He went in for another steal, hoping he could get his hand on the quaffle and steal it away. He really desired to actually score this year around instead of watching it go back and forth. He hadn't even come close, misjudging the boy's speed completely. He couldn't believe the math he was doing in his head was seriously failing him this badly.

Iñigo decided to have another go at the other bludger, while Gypsy seemed to be taking it upon herself to show Eli the ropes. He didn't blame her really, just because he was just about playing terribly. Maybe he was nervous or something, having to actually compete against someone during that year. He had no idea, but he went for it. He needed to get into some kind of rhythm because he couldn't play like this during the season.And he hit it just like that, smashing the target pretty well. But it wasn't good enough for him quite frankly. He wanted to kill the target like he had the previous year. Last year's tryout he had practically been hitting the target every time with huge pace behind each shot. He had to get back to that.

❝Timothy watched Gypsy split them chasers up with Xavier while working with Eli and Inigo with the bludgers. Seeing them go back and forth the way they were he figured they wouldn't make it to the goal for a while so he found himself just aimlessly dodging wild bludgers and watching the seekers (well, seeker) go find the snitch. Finally it seemed that Dylan made it to the goals and made his shot. Determined (and just a little fearful of Gypsy) Timothy made a go for it to stop it before it went through. ❞

Benjamin watched as Timothy had made a great save on the quaffle and was passing it to him. Circling back so he could make the fly back. He started the run again, hoping to actually get to Timothy and get a shot off, but Benjamin hasn't been playing very well as of that point. Well, he wasn't playing very good...just average. Nonetheless, he found himself going towards goal with some pace.

spaceWhen Gypsy slammed the bludger into the target, she was torn between wanting to cheer and scowl. On the one hand, that'd been a damn impressive shot... on the other, why the hell couldn't she hit like that during games?! The scowl won out, and she let out an annoyed huff of air, ruffling the hair at the back of her head in agitation. Then, she spotted movement on the Pitch below. A glance down revealed it was Kaitlyn, and she nearly sagged with relief. If Kaitlyn was here and could be put on reserve for Seeker again, the only position they'd be missing a reserve for would be Keeper, which barely ever got hit anyway. The seventh year handed the bat off to Eli. "I've gotta go take care of her," she said, indicating the redhead. "You guys keep at it."

spaceWith that, she was down on the pitch, waving at Kaitlyn with a grin. "Hey! Glad you made it down!" she said, hoping that her sudden burst of enthusiasm wasn't mistaken for insincerity, because seriously, she was so freaking relieved to see the third year. The captain took the girl's form, very nearly cheering when she saw that she had Seeker down for first choice position (albeit with a question mark, but hell, she'd take it). "Lexine's already up there snitch-searching, so, if you wanna hop on a broom and join her, feel free." With that, Gypsy mounted her broom, figuring that she probably didn't need to supervise the two girls, but wanting to do so anyway just in case. Besides, she could keep an eye on her two beaters at the same time easily enough. It wasn't that hard.

Probably not, though, since judging by how easily Timothy had caught the last one, and how tight Benjamin seemed to have the hold on the ball, it would be no easy task.

Benjamin had gotten to goal, ready to make the shot. He was on the front doorstep and he had to find his way passed Timothy somehow. He wound up and went for a powerful shot to the right most goal. He really hoped this shot came out of his hand the right way, because he knew that for a shot to overpower the keeper, it had to have the right spin...pace...technique. Everything had to be perfect. And what had come out was not what he went for at all. It was weak and Benjamin just felt that it was going to be saved. He actually felt like he ruined his chance as soon as the quaffle left his hand.
