"What!? Crimson Mode!?" As the blood red Digimon appeared before Kazu it started to spout some jibberish. Kazu didn't understand it but the guy sounded angry. "Imperialdramon... If he's Bio-Merged then--" Gallantmon CM vanished. Kazu wheeled around to see the Blood Knight behind him, sword outstreched. "What the hell?" "ARGH!" The scream from Imperialdramon caught Kazu off guard, looking down it was like a hundred attacks had hit Imperialdramon in the space of a second. Cuts suddenly burst onto his armour and red code splashed into the air where the attacks hit his skin. "No! Imperialdramon!" The Warrior turned towards Gallantmon, Kazu gripping to his shoulder tightly. "So you're choosing to fight huh!? Well then, Kazu?" Kazu nodded and patted his partner on the shoulder. "We'll just have to beat him down! I won't have him fingering us as the evil ones!" Kazu remembered that attack. A Giga Crusher delivered straight into the Plaza of Network City obliterating it almost instantly. Kazu grimaced as a Blue fire sprang up around him. "We all did things we wern't proud of that day! So back off!" Imperialdramon was about to lurch forwards when he felt something different. Kazu's Digi-Soul was fluctuating, darting around, unable to stay constant. It was like something was holding him back. "Imperialdramon... We'll fight him, but we can't hurt him, I won't have another Tamer's blood on my hands!" So that was it. Imperialdramon nodded and raised an arm, a blade sliding it's way out. "Splendor Blade!" Imperialdramon dove forwards, aiming a powerful diagonal slash at Galantmon's back. "No look out!" Kazu's worried voice punched through the air causing Imperialdramon to veer his attack off course, slicing the air next to Gallantmon instead. "Why!?" Imperialdramon yelled as his attack sailed off target, he was totally exposed to attack. "That Tamer is inside Gallantmon! We cut the Digimon down we cut him down." Kazu's Digi-Soul aura darted about the place, his hesitation to strike the opposing Tamer was costing him dearly in the battle. "I will not let what happend to Lief happen to this kid!"

Gallantmon CM baced himself. But the attasck went wide. "Huh vos es condita is securus. Royal Saber! Gallantmon CM began spining his lance round. Then he drove it towards Imperialdramon.
(in Rei and Gigimon's mind) "What does he mean we all did something we weren't proud of?" "I dunno? I'm not pround of helping a stanger." "What? Wait a min...hey! "Just kidding Rei." Rei then felt a sharp jab in his mind. like a spear. It was red. A small tentical of blue digisoul then came and healed it up. "What the hell...?"

"Damn it!!!" Imperialdramon roared as he grabbed onto the lance. The spinning burned against his hands as the point punched into his chest armour. "Kazu! What...Do...I...Do!?" Imperialdramon couldn't hold the spinning lance forever, Kazu knew that much, but any counter attack he used could hurt the Tamer. Dark circles were under his eyes, his bloody and torn clothing were much baggyer then they had been. Lief's death had tolled heavily on Kazu both mentally and physically, his mind was racing, from his desire for peace to his will to fight. From the pain of his friend to the risk of fighting back. "Come on Kazu!" Kazu's head snapped up at the voice. Head flicking from side to side, desperatly trying to find the source of the voice. "...Lief?" Kazu's lapse of attention was broken as Imperialdramon roared in pain, the spinning lance had reached flesh. "Imperialdramon no!" "For God's sake Kazu! Fight back!" Kazu's pupils shrank back into dots. "B-But... If I do then... He might die." Kazu stood, totally zoned out on Imperialdramon's shoulder, the Dragon warrior roared again and beat his giant wings, propelling himself backwards, red code now streaming from the hole in his chest armour. He panted heavily, Kazu's Digi-Soul had totally vanished now and he was talking to himself. He was having difficulty maintaining his Mega form without his Tamers assistance. "Kazu... Snap outta it." Again Imperialdramon was left in a situation where he was at a disadvantage. This fight was looking bad...

(Inside Rei's mind) "Garghhhhh!" Thousands of the Red spears where pentertrating Rei's miind now. The digisoul came up to meet it and counter it, but they were evenly matched. "What's going on! what are these things!" One of the spears went straight ino him. He saw a vision of when he was younger, Jai and him were playing together... A whip of digisoul sntched the image away from him. "My past, how..." Another went into him. This showed th time when Jai shoved him off and bullyed him. It too was taken away my his digisoul. He then got hit by a strand of digisoul. He saw himself and digisoul wrapped around him. He was angry, confused, paranoid. Kinda like he felt on the outside. Then he saw a plain him. Eyes red, then purple, then blue and then it was the him he saw covered in digisoul. "My digisoul is... harming me? Then this red stuff must be my body fighting back..."
((Gallantmon CM)) "Damn Damn Damn! Rei! come back it's hard controling this by myself!" Gallantmon CM was flying all over the place. With Rei stuck in internal conflict, it was up to Gigimon to control The Gallantmon body. As if on que, Rei's mind returned. It was not much better. A massive burst of Blue digisoul burst out Gallantmon CM's right side and a giant red aura out the left. I Can't Control My Self. Raghhhhhh!" Gallantmon CM burst forward. Sword out stretched he aimed it at the Tamer Kazu's heart.

