"I kinda know what the exterior looks like, though," Kyo said searching through his mind. "It has a green roof and the walls are a kind of peach color, but that's all I remember."

Gikishou smiled. "The kai-la restaurant. They make every type of food imaginable from mexican to japanese. It's a buffet." he told him, kissing his hair. "We'll go right now if you want."

Kyo nodded. "Sure," he said, smiling in excitement. "I've been wanting to know what's going on in there since that day you gave me a tour around the town."

GIkishou chuckled, kissing him lightly. "It's a date." He said, standing and taking his hand and kissing it lightly. "Let's go."

Kyo blushed when he heard the word 'date'. He hadn't expected it to be, but he was perfectly okay with that. Going to places with Giki-san was usually a nice way to use free time.

Gikishou smiled as he noticed the blush. "'It's a date' can either mean going on an actual date, or just saying that it's an event you'll attend." He clarified, kissing his forehead lightly. He took him out to the truck and helped him in, getting in himself and driving to the restaurant.

Kyo stared out the window at the passing buildings as Giki-san drove. The people walking on the street seemed peaceful and untroubled. Maybe they had no trouble in their lives.

GIkishou pulled into the parking lot and got out, helping Kyo out as well and walking with him to the entrance, paying for two people and finding them some seats. Once they found a table, he set down his jacket and led Kyoto the buffet carts. Each had a flag to show what kind of food was there. "What kind do you want?

Kyo looked at all the flags. There were so many countries, but he wasn't sure which to choose. The French flag, however, did seem to catch his attention. Maybe they can go look through that cart first.

Gikishou smiled, waiting for him to decide, and seeing his gaze linger on the french flag. "I assume you want to try the french foods first?" He asked, waiting for an answer.

Kyo nodded, still looking at the cart. All he could see was a bunch of colors where food was probably placed, since they were too far away to see any specific details. Still, it looked quite interesting.

Gikishou nodded and walked over to the line of carts with french food in tubs or on rotating disks.

Kyo was amazed at the various contents of the cart. So far everything seemed normal, except for what looked like snail shells. He heard the stuff in the shells was called escargot, but why snail shells?

"Escargot is the french word for 'snail'." He whispered to him,getting some off them to just taste.

"People actually eat snails?" Kyo asked, more curious than disgusted. "Are snails some kind of French delicacy? If so, it would be understandable."
