i use the 5 or seven card Future/present/past if i'm really in a rush, but THsi spread is interesting, It's called the Hagall spread, it's in the shape of the rune hagall (hailstone) and the same card keeps popping up as MYself. Odin, I think its the king of stones(pentacles in some decks)

Sounds interesting. I only know bare bones about norse mythos, so sadly I can't converse at length on it, but I do know a little bit about odin and his crows/ravens.

its the father/king of cups sorry, thsi deck has a mix of many religions. i mean the court cards for the Cups are Odin, Percival, Venus of Wellendorf, and Brigid of Ireland, then the other three suits are stones native american mythology, swords Egyption mythology, and then...i forget...*looks* wands are indian. hindu.

Now that does sound like a fun mix. Hindu deities are...different. Shiva and Krishnu, and of course you can't forge Kali.. ^^*

Ah, I knew I was forgetting someone important. ^^* Brahma and Vishnu. Well, Brahma is Vishnu, but a different incarnation...

brahma is the universe, basically all of the deities put together are brahma.
PostPosted: Sat Jan 21, 2006 11:10 pm
*nods* But since all of the deities are just different faces of Brahma, they are really all the same only different.

true. my personal belief system is something like that, that no matter what god/deity we believe in. its just different faces of the same entity, forged so that we can comprehend and understand it.