"If we head for the future..."
Kazu Matsumoto
"...Then we can be forgiven for the past." Imperialdramon looked up to see the explosion of Digi-Soul eminating from Gallantmon CM. "Oh no..."In an intense moment of speed, Gallantmon vanished from his spot and closed the gap between himself and Imperialdramon in under a second. But it wasn't Imperialdramon he was aiming for, "Kazu!"The boy looked up as if waking from a deep sleep. His weary eyes took in the situation with utter fear. "No... Not again."He whispered, it seemed like the entire universe had slowed to nothing more then a crawl. Kazu couldn't move, only watch the lance come towards him in agonisingly slow motion. "C'mon Kazu. I thought you were better than this."The voice from before. So familiar. "I've seen you fight. Felt it as well. So why're you holding back on this guy?"Kazu's eyes dropped, "I...I let you die. I can't let that happen to another person. Not by my hand."A shadowy figure seemed to appear behind Kazu. It shrugged. "The only reason I died was because I asked you to. Otherwise who knows what wouldn've happened to the Digital World? I could have been a bad guy!"Kazu shook his head, the lance was only a few inches away now, time still crawling along. "But... You're dead. What I've done in the past, it'll follow me into the future, I... I can never atone for my sin."A bark of laughter came from the shadowy figure. "Oh please, stop getting all sentimental! What you did was helping the World. You have to accept that. If it wasn't you who did it, someone else further down the line would have done."Kazu shook his head. He just couldn't believe it. "I need to be forgiven. But I don't know how to do that, I saved these two Tamers but one life isn't equal to another. No price can be put on a soul! What should I do!"Angry tears streamed down Kazu's face, the shadowy figure turned to face Kazu and clapped a hand onto his shoulder. "You want me to forgive you?"Kazu nodded, tears still flowing like rivers down his face. The shadowy figure sighed as the shadow began to fade, a more physical form seeming to manifest. Lief Pyrex stood behind Kazu, one hand resting on his shoulder, looking at the lance, now lightly pressing against Kazu's chest slowly piercing his skin. "If you head for the future, I'll forgive you for your past. And even when all seems useless, a ray of hope will pierce through the darkness and light your way. Because I believe you, others believe in you. If you stay in this slump forever then that belief would be ill-placed. And because of that those who believed would lose their hope. And if hope is lost, then so to is the will to live. That's why, if you head towards tomorrow, with your head raised high, with that cocky attitude I know you have and with the will to fight to protect those who believe in you!"Kazu looked up, a look of surprise on his face. As Lief spoke the tears dried, his eyes seemed to brighten and a grin spread across his face. "Lief... Thank you!"The Blazing Blue flames of Kazu's Digi-Soul erupted around him, restored once more to it's full power. As the flames sprang up, Kazu's clothing was finally torn to shreads. In it's place the Digi-Soul wrapped around him, first his feet, then his legs, the waist, his torso and his arms. The Digi-Soul shone brightly, bursting to reveal a brand new set of clothes. Black trousers and shoes and a bright red long sleeved top. But it didn't stop there, Digi-Soul wrapped loosely around his torso and arms again bursting into solidarity as a new black jacket with a white inner lining. "Heh, looking good buddy. These clothes are representative of your soul, reflected upon you. Though I think they're missing something..."Kazu nodded at the apparation of Lief. "I know what's missing."Kazu stretched a hand out to the side, his Digi-Soul spiralling around the hand in a double helix, lifting his hand into the air Kazu yelled: "This outfit needs more awesome!"Swiping his hand past his face, the double helix of firey energy latched around Kazu's eyes solidifying into a pair of large, pointy, black glasses. Lief clapped, chucling to himself as Kazu's transformation was completed. "Looks like you're back to normal. Well, I need to go. Remember our deal ok?"With that, the image of Lief broke down like sand in the wind. Kazu closed his eyes, in one last sign of respect. "Thank you Lief. I... Will head towards the future!"Time suddenly burst back to full speed. Kazu and Imperialdramon vanished in a raging inferno of Digi-Soul that deflected the Lance and sent a pulse of Blue flame across the skies. Kazu landed on the ground next to Justin, Toru and Jai. "Sorry about that guys. I don't know what came over me. What d'you think of the new clothes?"Kazu lowered his glasses and winked at the group. Imperialdramon stood over the group, still injured but feeling much better now that Kazu's Digi-Soul was back. The pair looked to see how the attack had left Gallantmon CM. "Still worried about killing him?"Kazu shook his head lightly. "He'll be fine. Besides, we need to knock some sense into that boy."Kazu again turned to the group. "If he comes at us again, leave him to me. I'm the one he seems pissed off at."Kazu felt refreshed, like a weight had been lifted. Now that he had Lief's forgiveness, he was back. "And even when everything seems useless, a ray of hope will pierce through the darkness and light your way." [[OOC: In my next post I'm going to do the Future Warp to catch up with the event, just so you guys know ^.^ PM me if you want a lift ]]

[Marcus and company enter from Drive City]
The trio of digimon and human moved across the desert lands, steadily approaching the mountainous landscapes titled "File Mountain." Memories of all that had happened here came flooding back to Marcus as he remembered when he and his early team came here to vanquish the tyrannous Airdramon of the Wind Guardians. His mind then raced to when he was first re-united with Chris during the War of the Memories. All these instances had to do with battling digimon. This fact made him wonder if there would be another fight to come that would involve Chris...
