Last few days? It's not going under, is it? It better not be.

*Checks site* ...Looks okay to me.

Much love for ambiguity and perlocutionary effect.

Since Pandora.com went down, I've been mostly sitting in silence, raging at how s**t technology is.

Does anyone know an equivalent system?

They've been forced to end UK service, the 15th was the final day. It's dead now.

Still, all is not lost. The link above informs me that "we will keep a record of your existing stations and bookmarked artists and songs, so that when we are able to launch in your country, they will be waiting for you."

On contacting the people running Pandora.com, they said there was nothing they could do since negotiations broke down with UK licencers (or something, I can't recall) and they forwarded me to this petition. I find the petition system pretty insulting, but submitted to it anyway.

In other news, Sack Trick came up on my randomised MediaPlayer. Crazy bastards.

Curiously enough, a nice bunch of people, and surprisingly grounded.

A few months ago, Pandora stopped working for me, claiming it wasn't available to Canadians.

THE BASTARDS.

I signed up a few days before the 15th, and I didn't see any warnings.

(Not that venting is going to help anything...). This only compounds my opinion that intellectual property and licensing law is as ridiculous as all the people I've met working in it.

Listening to Morrissey's newest stuff.
