Hello all, I'm Metaphorically Insane.

Right now I'm trying to get some money to build a Chaos Army, since I'm totally into their history and all they. Plus, I love playing a total badass. I'm pretty new to the whole Warhammer 40k thing, as I've only known about it for a year or two. I live in Germany, and there arn't many matches in my area so I haven't been able to watch any. However, I have played (And own.) all of the Dawn of War games. I might also include that I love to RP.

Since its been a couple years since I've in-depthly posted in this guild, I figure I'll re-introduce myself.

You can all see my Gaian name, but I'm thinking about changing it soon, just call me Chaos or Lucion

I used to write a lot. I've tried writing a few 40K stories, but I don't think they worked out well because I don't know enough about the universe itself. And then I got out of the habit of writing halfway through high school.

I play 40K and I'm wanting to get into fantasy, but money is pretty tight (me being an upcoming college student doesn't help). I play Tyranids and Witch Hunters, but I'm thinking about selling the latter because I don't like the army. In fantasy I really want to get into Skaven. I think I'm very much a Horde army player.

I've been into GW for many a year now. Played through several editions of 40k With Marines, tau, orks, and now IG.

Took a stab at fantasy and have played Wood elves, bretonians, and Dogs of War, mainly.

Also a huge fan of the specialist games series. I play everything from BFG, to mordhiem, love Necromunda, played a bit of blood bowl, and tried to get int inquisitor and Dark Heresy.

I also love the fiction, especialy the guard books. Cain and Gaunt's Ghosts are particular favorites.

Call me Asmusei; I am still building and painting my army of Tau, color scheme of Urban Camo, the two squads are painted Bolter across their armor and Neutral Grey for the cloth, found a decent acrylic paint to keep it extremely flat, making it look perfect for cloth. No pictures yet, some will be taken once i finish the Crisis Commander.

So what do I intend to do here? Well I'm planning to start a roleplaying game starting with the stories that lies hidden within the real books. I'm curious to see if you're able to do a normal game session online with forums or if it will die of.

I've been a fan of Warhammer ever since high school, when a very good friend told me the story of the Horus Heresy over a break between classes, most of all, Sanguinius' noble sacrifice.

Started reading the books when I started college, my first book being Jonathan Green's Crusade of Armageddon. I've a fan fiction inspired by it knocking around somewhere. The first time I saw The Founding and the Blood Angels Omnibus, I damn near creamed myself. My copy of the former is so dog-eared, I had to have it rebound. I'm not even going to go into what happened to my copy of The Saint.

I charmed my way into a local game club with my knowledge of the fluff. One of them was so impressed, he gave me 2 Captains, 10 Terminators and 18 Tactical Marines, the greater part of 2 Assault of Black Reach sets for a very fair price. With those as a base, I used up my life savings to buy paints and more figures. As of now, I've 2000 points worth of Blood Angels and their armor support. I'm not done yet.

I'm chris_clairvaux, all-around geek. You can all call me Chris. Warhammer is my meat and drink, the fell dreams I live through every night, the bright shield against the oppressive cynicism of reality. It's a pleasure to meet you all.

Hey all, I only started in Warhammer late last year when I picked up my first set of Kroot and Tau Fire Warriors. I've since jumped into Fantasy and just grabbed up a kit for Wood Elves. I haven't played a game yet... but that should change when all my buddies get back for Winter Break in a week or so. I'm still very hazy on rules and have kept mostly to 40k fluff. I'll post up a picture of my Kroot some day. They're the only models I've painted so far. I've primed a lot... but I guess you all know how that goes!

I also play WFRP and Dark Heresy. I'll be launching my first WFRP game later this month, so I'm excited. Oh well, better not chatter on too much. See you all around the guild!

I dont join many guilds but when i saw this one i was compelled to.
I myself love Warhammer 40k and have done everything i can to learn everything about the universe, the roleplaying game and the boardgame.
I myself used to collect a smal amount of space marines, but has since stopped after i found a way to play it for free using a ...not so gamesworkshop supported program razz