The boy in a white and gold, sleeveless coat and khaki colored jeans trailed behind a purple and gray Lillymon and a Pandamon. He was silent as he walked, thinking over his life and how it was finally going to come to an end. He looked back in the direction of Drive City, wondering if Chris and the others were dead yet. It didn't matter as he was soon to cease existing. "So... how far are we?"
"Not that far," the lillymon would reply. "We're just going to go through the mountains to the Underworld and then go through there to Spiral Castle." She chuckle at the thought and would look up at the bright blue sky with white clouds that seemed to circle File Mountain.
"I see..." Marcus continued to walk towards his doom. The closer he got to the mountain, the more he wanted to turn away, but he knew that it was fate that was forcing him forward and that turning away, or at least trying would only put more people in danger.
He would ask as they were now climbing the mountain, taking a paved path that was heading towards a lift that would take them down to their next destination. Marcus would be silent and then have a question to ease his troubled mind "So how does this work?"
"Hmm? How does what work?" Lillymon would look back at Marcus as she flew above him with gray wings that looked like withered leaves.
"The eviction process?" The pandamon would tilt his head back towards Marcus. "Who knows, you're the first human to have this done to you." Pandamon shrugs off the question as there is no real answer. "I do have a question for you though. Why are you so calm about it? I mean, I expected a bit of a fight from you, but you gave in so easily."
The three reached the lift and took it down to down to the city beneath the mountain. Marcus thought as they traveled down, all light starting to vanish and then be replaced by artificial lanterns. "Guess you could say that I know what's going to happen to me and that no matter whether I fight or not, the results will be the same."
"Hmph... sounds like you've given up." "No, I've just come to the conclusion that this is me. Where I'm heading is all my fault and cannot be changed. Any further attempts to delay the inevitable will only end in hurting others over and over again." Marcus would clench his fist and watch as a flicker of orange digisoul would ignite. "The day my soul was tainted with the orangish red color of wrath, my fate was sealed to walk this path."
"Wow... you've put some thought into this." Lillymon would feel a slight blush overcoming her brown skin. "You're even cooler than I thought!"
"Hmph... whatever." Ocelot looks away and towards the stone walls that now surround them. "Won't be too long before you come to see this so called fate of yours head on. Hope you're prepared for it."
Marcus looked up at the small hole above where light seemed to pierce through but not travel, as if afraid to come any closer. The boy reaches his hand up as if trying to grab it and clenches his fist shut to block the light. "I am prepared."

Gallantmon CM was spun widly away as the attack was blocked. "Gaaaaaahhh! Whats going on!" He felt the power of flight escaping from his wings. The two inferno's of digisoul and mind grew larger than they had before. They started clashing with each other desperatly.
(Rei and Gigimon's mind)
Rei felt like he was wrapped in a cocoon. He could barley move as the two forces wrapped around him. Gigimon stood whatching. He felt hepless to save Rei. He couldn't do anything to stop the two forces. Even if he tried, he just got flicked away like an insignifiscnt flea. He wasn't even sure which one was good and which was bad. The red and the blue just wrapped around Rei and fought. "Rei..."
"Grhaaaaaaaaa! Some one help me! It hurts!" He felt himself lose grip of the spear, and of his control. The body wasn't doing as he commanded anymore. It gripped the sword in two hands and began to fly towards the group of foes. His wings stpped working and he just kept falling towards them. He went to swing his sword but he lost grip of that too. So he just fell towards them...

[Chris and his digimon enter from Drive City]
Chris sighed as he stared into the horizon, they were reaching File Mountain, but it did little to comfort the tamer. He sat atop his birdramon, Skylar, with his two other digimon a gabumon named Dante, and a gatomon named Artemis. His three digimon were just as on edge as Chris, they knew that they were heading for what was likely to be their graves, but the three digimon also all knew Marcus and what he meant to Chris and they were ready to go to hell and back, literally, for him. All four of them were deep in thought thinking about their lives, their future, and what was to come.
Skylar watched as he flew toward the mountain. He was Chris's first digimon and had known both Chris and Marcus the longest. He knew the connection between the two of them was very strong, it was the closest to a pure love that Skylar had ever seen. He knew that it was likely they wouldn't make it out of where they were going alive, but he was okay with that he had learned from the two of them that you have to do everything you can to protect the people you love. Now that he thought about it he felt he had lived a good life and dying didn't seem that bad of a price for the life he had. The two of them had been through everything together, to Skylar even though they were two different beings they were brothers. To him Marcus was family and he couldn't just leave family perish. He still remembered the day he and Chris met, it seemed like the best day of his life. He smiled as they grew ever closer he was ready for what ever would happen.
