Scarlet hugged him back and was still talking to Rui this time not being able to hold in her tears, "I can't go back Rui....I can't go back..." Her sobs got louder and she flet her aura get a bit darker.

Rui didn't know what to do at this point...was he to let her stay or make her come back.

" Don't cry.......". Ventura said to Scarlet as he stroked her hair. " What's wrong swee.......". Ventura stopped himself before he could finish the sentence. ' Were only friends. Just friends..... '. Ventura reminded himself while taking his hands off of her soft hair.

"Scarlet," Rui said softly. "You have to go back, that way we can truely see what is going on. Im sure theres away to stop your vision from coming true. You know you can't be left here either...you might hurt the human.." He sighed and hoped she would understand.

Scarlet shook her head not knowing what to say or do anymore. There so manythings that were going wrong and now she cant even tell the guy infront of her how she really feels.

Though he had took his hand off Scarlet's hair he still continued to hug her. ' Why doesn't she just say doesn't like me......'.Ventura thought to himself. He rested his head on her shoulder ignoring what Rui had said.

"Ok Rui i'll go back...but if we can't find out why its happening then...will have to do something else." She sighed and calmed down a bit.

"Ok well..i'll leave you two alone...I'll wait outside." Rui was glad that Scarlet decided to go back and left the room.

" Scarlet......what's going on."Ventura said to her as Ross left the room.

Scarlet told Ventura everything she told Rui EVERYTHING. When she finished she brought her knees to her chest and hugged them. She sighed and was exhuasted for some reason.

Brai sat in Ross' room. They were going to visit their father, then go to the spring to bath. Brai hadn't seen his father in almost a year, as he'd been on a mission, then had gone to the castle to confirm the news that Scarlet was back, as well as his half brother Ross.

Ross walked through the open door way. "sorry Brai. I am ready now." he smiled as he tossed his energy ring to his brother. "on the way though, I'll need you to fill that up for me, father will kill both of us other wise." The half elf smiled as he turned and walked out of the room.

Brai stood and examined the ring. He smiled as he read the ancient characters inscribed into the inner of the ring. He followed Ross out of the tree house, then out of the tree itself. They walked side by side as Brai filled the ring.

Ross smiled. "that should do brother, if it's to full he'd think I've been stealing energy from others." he smiled and retrieved his energy ring. He slipped it onto his finger. "ah, we're here." he smiled pointing at the tree. It was the only one in the area which had an elf residing in it.

Ventura bent down to where Scarlet was and picked her up. He layed her in the bed and sat down next to her. " So you don't hate me.....". He said with a light chuckle while stroking her hair.

"No.." she gave a weak smiled and tryed to laugh but she failed. She now had other things to worry about. But for now she would live in the current moment.
