Looks like he didn't like how he was raised and turned the other way rebelling from his parents and everything he knew as a kid and dove head first into the hotter side of life. But through those experiences he grew and learned how to be good leading to him becoming the champion of the just and the voice of the people.

I have 2 knights, actually I think I am supposed to have three but I don't remember, point being I think the royal knights are over used pieces of crap.