Dante was laying on his back on Skylar, he stared into the vast sky thinking. He had been Chris's second partner, he knew of how Chris obtained him, he owed both his life and his friendship with Chris to Marcus. He still remembered the day his egg hatched Marcus had been right there with Chris. He knew the two tamers deserved to be together and he would fight to his last breath for the two of them. All his power was thanks to the two of them, he remembered when they obtained the power to digiviolve him to Dorugreymon. He had achieved that power in order to aide the two tamers in their journey. As he stared at the sky he saw a cloud that changed to appear to look like a digimon, one he was very familiar with. He smiled and laughed a little, Chris wasn't the only one who had come to find love, he had fallen for Marcus's partner Destin. He owed the two of them for that as well. He remembered how much the digimon had changed. He would save him and Marcus. He knew that if they were going to perish, then this is how he wanted it to happen. He wanted to fall trying to save those he loved. It was a heroes death, he had learned that from Hiro. He had learned so much from all of them. He smiled thinking back to happier times really made him feel better.
Artemis was Chris's final digimon he had out. He had the least connection to Marcus, but still he owed Chris for everything. He had to admit if you had told him a year ago he would die fighting against evil digimon he would've laughed and called you crazy. When Chris had found him Artemis was working for virus digimon. At the time he had no problem killing and fighting for the dark side. However, Chris came to him and gave him a second chance. He had swore to himself that day that he would dedicate his life to protecting and helping Chris. If Marcus meant as much to Chris that he was willing to throw everything away for him then Artemis was going to be right there with him the whole way. It was funny he always thought when he neared death he'd find it a lot more frightening, but the thought of going down fighting for a good cause made him feel warm inside. He smiled Marcus was lucky to have someone to chase after him, and Chris was lucky to have someone he was willing to risk his life for.
Finally was Chris he was so worried about Marcus he felt like he had a million thoughts, worries, fears, memories all running through his head all at once. He remembered their life before they had come to the digital world. They had been friends then, it seemed like that was so long ago almost like another life. When he came to the digital world he was confused and scared, that was when he met Skylar. Back then he couldn't imagine the possability of all the adventures he had taken part in. It wasn't long until he ran into Marcus, who would've thought they'd run into each other in the digital world. He owed a lot to Marcus, he had saved his life what seemed like a million times and more. If it wasn't for him Chris knew his life wouldn't have been a fraction of how good it had been. Now that he thought about it he had so many chances to tell Marcus how he really felt, but he was always so scared. Now he felt like he'd give anything to have one last chance to tell Marcus how he really felt. His heart ached at the thought of losing him, he had lost him once and he never wanted to again. Every adventure he had been on he had managed to cross paths with Marcus, he seemed to be like his guardian angel, it seemed ironic that now Chris was trying to save him. He looked ahead and what seemed like a million memories of Marcus seemed to pass in front of his eyes, running into one another, going after the digimon families and facing them, getting Dante, training with Hiro, going after the digimemories, even the chaos organization. Right now he wished his last words to Marcus had been what he had always wanted to tell him. "...Marcus please be alright" He said. No matter how much Marcus had changed he knew that deep down it was still the Marcus he remembered. "...I'm coming to save you, like I should have done in the first place" He said. He looked at his digimon and then his digivice and saw the digimemory of light and smiled a bit "Marcus, I will bring the light back to you" He said. He then pressed a button releasing the digimemory back to the vaccine tower, if he lived he would one day reclaim it, if not then he hoped they would understand what he fell for. He remembered Marcus had worked for them at one time. "Marcus I know you can't hear me, but I hope you don't give up hope, I hope you know I'm coming" He said. He felt a tear roll down his face. "You know Chris we're not scared" Skylar said to him his other digimon nodded in agreement. Chris smiled and nodded himself before they landed and Skylar returned to his rookie form as they stepped on the platform and began lowering. "...I'm coming to save you" He whispered.

"If we head for the future..."
Kazu Matsumoto
"...Then we can be forgiven for the past." "So he's gonna keep fighting huh? Fine! Imperialdramon! We'll show him the ultimate power we hold!Crimson Mode was falling towards the group at an incredible pace, surrounded by two fighting spirits of Digi-Soul. If he made contact it'd explode and cause an unprecidented amount of damage. Kazu pulled out his D-Arc and pressed the leftmost button, the screen cycled to the image of the Nature Spirit Digi-Memory. He clicked on it and the Digivice exploded with a green light. "It's time to... Bio-Merge!"Kazu was lifted of the ground by a burning Blue-Green aura, spiralling through the sky until he was on level with Imperialdramon. "Kazu Matsumoto! Imperialdramon Fighter Mode! Bio-Merge to:" There was an intense burst of light as the pair fused. "Imperialdramon Paladin Mode!"The Paladin emerged, his glorious White Wings spread wide, he lifted his arm and a bolt of lightning, as if from nowhere, struck his hand and wrapped around it viciously. "Initialize!"The Sword appeared in his hand in a blinding flash, The Paladin looked at the screaming, enraged Gallantmon and drew back his blade. "I shall purify your worn out soul. Omni-Slash!"A wave of impossibly bright light erupted from the end of The Paladin's sword and flew towards the flailing Gallantmon in an attempt to strike him with the burning fury of purity. "Something is wrong..."Indeed it was, a green tendril was wrapping itself around The Paladin, begining with his sword and wrapping itself down his arm and torso. "This tendril. It has been tainted by the flow of time. It is... Pulling us forward!"Tendrils began to approach the other Tamers present, one would latch to Gallantmon's foot and another would edge towards Toru and his Digimon like a snake. "Damn it! If this keeps up then it'll drag