Rumors and Plants (NightWerewolf here)

Alex smiled and put an arm around her. "I love you too Eva. Now and forever."  

[elphy_and_fiyero]

Eva smiled and rested her forehead against his. "So how do you think we should tell our parents?" She asked and began to fiddle with the ring on her finger.
 

[NightWerewolf]

"Straight forward. I think my parents may think I'm a little young to propose to someone. But they like you. I'm sure there won't a be a problem." Alex nodded. "But I don't know you're parents as well as you do."  

[elphy_and_fiyero]

"My parents will be fine with it. I'm sure my brothers will too. They definitely like you. But I meant, should we get them together again or just call them?" Eva thought of another picnic or even a little dinner party.
 

[NightWerewolf]

"Oh." Alex chuckled a little and blinked. "I think we should have them over." He nodded. "After it went so well last time and everything."  

[elphy_and_fiyero]

Eva yawned and nodded. "Yeah, we'll invite them here and I'll make some stakes or something."

Alex nodded. "You tired?" He asked holding her close. "And stakes would be a great idea." He smiled and kissed forehead.

Eva yawned again and nodded. "Today just wore me out." She giggled and rested her head on his shoulder.

"Let's get some sleep then. It's been a long day." Alex said and picked her up, carrying her in his arms as he headed up the stairs.

Eva smiled as he carried her to the bedroom. She breathed in his scent and he set her down once they reached the room. Eva changed into her pajamas and crawled into bed. She patted next to her and smiled at Alex.

Alex took off his shirt and crawled into bed with her.

Eva wrapped her arms around his chest and smiled at his warmth. The little girl inside her head was doing circles and cartwheels. Soon she fell asleep. In her dream, it was her wedding day. Her father father walked her down the aisle. The ceremony was beautiful but when she was about to kiss him, Alex's face changed into Mike's. She started to run but Mike continued to chase her. Eva sat up, waking up from her dream. Alex was asleep by her side.
It was just a dream. She thought. Her breathing was heavy and she realized that she was sweating.

Alex had had his arms around her, but when she got up they fell onto the bed with a soft thud. He was snoring quietly, unaware of Eva's nightmare.

Eva smiled at Alex's peaceful face. She lied back down and fell back asleep.

Alex woke up just as the sun broke through the window. He sat up slowly and kissed the sleeping Eva gently.
