Oh Ducan, thats so romantic!!" He gave his husband a very sensual kiss before taking his hand to go through security check. It was a while before the couple got to their gate, Faye had been distracted by the sweet smells of Cinnabon. He munched happily while reading over Ducan's shoulder at some sci-fi paperback:
"So are we really going to fair Venice? Its seems so...unreal."

"Indeed we are," Ducan replied, eyes still scanning the book, "And we're going to have a marvelous time. I just hope none of those gondola rowers are handsomer than me." He winked at Faye and gave him a playful peck when they heard the speakers go out through the airport.
"Flight IT3550 to Venice, Italy is now boarding first and business-class passengers."
"That's us," Ducan said, hauling their bags to the gate. Everything ran smoothly for them and they boarded their plane.
"Wow!" was all Ducan could say when he saw the spacious seats they were getting. "Remind me to thank my dad when we get back!"
He tucked the luggage in the compartment above them and placed the smaller bags in front of them, taking a seat.
"I think I'm going to sleep well," he grinned.

First class seats were two seats per row, both chair were soft and comfy, the trays pulled out of the wall instead of in the front seat. Faye snuggled beside the window, opening to watch men in orange vests put luggage on the conveyer belt to load. He turned back to Ducan, who had his jacket off and sipping on his drink while studying his paperback. A male flight attendant with too much gel in his hair came by, Faye quickly used Ducan's jacket to cover his belly:
"Is this your first time flying, young man?" He asked with a cat's grin: "Oh no, I used to be a frequent flyer when I was traveling for culinary school." "Really? So you're not in college?" His voice seemed sadden: "Oh heavens no! I'm in my twenties and on my honeymoon." "Oh...heres your Sprite."
The plastic cup was practically shoved in hand as the flight attendant grumbled off. Faye pouted sadly: i "I wonder why did he reacted like that?"