us through time!"Remenant energy from the battle against Alter at the Vaccine Sentinal Tower had latched onto the Nature Spirit Memory, now that Kazu had used it and unleased such a power it was free andattampting to restore balance with it's presence. It would pull all it touched through time, regardless of who or what they were. The Paladin writhed and pulled but nothing, not even his sword could free him from the tendril. "Graah! Stay close! If we meet in the future! We have a greater chance of survival!!!"All who were caught in the tendrils would feel a sudden squeeze as it clamped down on them wrenching them. For a moment it would seem like they were all there but as the tendrils tugged their outlines blurred, leaving just a smudge of colour. Even that would be slowly removed as the tendrils tugged more. In the sky a portal seemed to open and a tiny ball of light shone down into the centre. The blurs of colour would swirl around this new ball of ligh. It shrank back, becoming impossibly small but clearly visible. It exploded. The light flooded the area filling every nook and cranny, no shadow would exist for a few seconds. Then the light vanished. All trace of those caught in the tendrils was gone. As it they had simply vanished without a trace. The reality? They had been pulled through time, decades into the future to a distant island where the last humans and their Digimon partners live, un-noticed by the mighty Yggdrasil. The event that Kazu was told of by the Great Creator has passed and the Digital World has been re-set. This is the tale of the Gold Hawks, Black Swords and Blue Falcons and the challenges they face in this brave new world... "And even when everything seems useless, a ray of hope will pierce through the darkness and light your way." ((OOC: Ok, feel free to hitch a ride on one of the tendrils to the future. One of the light tendril's latched onto Galllantmons leg. He felt himself being tugged and then he vanished.
Rei awoke with Gigimon on a strange island. He seemed to be back to normal but his eye's were mismatched, red and blue. He joined the Black Swords because Gigimon was a virus. His journey in the future had begun...

Jai had watched as his friends entered the light. The tendrills went no-where near Jai. He turned around, and saw his two companions. Ulforceveedramon had reverted back to Veemon, as the power burnt out. And Lucemon stood, arms crossed, wings retracted into his back. "Ok guys, this is it! We shall find Lief's base at Dragon eye lake on our own and people will look up to us!" Lucemon sighed, and tilted his head towards Jai. "Ok then, let's go and find this place."
The quest for Lief's hidden base begins....
Lucemon stuck his hands into the ground, and with immense strength tore open a portal to the fabled Lake. Jai, Veemon, and finally Lucemon, all hopped into the swirling vortex, which closed behind them.

In an empty location of the File Mountains a flurry of wind began to pick up. At first it was just a pleasant breeze but it quickly got violent. For a moment if anyone were to be nearby they'd notice the wind blew like it was collapsing into itself until there was a sphere that formed from the wind that grew and shrank until feathers exploded from it and soon after that digimon slowly appeared from it; a biyomon, a gabumon, a gatomon, and a magna angemon. They glowed slightly when they appeared before the glow faded and they slowly recovered from being disoriented. At first they reacted like they thought they had died before realizing they survived somehow. The four digimon then realized their tamer was nowhere to be found. Their tamer, Chris hadn't been sent to where they had he currently was floating in subspace with the digimon who had teleported them. His digimon spent hours searching for him, but none of them had any luck after a while they questioned his death or his return to the real world, however they could still feel Chris's digisoul running through them. Deciding on no better alternative his four digimon separated going their own ways hoping to eventually find him, hoping for his return. However, they also remembered the events of the tower and sought to prepare for the future, to prepare for Lucemon and Marcus.
Meanwhile, Chris remained to float in subspace while Wisemon watched and examined him, the digimon had always found humans fascinating. Unlike his leader Lucemon who found them trivial. True to his nature he was a digimon who had a twisted sense of balance. He was truly chaotic, however he never considered himself evil more so neutral he did what he found personally appealing. It was one of the reasons he hadn't just left Chris to drift in subspace. He could sense the chaos of his inner emotions, the chaos in his mind, and even the chaos in his soul. To the digimon this was quite interesting. He held his hands next to Chris's head and traveled into his mind.
His mind was just as chaotic as the digimon expected. However, before he could even get a chance to look around he herd sobbing. The digimon followed the sound and soon came upon a child. The digimon knelt next to the boy and tilted his head slightly "Why do you cry?" He asked. The boy paused for a moment and looked at the digimon. He sniffled before speaking "Because I'm scared and lost and confused" He said rather quickly. The digimon couldn't really say he was surprised the state of his mind he was sure he would even be lost. "Do you know where you need to go?" He asked. The boy shook his head no which was to be expected in the mind people rarely knew much. The digimon sighed "Why don't we look together" He said as he decided to use this as a chance to get to know more about him. The boy thought for a moment before nodding "Okay...but don't leave me alone okay" he then took the digimons hand and began walking. They passed many things as they walked, the boy was oblivious to most of it. After a while he looked at the boy "So how did you get lost" He asked. The boy seemed to think for a bit and frowned "I don't remember..." He looked a bit disappointed that he couldn't remember "I was looking for someone I thought I was going the right way, but when I got there I was alone" He said sounding like he was about to cry "Its my fault I couldn't find him, I should've known better than to get lost" He said tears forming. The digimon stopped walking and smiled at him "Don't feel so bad, people get lost all the time, and sometimes they don't even know it" He said. He wasn't sure why he was being so nice to the kid, but in a way he felt for him, perhaps it was pity. It was then that he felt a jolt and when he looked around the kid and everything else was gone he knew it meant Chris was waking up. He quickly left Chris's mind and returned to subspace.
Back in subspace the wisemon blinked as he was brought from Chris's thoughts. He knew he had to act fast to keep Chris unknowing about the subspace or his connection to Lucemon. With a few motions Chris and Wisemon were brought to the digital world on the file mountains. Wisemon then glowed as he turned into his wizardmon form. It was about that point that Chris began to awake. Apparently calmed down, the digimon couldn't help but wonder if he had caused him to calm down. Chris blinked for a few moments before taking in the world around him. It took him a moment to catch up to reality and seeing the wizardmon standing over him "Woah, where am I?" He asked. The last thing he remembered was he and his digimon about to die. The digimon put a hand on his shoulder "are you alright, you are in the file mountains I found you here unconcious" He asked. It took Chris a second to nod "Yeah, I think I'll be fine" He said. He stood for a moment before realizing his digimon weren't around. He quickly pulled out his digivice and went through it and realized his digimon weren't there. "Have you seen a biyomon? gabumon? gatomon? Magna angemon?" He asked the wizard in a state of panic. The digimon shook his head no "Sorry, you are the only one I've seen, I honestly thought you might be in a coma" He said. Chris frowned and nodded still taking things in, for now he could only assume his digimon had been digitalized, or worse. He looked at the digimon who gave him a warm look and rubbed his shoulder "don't worry I'll help you out, besides it's not safe for a tamer to travel around here without a digimon" He said. Chris was comforted by his words and headed out of the mountains with him. As they walked the wizardmon smirked darkly things were going pretty smoothly. He made a motion using a spell to send a card to Lucemon letting him know he was keeping an eye on the tamer.

"If we head for the future..."
Kazu Matsumoto
"...Then we can be forgiven for the past." An immense pressure appeared above the skies of File Mountain. It was like an invisible black hole was pulling in all the air and condensing it. The air continued to compress, heating up in the process as more was dragged in and added to the super-compressed particles. A point in the sky, right in the centre of the air ball, began to glow red as the heat built and built. From nothing more then a pinprick of light the red glow grew to the size of a ping pong ball, then a tennis ball, then a football, and larger still. The sphere of super heated air eventually reached the size of a double decker bus, as more air was pulled in it hit the wall of extreme heat and fizzled, letting off clouds of steam that shrouded the area. The sphere began to become unstable, spikes of the red heat would flash out in random sparks. From the very centre of this phenomenon cam a green light. In a similar manner as the red light it grew from a pinprick outwards, however this time the sphere of green light stopped expanding when it reached about the same size as a human. The erratic spikes of red heat began to pick up in response to the green light shooting out in fiercer more powerful bursts. All of a sudden the red light compressed, forcing itself to compact as tightly around the green light as possible, the sudden retraction created a vaccum for a margin of a few seconds. "LET ME OUT!"The voice rang throughout the entire area, echoing off of stones, boulders and rocks, down into the deepest caves and rolling across the highest peaks. Digimon living on the mountain responded to the noise and poked their heads up to observe the event occuring. The red heat was still pushing down on the green orb, and it was looking to be crushing it, however something was pushing back, forcing the heat back. After a few brutal seconds the heat could compress no more, it expanded out, reacting to the air rushing to fill the vaccum and detonating. In the most spectacular fashion the entire sky above the File Mountains burst into flames, the wave of fire spread from the green and red lights and washed out in all directions. One edge of the wave singed the side of the actual mountains causing some Digital inhabitants to flee the area briefly. Back in the centre of the explosion the green orb was flung towards the ground at an incredible speed, hurtling into the ground and ploughing straight down until it his bedrock at which point it continued for a few meters before finally coming to a stop... The green sphere shrank back, retracting into a device that was clutched in the hands of a young man. He looked about 17 with wild brown hair. Despite the impact he just endured his clothes, black trousers and shoes, a red top and a black jacket not disimilar to that of a Japanese school uniform, seemed to be totally intact and undamaged. It was impossible to tell whether he was concious or not as a large pair of pointy black sunglasses covered his eyes. The young man stirred, letting out a groan. He coughed and rolled onto his front, pushing himself off the floor and gripping the sides of his self-made hole. "Ouch..." He looked up to see a good few hundred feet of rock surrounding him. He laid a hand on the back of his head and scratched, confused as to how he had dug this far, especially as he seemed to be embedded in bedrock. "Bugger..." The young man gripped the sides of his hole and began to climb. At least he tried to climb, his attempt at escape should be better described as a scramble as he made his way slowly up the wall. After a while the young man emerged on the surface. He got to his feet and pushed the glasses up his nose and stretched. "This place... It hasn't changed in the least. What's going on?" Looking around he could see no other Tamers or Digimon. The device from earlier shone brightly as a beam of light emerged from it. In the wake of the light emerged a reptilian Digimon, blue of colour and with a yellow V on his forehead. "Yo, where are we now?" The Tamer looked at his friend and then back at the landscape. "I think... We're back..."As the boy surveyed the landscape two figures loomed overhead, they had avoided the firewave and were looking at the new arrival. They both wore hooded cloaks and stared at the boy. "He has returned..." "Indeed. Despite our attempts to break his Spirit... He seems to have attained Forgiveness..." The two figures shuddered as the word was spoken. "So what now? We thought it was over at Factorial Town, and when that Zar boy kidnapped him. Then again at Endless Mountain. We even saw that pseudo-deity Marcus stab him through the chest!" The second figure nodded. "No matter what physical ourdeal he goes through he is continually persistent in staying alive. And even with us trying to break his Soul and Spirit by forcing him to kill off another Tamer, a friend at that, he still comes back!" The two figures shuffled uncertianly on their ledge as the young man began to wander around his crash zone. "What next?" The second figure seemed to sigh "We tell the Master. But I would assume the next phase would be to engage him directly in battle." In a whirl of smoke and code the second figure vanished. The first figure looked at the young man before turning to leave the same way, "We'll see how long you last... Kazu Matsumoto.."

"If we head for the future..."
Kazu Matsumoto
"...Then we can be forgiven for the past." Kazu and Veemon came to a halt, they had been walking for a few hours and had come to the conclusion that they were, in fact, back in their own time. "So what the hell happened to us?" Veemon shrugged, "Seems so..." Kazu sighed, he still didn't understand the whole event. Launched through time then wrenched back to the present. What did it mean? "Oi Pointy Eyes!" Kazu spun on his heels to see a feminine Digimon land nearby, he pointed at himself innocently. He recognised the figure as a Rosemon. "Of course you! Who else has those stupid glasses!" Kazu's eyebrow dropped, "Hey! I love these glasses!" The Rosemon scoffed and flung an arm out, pointing to the burnt sides of the cliffs. "You're little entrance burnt my home to a crisp! And me aswell!" Kazu rubbed tha back of his head. "Ohh, sorry about that... I just--- EURGH!" "Kazu!" Rosemon's hand had lashed out, her whip wrapping around Kazu's neck. Veemon sprinted forwards. "Back off! That cave was my only home!" Rosemon aimed a solid kick into Veemon's chest sending him flying backwards, down the hole that Kazu's fall had created. "Vee...Mon..." The thorns in the whip began to dig into his neck, small trickles of blood began to roll down his neck. "You stupid! Stupid! Stupid boy! Everything! My whole world was there!" Kazu tried to splutter out some apology but the whip was tightening, air was becoming difficult to come by. His vision began to blur, shouts from Veemon only brushed his ears as his conciousness slipped. "Let...Me...Go?" Kazu's body went limp. The Rosemon's heaving breath slowed and tears were streaming down her cheeks. "Damn it... I just... Why!?" The whip continued to tighten despite Kazu not reacting. "My whole life!!!" Rosemon threw Kazu's body to the ground and uncurled a long thorn-like sword. "I've never done anything wrong..." she sobbed. She drew the weapon back and thrust it towards Kazu's chest. In a burst of green flame Kazu's arm lashed out and grabbed the Thorn-Blade. "Sorry babe, I'm pretty picky about injuries to my chest..." A bright light shone from Kazu's Digivice, consuming him entirely. "Kazu Matsumoto! Hybrid Digivolve to: Kumamon!" The light faded, revealing a short, white bear. Green armour adjorned his head torso and feet. His hand still gripped the Thorn-Blade tightly, Kazu got to his feet and a cold mist rose from his fist. "Sorry to give you the cold shoulder babe, but I don't feel lik being killed a third time." The mist spread as Rosemon's Thorn-Blade began to freeze. "What!? What're you doing!?" Kazu smirked, he liked this new form. "Like I said, I'm sorry for trashing your house, but that doesn't really justify trying to kill me does it?" Rosemon gritted her teeth as the ice crept up her arm. "You wouldn't understand my loss. My whole world..."Kazu shook his head, "If only that was true..." Rosemon shot him a fierce look, she wrenched her arm backwards, shattering the ice and freeing herself. "What would you know!? Rarh!" In a frenzy, Rosemon pulled back her whip arm and slammed it down towards Kazu, in a reactionay move he leaped to the side, hitting the ground in a combat roll and returning to a crouched position, he flung out his right hand and a swirling od ice and mist surrounded it, his eyes widened and a cheeky grin appeared as the ice and mist solidified into what looked like a rocket launcher. "Snow Bomber!" Kazu took aim and unleashed a volley of high velocity snowballs at Rosemon, she grimiced and raised her whip, spinning it wildly. The roating weapon brushed aside most of the shots, the ones that got through missed her by inches, as the volley stopped she leaped forwards pulling her Thorn-Blade out infront for a clean slash.. Kazu tutted and pointed his new weapon at the floor and squeezed the trigger. Another volley of snowballs pelted the ground but this time they had the effect of pushing Kazu backwards, Rosemon's sword slashed through the air and, as she touched the ground she slipped on the snow and ice that the attack had created, as she fell backwards Kazu flipped in the air, landed and pushed himself towards her at speed, "Tsurara Punch!" he pulled up his left fist, surrounded by ice, and landed a blow square in Rosemon's stomach. She let out a groan as the force of the punch began to throw her backwards, "Crystal Freeze!" Kazu gave her no time to react, he'd already jumped into the air and had his cannon pointed it square at her. "Frozen Tundra!" The rocket launcher shook as the attack was launched, a furious rain of ice, snow and hail pelted Rosemon into the ground, as the move subsided Kazu landed and took some heavy breaths. Rosemon had been totally covered in snow and ice and was now hidden from vision. "Give up?"From the mound of snow a cracking sound could be heard, Rosemon's arm punched into the air, shards of ice going flying along with it. The flower maiden lurched to her feet, snow falling from her shoulders and head. She looked furiously at Kazu, "How dare you!" Kazu rolled his eyes and yelled back at her "How dare I what!? Defend myself from attack? I told you I apologise." Rosemon shook her head and lunged at him again with her Thorn-Blade, "Tsk!" Kazu leaped into the air, the blade crashing into the ground beneath him, no matter what way he spun it Rosemon was still a Mega and he had no idea how powerful this bear form was. Rosemon spun around and lashed out with he whip, Kazu raised his arms to block and was launched backwards by the force of the whips impact, slamming into the floor and coming to a stop near the top of his crater. "Kazu!? Is that you? What happened?" Kazu held his head with his paw and groaned. Even he didn't know and he was the one it had happened to. "Dunno buddy but it's pretty handy." He got back to his feet and looked down the hole at Veemon, he gave a cheeky smirk and gave his friend a thumbs up, "No worries buddy, I got this!"Kazu turned back to face his opponent, he knew that he couldn't beat her one on one like this. He didn't seem to have enough strength to fight a mega, esecially since his attacks seemed to have only annoyed her. "Ok so plan B..." Rosemon was walking towards Kazu now, her whip and Thorn-Blade at the ready, Kazu was ready as he could be. "Rosemon... Could you listen to me?" he threw his rocket launcher to the ground and raised both hands to show he meant no further harm. She seemed taken aback and stopped walking towards him. "You've kept saying your whole world was in that cave. But why? Such a beautiful Digimon living like a hermit all the way out here. It doesn't seem right. Someone's whole world should be defined by the places they have been and the things they've seen. So why have you closed it all down here?" Kazu's words clearly made an impact, Rosemon had lowered her weapons now and was listening. "I guess... It's because I... Never found anyone. No one ever wanted to be my friend. I was born a Rosemon, a mega, mature and looking like this when everyone else my age was in-training or a rookie." A tear ran down her cheek. "They shunned me, taunted me and pushed me away. I fled my little village and came here. I stayed in that cave an made my life there everything. But I don't want that..." Kazu nodded and took some tentative steps towards her, "I understand, I used to be picked on for being different too. But you can't let it get to you, I vowed to go out and see the sights across the world and expand my horizens and find people like me. If you'd like---" as Kazu reached Rosemon he shone with light, seemingly morphing out of the Kumamon form and back into his spikeyglassed self "---You could travel with us?" As he spoke he reached out a hand to the Digimon. A few silent seconds passed before Rosemon looked up at his hand. "I could... You'd take me? Even after all this?" She put away her weapons, her Thorn-Blade retracting and the thorny whip wrapping around her arm. Kazu smiled at her and held out his green D-Arc "Of course, jump in here and meet everyone, in some way or another we're all different. Besides I think Mermaimon and Sakuyamon would be grateful for the female company." Laughing Rosemon placed her hand on Kazu's Digivice. "Thank you... Oh my... I never got your name!" Kazu grinend back at her as she was encompassed by light, "The name's Kazu. Kazu Matsumoto." with Rosemon broke down into orbs of light and was pulled into the Digivice. An hour or so later Kazu and Veemon were sat on a rock and watching the sun setting over the File Mountains. "That was mental..." Kazu rubbed his neck, the pinpricks from Rosemon's whip had gon but there was still an ache where the injuries had been. "You're not wrong. What happened with that Kumamon thing? You turned into a Digimon without me!" Kazu scratched his head, he didn't know what had happened but Veemon was right, he had become a Digimon without Bio-Merging and had no idea how. All that remained was a symbol of a snowflake on his Digivice screen that he daren't press yet. He sighed and looked into the distance. "Looks like this leauge of heros won't be happening for some time now... All we can do is wait for a sign. Marcus still roams free and the guy who turned Lief is still wandering around. I say that as we look for a sign on what to do next, we look for them." Veemon shrugged, seemingly impartial to the idea. "Whatever buddy, you know I'll follow you in whatever choice you make. Stupid eyeware or not." grinnign widely Veemon got up and ran from Kazu, "My glasses are COOL!" Kazu got up and sprinted after his partner heading out from the File Mountains. The swirling clouds of red code and black smoke hovered. "And yet again he avoids death. And this time he even turned his attacker onside." The second cloud seemed to sigh "The boy's charisma is a dangerous asset. We must be wary... Especially now he is seeking us out." The other cloud made an agreeing grunt and swirled away. The other figure sighed again "If we allow him to grow much more... Then there is no hope of us raising our lord..."
